The change in personnel (front desk) was a huge mistake. The new people are rude! We said goodbye and they didn't even say a word. They barely say anything to you and look at you like you're bothering them. My kids ortho service today was terrible. One was cut and the other was hurt. They tried to change our appointment to 9am when it was at 2:30pm. We could not make that time so they told us to keep our appointment. Sad to say change is NOT always good! These people couldn't be bothered to treat patients kindly! Very disappointed and looking for another place. read more

Horrible. Horrible horrible. I have no comments to say about the dentist or orthodontist but the owner/manager treatment of patients here has made it impossible to continue treatment here. We have been overcharged. Wrongly charged. They can't even verify insurances it's just a mess. This office used to be great yet as of the last 6 months their quality of service has been extremely poor. Appointment times are not respected, both times in the last two visits I waited over an hour to be seen with my last visit having to leave because it was pushing 2 hours to even get a cleaning done. The customer service at this location used to be great. The ladies at the front desk were always helpful. Since the two ladies left the customer service got really bad. Today, I called the office to inquire about a bill I got on the mail. The lady told me that the Insurance hasn't been making payments. I asked her if they can reach out to the Insurance company to figure out what the problem was and her answer was "we don't have time to call your insurance company". Sadly I have to find a new dentist because Aava does not let you get a simple teeth cleaning without x-rays. It's been 6 months since my last x-ray and they told me they are required to give me another x-ray or they can't give me the 6-month cleaning. I'm very disappointed. Avoid this place, they don't treat customers equally. I've waited for 1 hour and 10 mins for a regular check up and cleaning, but the doctor is helping some emergency customers that cut my line. This place is amazing! Dr. Aaron and staff have been nothing but professional and helpful. From the time we came in, to the treatment we received, they have been so kind, knowledgeable, and I never feel like they get irritated with all of our questions. Irene has been so sweet and she helps explain insurance and gives us options and I never feel pressured into doing anything(this I something we have come across with many dentists before). Also being in the medical field their instruments and facility are very clean which meant a lot to us, because my husband is in sterilization and many dentists we've gone before have had extremely dirty instruments. Stop contacting me! Over the past year and a half I have asked the staff to take my name off of their list. I have not lived in the area since last year. I have received multiple calls and now a "last attempt" email with a link to book an appointment since I first asked my contact information to be removed shortly after my visit. I also received a bill a couple of months ago with a 60 days past due stamp on it (and didn't receive any prior notices) which I resolved with staff as it was already covered by insurance over a year ago. I didn't have any issues with the deep cleaning I had done, but they really tried to push teeth whitening on me which is totally cosmetic and not necessary. read more

I have been to this dentist multiple times over the years and been switched between 3 different dentists due to turnover reasons? First a doctor that got fired and did a great deal of work on my teeth, to have it all redone by Dr. Tu, then moving over to Dr. Au. Such a rollercoaster since my previous dentist visits prior to Aava Dental. The first doctor would argue with me after I saw a bubble/space on my X-ray after his work was completed saying that "every doctor will say something different, it looks okay to me. Another doctor may say it's not good work", etc. Extremely defensive. Once having to get my work all redone for some reason. It all was done for free through Dr. Tu due to the owner. I've had root canals done (my first ever- and now I'm wondering if I really even needed them done), fillings, teeth cleanings (that didn't really feel like they cleaned my teeth). For fillings, you can clearly tell you've had work done there. The color doesn't match, the material they use is just basically sitting on your tooth.. I feel like from all the work I've had done they go bad shortly after, which is extremely disappointing for the money I've paid for all of this work.. And of which has never happened at past dentists I've gone to. I don't know why I continued going to them for so long after all of this. However, I will say their staff is very friendly now from the time Dr. Au has started working here all the way to their front desk workers. read more

Another update, the partial crown aava dental office put on me cracked in half in my mouth this weekend. The partial crown they put on me is not strong or durable (second time it broke, first time it broke in my mouth while the dentist was putting it in, they ordered a new one and this one just broke). I had to go to another dentist to get it taken care of, but looks like Aava dentist billed my insurance for a full crown instead of a partial crown in 2020, so now that I need a new crown put in insurance will not pay for it (there's a limit of one every 5 years), and now I have to pay over $1000 out of pocket for something that they should've taken care of. read more

Best root canal ever! If you ever need a root canal, ask for Dr. Tu, she was amazing! Also, Mike Gray, the dental assistant was awesome! Mike has a great way of making you feel comfortable and relaxed even when you're terrified. Ana, in the front office, always prepares an estimate for you and is very good about explaining what options you may have. I have been looking for a good dentist and I am happy to say I have found a home at Aava Dental. The entire staff has been amazing!!! They go above and beyond with all the little extra details. Last summer I had half my old silver fillings taken out and replaced them with all white fillings and yesterday Dr Aaron was able to take care of my 6 month check up and complete the job of replacing old silver fillings. He did the work quickly and was always concerned about my comfort. I appreciated the communication they provide with regards to billing and they even gave me a teeth whitening kit to use at home after my visit for free. I have been to some really really bad dental offices. I had almost given up hope in finding a dentist that I love. Had really bad pericoronitis from my wisdom tooth coming out and in alot of pain. Had no appointment or insurance but they really took care of me. Got there early, everyone was so friend. The receptionist came in after me but greeted me really friendly. The assistant was very considerate of my pain when taking the cray pictures -which I've always hated doing. She made it in a way that the pain wasn't unbearable. Dr Aaron explained the issue really well. Didn't push any services on me, instead recommended me to a surgeon because my case was really bad. Great office staff, doctor and hygienist! My husband decided to give them a try because they take care of union members. Well I tried them first and I am so happy we gave them a try. The doctor is very thorough and took care of my issues quickly and they were upfront about costs, so no surprises. The hygienists are fantastic, Yamilet is great, she did a thorough job and is super friendly. I've had multiple experiences with the doctors of Aava dental and each time I've been treated with respect. My favorite part of the dentists is the fact that they never shamed me for waiting so long to actually return to the dentist, whoops! It had been a few years since I had been even for a cleaning, but I was never given a guilt trip. The dental assistants are always kind and encourage me to raise my hand if something is uncomfortable, but I never have needed to! They're always gentle and quick and my appointments have never been over an hour (despite the extensive work they have done). Disney employees: they take our insurance!
