We were greeted immediately by Enrique Baroja, who was professional, calm, and upfront even though the shop was clearly busy. He told us the truck would be ready in about 90 minutes. To our surprise, the truck was done in under an hour -- but the speed wasn't even the best part. The team discovered that the bolt hadn't fully penetrated the tire. Instead of upselling or charging for unnecessary work, they removed the bolt, checked and serviced all four tires, set them to the correct pressure, and even recalibrated the tire‑pressure indicator. All of this was done at no cost. That level of honesty, efficiency, and customer care is rare these days. Bait and Switch Advertising!! Bought a set of tires here, they were listed as having the lowest advertised price for the set I wanted and claim they offer a replacement warranty. They charge that rate per tire, and then the fees start coming in. Fee after fee end up putting them on the higher side of the market for the tires. At this point I have too much time invested so I move forward. They end up taking an hour and half longer than originally quoted. Then when I got a nail in the tire they charged me over a hundred bucks to replace the dang thing! After I had paid for the warranty!! Predatory marketing and dishonest service claims. Not happy. Made appointment for oil change, brake light. 9:00 am. They did some sort of check-said needed tire, alignment; said it was In service so figured 30 minutes-then popped back in and my car was in parking lot and not even on lift yet. So 2 hours later! Full recommendation for the American Tire Depot! I scheduled my appointment online for a premium oil change and general maintenance. Dropped off the car and opted to wait and read a book while the guys worked on the car. They were done in about 30 minutes, so wait time wasn't bad at all. For the full oil change, general maintenance and labor it came to out to $96.09. The inside of the store unfortunately burned down recently, they are expecting to get the inside up and running within the next month or so. They have their office set up outside in the mean time. I brought my car in on a Sunday morning to repair or replace a soft tire. Matthew, the service manager, greeted me, assured me that they would attempt a repair first, and asked me to wait or return in 90 minutes. I spent that 90 minutes walking around downtown Oceanside. During the short wait after I returned, I observed Matthew interacting courteously and knowledgeably with other customers in person and on the phone.
