Helen K.

I was looking for a new dental clinic because the tools and facility at my old clinic were looking worn out. Not to mention that for years, my doctor would tell me that i would need to redo my old fillings, but it never got addressed, so I sort of questioned their credibility. I've switched over to Feather Touch, and going to the dentist has been great and no longer stressful or scary! I love the location, staff, and how painless the visits have been! Feather Touch is located in Colony Square, so I love how I can grab a bite either before or after my appointment at Politan Row! Best way to reach the office is through the lobby that is located past Moe's that can be seen on the right side before entering Politan Row. Take the elevators on your right to go to the 12th floor and take a left out of the elevator. Office is located around the corner. Once you enter the office, you're greeted by friendly staff. I've had my cleaning and my fillings redone so far and everyone has been terrific from the front desk, dental hygienist, to Dr. Kim. They're super gentle, addresses all your questions, and always check on you to make sure you're comfortable and doing okay. I was little nervous getting my fillings redone today but I was amazed by how quick and painless the visit was! They gave me a bit of laughing gas, and then numbing shot, and some noise cancellation headsets that I connected my music to so that I can jam through the procedure. I can still hear some drilling but didn't feel any pain and was just enjoying the nice view from their office window and enjoyed my music. I still have more re-fillings to get done but judging by how this visit went, I have no worries and truly feel like I've made a great decision in switching over here! Also, I no longer have visible silver filling when I smile! Or as my friend had called it, pirate tooth but you can gather, these fillings were super old and definitely needed rework. Oh and make sure to bring your deck parking ticket to get validated on your way out! They got you covered! Your visit to the dentist is so easy!

I rarely leave reviews, but this was one of the worst dental experiences I've had…read more I initially came in for a routine cleaning and to establish a treatment plan. The hygienist was unprofessional, inattentive, and careless. Water was being sprayed all over me the entire time, and I had to repeatedly ask for a spit cup, which she never provided. Another hygienist had to step in to help, which was embarrassing and completely unacceptable. Oh and it took almost a hour to do my xrays. I even communicated to the office manager that I did not want that hygienist if I ever returned, and looking back, that should have been my first sign not to come back at all. I later returned due to a dental emergency to have a crown repaired. From the start, there was confusion about why I was even there. I clearly stated I came for a crown repair and to ask about a possible filling, yet the doctor documented that I was "upset" simply for correcting her. That note was both unprofessional and inaccurate and felt like an attempt to misrepresent me instead of acknowledging the mistake. During the procedure, I experienced intense sensitivity from the cold air and water. I repeatedly told the doctor it was painful and asked for adjustments. She refused and kept insisting it "had to be that way" instead of making even the smallest effort to make me comfortable. Rather than listening, she chose to argue and dismiss what I was saying. I eventually had to stop everything and request another doctor because I could not tolerate it anymore. The second doctor was no better. My mouth was numbed to the point where I could not move it at all and had to have my mouth physically opened. I was in pain for days afterward, which has never happened to me from a dental visit. After all of this, the final result was a crown that left a visible gap between my teeth. Before agreeing to the procedure, I specifically asked if the crown would eliminate the gap that showed with the temporary, and I was told yes. That gap did not exist before my crown broke, yet now it does. When I went back to address it, I had already requested not to see either of the previous doctors, yet they still tried to assign me to one of them or offered a provider fresh out of residency. At that point, it felt like there was no accountability at all. I was then told the gap was caused by the adjacent tooth, which makes no sense given this was not an issue before. This entire experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and honestly concerning. Between the unprofessional behavior, inaccurate documentation, lack of care for patient comfort, and poor results, I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Then waited another about 17 mins for the dentist to show up - determine what kind of treatment I needed... just a regular cleaning... Then office manager walks in and tells me they are understaffed and if I could come back again for the cleaning... which is why I was there.... I scheduled it for the following Thursday around the same time. The hygienist that day was quite gentle & experienced so I was done in less than 10-15 mins from start to finish

When I arrived at my first appointment the staff as the desk said "your insurance will probably reimburse you - please file it yourself." The next day I had the surgery. My fault in not checking to see if this practice was out of network with my insurance plan. (I don't go to doctors often). And they mislead me knowing they do not accept my insurance. Out of $600.

PRIORITIZE MONEY OVER PATIENTS BEWARE…read more.. I was referred to this practice by my primary dentist, but after my experience, I have formally filed a complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentistry and notified my provider that I will no longer accept referrals to this office. I attempted to reschedule a May 21 appointment due to a tornado and power outage in my area. I was told by staff that the $200 cancellation fee would be waived under the circumstances. I have documentation confirming a power outage at my home and an email showing our call was disconnected. Yet nearly a month later, on June 12, I was billed for the full $200--without explanation, follow-up, or regard for the prior communication. When I called to reschedule, Yolanda L., the office manager, was rude, insensitive, and completely unprofessional. She told me I needed to pay my full deductible upfront just to rebook, despite the emergency situation and the previous understanding. She was aggressive on the phone, dismissive of my concerns, and offered no support or compassion for the circumstances. This is not acceptable behavior for someone in patient-facing care. What's worse is that this practice failed to meet basic pre-operative standards. I was never given lab orders, formal clearance instructions, or education about anesthesia risk--even though I disclosed recreational smoker use. No reminders, documentation, or clinical follow-up were provided in the three weeks between my consultation and scheduled surgery. This is clinically irresponsible and could have put my health at risk. After reviewing other patient experiences, it's clear I'm not alone. Many others have described this office as hostile, unsympathetic, and dismissive. The common theme is money-first, patient-second--and it shows in how they communicate, bill, and treat people during vulnerable moments. This review serves as a warning to others and documentation of my experience. I have formally reported this office to the Georgia Board of Dentistry for further investigation. I've also notified my referring dentist to remove this clinic from their list. I will never return, and I urge others to do their research before trusting this team with your care.
