I love Buffalo Brothers. The team here is fantastic, they will make you feel like regulars until you realize two years later... you are now officially regulars. The food is good and it's consistent, there are plenty of TVs to go around for whatever sporting event you are interested in and they have chive trivia and keno. Sometimes it's really busy, but they handle it well. Sometimes it's slow but then you get to know the bartenders (or other regulars) pretty well. I haven't been to a Buffalo Brothers in a while. The last time I went probably 2ish years ago the wings and service were meh. We went there last night around 5:45 to have some wings and watch March madness. First shout out for the 16 oz cold Labatt Blue cans. Love it. They had some ladies walking around giving out free bud light bottles and koozies so I also had one of those. We started with the fried pickle chips and they were pretty good. Large portion. Next my wife and I split 20 wings extra crispy with half medium and half spicy garlic. The wing wee cooked perfectly. The spicy garlic tasted identical to the medium and could t really tell the difference. The blue cheese was average. My daughter had a cheeseburger which seemed to enjoy. Good setup with tv's, cold beer, and good wings. The service was good and attentive. It looks like they pool tips and all work the dining room which usually results in better service. Service was awful, took 3 servers to bring what we needed like refills We never got some of the items, we were a party of 7 and they couldn't ring up our tab correctly with another couple until the manager came over. Slow service. They were more interested in making sure the bar was taking care of instead of the rest of the restaurant which was pretty low in customers. the wings were tough. Re-reviewing after coming here so many time over the years. It's been a year since I've been here, as I moved out of state, however, my first review holds true. I'm disappointed at the other reviews. How do people not understand the greatness that is this establishment? If you are complaining about service during COVID, please understand that most places could not even continue to stay open. And they made the effort with who showed up. Businesses need to make money too! It was a little slow when I arrived and I love that because I can chat with the bartenders! (Selfish on my part). Service is always on point! Becca is amazing! She was rocking the tending of the bar... I.e., she was serving me fast! (Again, I'm selfish). She's so cute and is always bubbly. I tried their Chicken Wings with Barbalo sauce. Two of my wings had broken bones, so they were actually pretty unpleasant to eat. I had to pick the shards of bone from out of my mouth because the bone ripped off with the meat while I was eating, and actually bit into a piece of bone that had broken off as well. The barbalo sauce was like a spicy BBQ sauce, which I enjoyed - I had no problem with the flavoring, or even with how the wings were cooked. The exterior was still crispy and nicely fried and the interior was moist and juicy. It's just the broken bones that were a bummer. I came with a friend on a Monday evening - it was pretty empty, I guess because it was a weeknight and there wasn't much going on. There is an outdoor patio which has a good amount of seating, so we hung out there, which was nice with the milder weather. Since there weren't many people, there also wasn't much staff, but we ended up being served relatively quickly, and the service was nice. Parking is plentiful, and it's a nice location, albeit a little tucked away from the main road. Overall, not a bad place if you want to catch a game, but if I come again, I'll probably try something besides the wings. read more

I haven't visited this restaurant since before covid. Upon returning to watch a Saturday night football game left me pleasantly surprised. I decided to try their fish and chips as that is one of favorite entrees. I have to say that it was extremely good and imho, the best in the area. I have visited all of the Irish pubs in the Cary, Morrisville, Apex areas and this surpassed them all. It was a Guinness lager battered fish and it was a nice large portion. The haddock filet came out nice and crispy as I had when I was in Piccadilly Circus. I would definitely recommend this for all fish and chip lovers. Now as far as the chips (fries for us in USA) they weren't as pleasant. I did order them with bacon and cheese and paid for the upgrade. It hurt my eyes, (quote from True Grit with John Wayne) it hurt my eyes looking for the bacon and cheese. Maybe they ran out of both the bacon and cheese, but it definitely wasn't worth the extra charge. Perhaps others have had a different experience but for me, not going to order it again. My wife had the buffalo wings with bleu cheese. They weren't anything special, but she did enjoy them. If you have the chance, then I would recommend this restaurant for their fair pricing and fish and chips. Just don't go there on Sundays during football season as I don't want to lose my seat. read more

