I need to also mention that I have never done a road trip before. I was only a couple hours into my drive when I got a "low engine coolant" warning from my car. Panic stricken, I pulled over and managed to find that this place was close. Jared let me know that they could rearrange their schedule and check my coolant levels quickly. Fortunately, they found no leaks and only needed to top off my coolant. I was there a total of two hours. Excellent service! While I waited some exceptional things I want to point out about this place besides the service and friendly staff. The place is very clean. From the front desk, coffee station, and waiting room to the bathroom. Very clean. In the restroom, there was a lovely small basket that contained various travel size items from combs to pads and tampons. If you were traveling, they were free to take. I helped myself to an Emery board. In the waiting room, they had an area with books that were free to take if you so wished too. This place is a gem and I feel it is very community oriented. If I ever have a problem in this area again, I know exactly where I'm bringing my car.

I was up visiting in grants pass when all of a sudden, a terrible noise was coming from the front right of my engine bay. Not knowing the exact cause, had my suv towed into Tom's early on a Monday. By Monday afternoon they knew what was wrong, had the part is stock and could get me back on the road by end of the next day. They were even complete early and upon pickup, the tech showed me the broken fan from the radiator fan assembly that was basically wobbling away making quite the ruckus. I am so thankful that Tom's was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. They did come highly recommended by some friends so I'm glad I trusted them. If needed, will definitely take vehicles back to Tom's.

On my drive, the radiator hose blew off. Not having any tools with me. I called for help and get my car towed to my work. I reattached the radiator hose and filled the radiator with water. I tried starting it and sounded out of time and won't start. I tow it back to the shop and have them look at it. They tell me that It's complicated and I need to take it somewhere else. I had triple A tow my car to Star on 10/27/25. I gave them a call in advance and let them know I would be sending it there and stated what had happened. For full context, I was exiting the free way in central point there was a small box in the middle of the road and I had not choice but to slow down and go over it. My car being an Alfa Romeo Giulia sits low and something was pulled out of the bottom of my car and it immediately lost all power steering. I was able to pull to the side at the very end of the ramp. No body damage at all, car was still drivable but no power steering. The tow truck drivers were able to drive it into the flatbed themselves. Zach from Star automotive s initial quote 10/27/25 totaled $10,054.53. See pic and note Quote 1. (This quote will dramatically change once insurance adjuster is involved) 4 quotes later, 2 subcontracted dealerships, a broken fuel module that made my car completely underivable, and no answers from Zach or Austin about what happened. The insurance claims adjuster, the service manager in Portland and the technicians all agree in writing that my car was not drivable when it was brought in and that someone clearly damaged the fuel module brought the car in with zero fuel, and then tried to cover it up ...the technician stated "it was hanging off when I saw it". Zach blamed this entire incident on a recall. Once again in writing the alfa Romeo dealership states this was not possible. I did not accuse Zach or Star right away when I was presented with all the evidence and facts...I called Zach and sent him the email from the service manager who he spoke with and checked my car in with. I simply wanted an answer, and a solution to this issue. It's Friday 4:47pm 2/27/26 my car is 246 miles away one way. The additional cost is $1113.31. I just wanted my car back. When I went down to Star after my phone call with Zach to simply discuss this in person...they said Paul is on vacation and that there was nothing they could do for me. I said I wanted to believe Zach wouldn't take advantage of me knowing how hard things were already finically ....Austin and Zach made many excuses that were not only unreasonable and impractical explanations for this incident but Austin then proceeded to yell at me and threatened to call the police on me. To the owner Paul...I know you are not aware of any of this, and from one business owner to another I am truly sorry this is what your employees are doing behind your back representing your business. I could have chosen a statefarm preferred shop, but due to my past experiences with Star, Dave specifically when he was there I chose your shop. Paul please contact me regarding this matter. I do have more documents and a video of my encounter with Zach and Austin this evening if you'd like to see to give you a full perspective. I will not upload all the documents, videos I have at the moment I will leave a thorough review in full after this claim has been closed out. When we left I thought I grabbed the wrong Motorcoach. Jesse was so accommodating. The only time I heard the word "no" it was in front of the word "problem." We had lunch at a very nice restaurant walking distance from Henderson's. When we told our server why we were in Grants Pass she said many people who come intell her the same thing and they come from states all over the place to visit Henderson's. There's no doubt why.

I was kept informed at every step and all the key people (service manager, mechanic, front desk) were on the same page. The work was done as requested in the right timeframe. One glitch was immediately identified and solved. The work and waiting areas were great, and hookups were provided for an overnight stay during work. We are thrilled with how our RV coach handles. I can't recommend them more highly.
