I had a tub overflow substantial water damage. I had three estimates, and Rigo was the most organized and professional of the three. He started the claim process right away with my insurance. He provided me with his contact info so I could be updated. They also have better reviews on Google if interested in looking. He drew pictures of the area and documentation is very important in insurance claims. SCAMMERS! We were sent a technician who couldn't tell if the reading was bad enough to indicate water damage. He had to call someone else for EVERY QUESTION that arose because he couldn't answer it himself. The process was so convoluted the technicians couldn't even explain it in a convincing way! Without our consent he started snapping pictures under bathroom cabinets that are on the other end of the room not even near the water damage!!! This technician had NO CLUE what he was doing. At one point he asked who our insurance provider was. (They are a well known big provider.) We told him and he said "oh! They are known for responding." LOL WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!! We needed to call WFM Restoration to locate the source of where a leak was coming from in our hallway. Alan came out within an hour, and used an infrared camera to detect the water damage. He was extremely helpful, taking us step by step to organize everything to begin getting our leak and water damage fixed. There were no questions left unanswered, and the process was made clear. I went from being anxious before Alan first arrived to having a sense of calmness by the time he left. He was extremely friendly, personable, understanding, thorough in the paperwork and pictures, and very knowledgeable. On december first , we discovered what looked like mold on the top left corner of my shower , and the bottom right corner of my shower. Call w f m restoration to come out and look , they said it was definitely mold. So use their service and at the end.The guy told me all it was was wet wood or the stain in the wood. Not knowing anything about mold sounded reasonable to me. Fast forward to yesterday , as I was putting up the back board for my shower and I found what appears to be the same mold on the\nTop left of the shower.It appears , they never looked at that they just concentrated on the wet wood at the bottom of the shower. This company is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The first encounter was lovely and then the service began. The inability to answer questions in a truthful manner, the misogynistic daddy knows best attitude was over the top. The response time was almost immediate (great!) However, I discovered it just a marking of territory like wolves in the wild. Leaving equipment on property to give the sense of them doing something rather than providing the services needed to get back to normalcy. Not everyone appreciates busy work and I happen to be one of those people. At the end of the day the nice-ities were just a mask, a gimmick, a ruse to ingratiate themselves so when they blow smoke it smells good. On Memorial Day we noticed a large water stain on our kitchen ceiling, wonderful. Tried to call USAA, nobody home. Went to trusty Yelp and up popped WFM Restoration. It was about 7 PM and I called their number, thinking to set up an appointment in the next day or so. I was answered right away, and amazingly they sent someone out within an hour. My washer filter clogged with pet hair and the water bypassed the filter onto the floor. Called the company and a two-person crew arrived about an hour later. I only saw and met one crew member; the second came in about halfway through the job and basically just did the paperwork. There was standing water along the baseboards and I made them use a towel to wipe it up. They said they didn't move my washer or dryer because they didn't want to scratch the floor (it's slate and they couldn't tell what material was on the floor). The crew members spoke fast, repeated information and didn't explain what they wanted me to sign. When I started to read the documents, they put their fingers over sections and started to tell me what I was trying to read. Irritating, but also indicative of scammers. In addition, they did get the water up, but I couldn't smell any sanitizer and the floor wasn't clean, including the water trail they left through the entry where there had been no water. Finally, they charged me about double what the job should have cost and kept pushing demo work. I would recommend trying a different company. read more

Nobody who needs a restoration business like WFM is having a good day, but they have done a great job. They called me minutes after the plumber (Devan from Redline, also very good) referred me and Andrew came out the next day to assess the damage and start the work. The time window was from 1-3 and Andrew showed up at 1 on the dot. He called my Adjustor while he was here, handled that, and assured me that they'd be taking care of any claim stuff with them moving forward. He found additional water in another room that I didn't know was affected by the leak. Everything was explained to me very clearly. This is a stressful process and WFM and Andrew have been great. These days, you have to be very cautious about companies who work on your home as they can attempt to scam and take advantage of people. But as far as responsiveness and professionalism, I can definitely recommend WFM and Andrew who was the initial responder to my flooded bathroom. I returned after being away from home for 2 days to find my garage leaking when I entered to find my toilet had been running and was going through the floor and through to the garage. After filing an insurance claim, I decided on FWR to do the water mitigation. After was the adjuster and was knowledgeable, thorough and professional in getting the information needed to process my claim to get the ball rolling. I am giving the company three stars because I am just starting this process, and it's difficult to provide a complete review until the job is finished. Rigo has been excellent in addressing all my questions. He was patient, professional, and knowledgeable, and he took numerous pictures for my claim. He also had a strong understanding of the filing process. If this review were solely about him, I would definitely give him five stars. I would also rate the young lady I spoke with five stars for calming me down when I had a meltdown after receiving the first email from my claim adjuster. Although I don't know her name, she was wonderful. However, I have some concerns about the company's processes, which is why I'm currently giving it three stars. I have not yet received an estimate for the cost of this job, which initially started as a small project but seems to be increasing in cost as I write this. While I signed the contract without duress, I didn't have the opportunity to obtain estimates from other companies for comparison, which concerns me. Since this is my first claim, I would like to compare prices and services with other restoration companies or contractors to determine if this one is truly a five-star company. I am just starting this process and hope to be treated fairly, rather than feeling like I'm being taken advantage of due to my resources. I am also concerned about the quality of work being performed; I've noticed some deep scratches on the wall opposite the area they are working on, as well as a piece of trim that was not affected by water damage but was damaged during the removal of other affected pieces. We contacted a friend in the construction business and he told us WFM was a great option to help with the water damage. Well today was the first day of demo, Adam, Danny and Andres were extremely helpful!! They packed our whole kitchen up and made sure to ask if we needed anything left out. Of course I couldn't think of anything but when I did and needed to find said items the crew was on it, they insisted they recover it which they pretty much knew where the items were that I needed... they worked extremely hard today and went above and beyond expectations!!! They let me know everything through the whole process they had to move furniture around and asked me to make sure where they were moving it was fine. Considering the state my living room is in they made sure I still have access to everything I need access to. Please take the time to read the entire post. To start off, I was not impressed with WFM.... My initial complaint was, WFM was not communicating with me about the work that was going to be done at one of my rental properties. I would have workers showing up speaking to the tenant. The tenant would then call me and relay the message. That does not work for me.... The tenant is not the owner of the property... I am, those questions should be directed to me. Not the individual living in the rental property. I met with the workers and management from WFM. I explained my position and it was obvious to them that I was unhappy. After the conversation, WFM began communicating with me the way I thought they should. I appreciate them working hard to make this restoration happen. The quality of work was excellent. WFM also completed the work in a timely manner. I was really impressed with the overall experience once we worked out the initial issue. I would absolutely recommend WFM to anyone who needs restoration work done. I was really impressed they worked so hard to work with my personality. These guys actually did a nice job of tearing the wall out and putting up plastic in order to dry out the leaking pipe so the plumber could come fix the issue. They took quite a while to get my estimate into the insurance company so I had to call them and I guess remind them(?) to push it through. Once their work was done I guess they decided they no longer care and no need to come take down the plastic and remove it. I was on the schedule twice to have them come clean up and both times it was a no show. I ended up tearing down the plastic myself, which I guess isn't THAT big of a deal but the fact that I was on their schedule and they never showed up is crappy business. I would not recommend only because once the initial work was done and the insurance accepted their claim they didn't care anymore. This seems to be the trend nowadays I guess. read more
