I find the staff pleasant and kind, and it's awesome that the dentists and their children are part of our Dunwoody community, going to Dunwoody schools and participating in area sports. As an adult patient, I felt welcomed. I could choose anything on Netflix to watch on the ceiling during my cleaning. Things ran on schedule. And when I returned to get two small cavities filled by Dr. Starnes, it went well with no issues. My estimated prepaid amount for the fillings was a bit higher than my portion ended up being with insurance, but they contacted me promptly to issue a credit back to my credit card. My boys have been to other pediatric dentist offices under our prior insurance plan that were not as patient and kind. This was their best experience by far. The Whole Tooth has new, current equipment, which was especially great for my 8 year old with sensitivity issues because the panoramic x-ray doesn't hurt at all and the bitewing inserts were smaller and softer, so they caused a lot less discomfort. He hated his prior bite wing x-ray experiences so much that he cried when it was time to go to the dentist. But no more! Dr Bongiovi and the hygienist took extra care to show him and let him know about everything they were doing and the tools being used, which helped his nerves a lot. They were patient and kept checking in with him to make sure he was doing ok. Lots of flavors of toothpaste for the kids to choose from, my oldest really liked the marshmallow flavor. And there's a fun prize machine to use their great visit tokens to select their prizes. Oh, and leave a bit of time at the end, there's even a game room part of the waiting area with video game machines. Highly recommend for adults and kids!

He was very kind and took great care of me. Now I'm 68!! and now Dr Todd Reagin, his son and Dr Lauren attend to me. The experience was very good. Unfortunately, the crown detached just 5 days after he prepped and cemented it. The fee for that and 2 X-rays was $471. I returned home and my dentist cemented it for $125. His fee for the same X-rays is $120. And West LA fees are among USA's highest. My dentist stated that Nordone did not prep the crown properly. It's still in place 3 months later. I asked Dr Nordone for a cost adjustment but he refused. I feel that this experience was basically exploiting an out of towner's emergency.

I called the office to investigate and the woman who answered the phone was the same woman who scheduled that first appt. and she said, "We accept and file it but we are not in network". That is very different from "Yes. We accept it". Not being in network, meant that I would be responsible for a greater portion of the bill. I feel as if I was purposely misled to get a new patient on the books. I was going to transfer my care to Dr. Hedlund as he was very pleasant, took his time and the staff was all very nice but given the circumstances, I probably will not.

He put in an implant that failed…read more Because Dr. Bruce retired I went to see Dr. Ogibway to see if she could help or perhaps the practice could help with some of the cost since the implant was bad from the start. Dr. Ogibway recommended invisalign to help the implant because she said the problem with the implant was the lower teeth hitting it. Invisalign was not helpful and caused further bone loss and infection in my mouth. I have xrays from the periodontist that show the bone loss before and after and it was much worse after. The invisalign did nothing to help with the failing implant and actually was the cause of the advanced bone loss. I finally found a decent dentist and periodontist who removed the implant. I am now going through a bone transplant process that takes over a year and I still may never be able to have even a bridge in that space. She is just interested in money. Do not use her as a dentist.
