On another review site, someone mentioned that the receptionist at the front desk is extremely rude and has apparently been there for 30 years. They actually went to the dental office physically and stated that they wouldn't be returning because of her attitude. While I'm sure that Dr Jernigan is a good dentist based on the glaringly positive reviews that I have seen for him on a variety of sites, his awful receptionist is driving people away from him. I was told NOT to contact North Decatur Dentistry with questions or issues, and to instead call the doctor who performed the extraction. But the paperwork had no phone number for that doctor. Sometime later I received a bill in the mail for over double what I initially paid. When I inquired with NDD, they told me they misinterpreted my insurance coverage and that's what I owe. It was a very frustrating experience, and I don't recommend it.

There was water spraying everywhere at one point, and I even saw tools dropped on the floor and then picked up again instead of being replaced. That's not something you expect when you're sitting through a dental treatment like this, and it made the whole experience feel really unprofessional. Dr. Fuller seemed unsure of what she was doing, even though she kept insisting everything was going well. But after sitting there for hours with no real progress or completion, it was hard to believe that. From my perspective, things clearly weren't going smoothly. I don't recommend getting a root canal done by Dr. Fuller. Now I'm left with an open tooth, more visits I wasn't prepared for, and honestly a lot of anxiety about going back to finish this.
