I was up visiting in grants pass when all of a sudden, a terrible noise was coming from the front right of my engine bay. Not knowing the exact cause, had my suv towed into Tom's early on a Monday. By Monday afternoon they knew what was wrong, had the part is stock and could get me back on the road by end of the next day. They were even complete early and upon pickup, the tech showed me the broken fan from the radiator fan assembly that was basically wobbling away making quite the ruckus. I am so thankful that Tom's was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. They did come highly recommended by some friends so I'm glad I trusted them. If needed, will definitely take vehicles back to Tom's.

Last week I started to notice stiff steering again, so I took it back to him to have him check out what was wrong. Assuming there would be no charge since it felt like the same issue I had experienced a few months ago, I was surprised when he told me the total would be around 300. After inspecting both invoices and doing some research, I learned that the issue I was experiencing this time was likely due to a mistake made in their repair back in August. I asked for a refund because I did not think I should be charged due to their lack of care during the first repair. Neil got very defensive, very loud and was quite disrespectful about the situation and would not take accountability for their actions. I understand it's hard to have your work questioned, but I think there are still better ways to treat your customers. I will not be returning to Neil Brown Automotive again.
