We called Dave's, explained to them what was going on, and got the car towed in to the shop. From the moment we came in to the moment we left, we knew we were in good hands. This shop was very honest and transparent and did a really great job with the repair. We enjoyed a sunset run around town and the before our run was done, the car was ready to go! Our Sprinter van is older and we have been to a couple of different mechanics in different areas. Dave's is the gold standard. If we lived in the area, they would be our shop. This is the best experience we have had with a car mechanic and would consider ourselves lucky if we broke down near his shop again.

We were greeted immediately by Enrique Baroja, who was professional, calm, and upfront even though the shop was clearly busy. He told us the truck would be ready in about 90 minutes. To our surprise, the truck was done in under an hour -- but the speed wasn't even the best part. The team discovered that the bolt hadn't fully penetrated the tire. Instead of upselling or charging for unnecessary work, they removed the bolt, checked and serviced all four tires, set them to the correct pressure, and even recalibrated the tire‑pressure indicator. All of this was done at no cost. That level of honesty, efficiency, and customer care is rare these days.
