They removed the drywall which had mold but the studs had virtually no visible mold. They informed me that I should do a mold remediation to the tune of $2000, with an additional $500 mold clearance test (none of which my insurance would cover). The guy was a fast talker, and quite the salesman. I felt so much pressure and so I called Pinnacle Restoration. I was thinking maybe they'll have a lower bid for the remediation. When the owner saw the area, she informed me 1) the other company did not demo enough of the drywall and 2) if I was her client, they would've treated that area for free and it was ridiculous what the company was trying to do.