Buffalo Brothers recently opened this location in Cary. It's new and leaves me with mixed feelings on both the service and the food. I've not been to any of the other locations in the Triangle so I will leave it to others to assess how this spot compares. Service: The greeter/host at the front door was friendly but did act overly eager to have me anywhere but standing in front of her -- almost to the point of me being an interruption. I get it though - working in new store, probably new at the job and wants to be sure people are seated quickly. That's where things fell off. One of the people behind the bar made eye contact but said nothing -- not a "hello, someone will be right with you", "do you need a menu", "can I get you something while you wait" -- just nothing. She did, however, have time to stand and chat with two gentlemen sitting at the bar right next to me. Just as I was ready to walk out, the other person stopped over. He was the bright spot in customer service department. Kudos to him. He saved what was otherwise a "meh" service experience. The food. I ordered two things (I hate it when my friends tell me to pick and give me no guidance. I suppose that didn't have me in a forgiving state of mind at the start of this erratic experience): The Jack'd Chicken Pizza and Loaded Cheese Fries. Another mixed thing. The pizza was good --- lots of cheese and large chunks of chicken with a crust not too thick or doughy. This is something we'd order again. The fries were a big disappointment. They were hot so there was that in the plus column but were light on the toppings and not worth the price. we wouldn't order them again. The bar/restaurant itself is nice. It's well lighted and not as dark and cave-like as the restaurant that used to be in this spot. Like all sports bars, it has TVs everywhere you look. It's a typical sports bar and with standard sports-bar food. It's nice in a generic sports bar way, I suppose. I came here once before, and it wasn't too bad; that's why I give it three, instead of two stars. I don't know where to begin with this place. They have good ideas, but the execution is crap. Everything was limp and sweaty--yeah, it was to-go, but I'm literally a three minute walk away. The styrofoam containers were melted. Did you hear that? That's fucking cancer, enormous taints, and learning disabilities leaching into my food. How stupid do you have to be to go straight from the fry vat to a plastic container? The pizza was the most generic one I've had. No exaggeration. I prefer DiGiornio to this. Shit, I prefer bagel bites. The salad was rusty lettuce and dried carrots. When I buy a bag of salad from the grocery, I assume the bottom eighth will be gross and get thrown out. I didn't realize I could sell it to this place. The chicken fingers were mushy (notice a theme here?) and dry. HOWEVER, I rather liked the Buffalo sauce! Here's something similar: 1 cup premade Buffalo sauce; use SYSCO if you can A few dashes of Frank's Hot Sauce A tablespoon or two of dill pickle juice Pretty damn tasty, oddly enough, and now you don't have to go there to try it. You're welcome. You don't get a pass because of COVID, guys. This place sucks. There's a lot of highly skilled servers and cooks out of work right now. Don't hire the lowest bidders. Came here on a Friday night and seated right away. Very clean table and comfy booths. Tvs all around but not noisy. Beer and liquor menu. Nice choice of salads, wraps, pasta and pizza and sauces for their wings. My salmon salad was delicious, salmon was moist and came out hot with plenty of feta cheese and greens. We tried Buffalo Brothers for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised! It's a large sports bar with plenty of TVs and an outdoor patio that has fans blowing on hot days. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls that came with a tasty sweet chili sauce. We really liked them and they tasted really fresh. I'm not sure if they're frozen or made from scratch but they definitely tasted fresh! My fiance ordered the regular wings with hot and sweet sauce and I ordered tenders with honey jalapeño sauce. On their scale they say the honey jalapeño should be hotter than the hot and sweet sauce but I thought the opposite. Both sauces had a nice flavor but neither was very spicy. I definitely plan on bumping it up next time. The chicken tenders were tasty and the breading was rather unique - it soaked up the sauce but maintained a degree of crisp. I quite liked it and plan on trying the boneless wings to see if they're the same. My fiancé's wings were meaty and grilled and had a nice char to them. The fries were tasty crinkle fries which are always a plus! We definitely plan on coming back and exploring more of the menu! I'm looking forward to trying the boneless wings and pizzas! read more

This is a review for their carry out option. I'm originally from western New York, so I wanted to try some wings that tasted a bit more like hometown style. Buffalo Brothers delivered on that! The ordering process on their online website was easy. A great idea in regards to their traditional wings; for $2 more you can select either all drums or all flats. Good variety of sauce options for wings. When I plated my wings at home the skin was still crunchy and the centers were thoroughly cooked, they know how to fry the wings here. The sauces I chose tasted great. I especially liked their blue cheese because it's obviously not from a damn bottle like so many other places. However I would recommend ordering extra blue cheese cups because the cup size is pretty smallish, but that's a nitpick. Can't speak for the indoor dining experience obviously, but their outside carry out parking service was quick and snappy. I was greeted at my car within a second of pulling up. So this rating is for what it is: a sports bar with a full kitchen that's open late. Don't expect gourmet meals, but expect way better-than-average bar food, great drink prices and honestly, some of the best service I've ever encountered. The wings and apps were great. Highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak rolls just for the dipping sauce it comes with. Medium wings have just enough kick, but this place definitely has some heat options if you want it. Ribs were decent enough to order them again (remember, it's a bar so if you want super-amazing ribs, head to a rib spot). That said, the place was pretty empty, which is a shame because the interior is really done well: wooden bar, tons of TVs, booths and hightops, outlets for charging your phone, great lighting and tunes, immaculately clean, an outdoor space, etc. Hopefully it catches on and people show up. The servers here are awesome: attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I've been to tons of newly-opened joints and this crew blows every single one of them away. It felt like the place was open for years. We'll def be back for some daily drink specials (check their website). As a first timer at Buffalo Brothers, I was slightly shocked in a way. At first glance, the menu is typical bar/pub food. You got your wings, ribs, burgers and other assorted bar food. Mainly wanting to try their boneless wings I decided on an 8 piece with a few of their sauces. One kind of odd thing they do is only allow you to choose one sauce (tossed) and you can't opt to even buy another if you wanted. However, if you get sauces on the side, you can get as many as you want which was just odd policy. The service was pretty friendly and the food came out in a pretty time, no complaints there. I would say that the boneless wings don't look like much and the presentation was lacking. They throw a few carrots and celery sticks under the wings, I guess to give it some nutritional value. However, I have to admit the wings were pretty good! They were crispy and crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Which shocked me since they really didn't look at that great to be honest. The atmosphere is very sports bar like of course, flat screen tvs as far as thee I can see. My area seemed well kept and clean, so kudos there. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, my only two complaints are the prices are high for pub food in my opinion and the sauce thing I mentioned earlier made me doc a star. I arrived a little early and was informed to wait at the bar. Employees were friendly, however, service was slow (regulars told me that they were more busy than usual). My order was ready at 3:15 pm. Everything was packaged well, portion sizes are reasonable, and our order was accurate. The chicken tenders were salty, crisp, and delicious! The coleslaw was dry. We had enjoyed the food at Buffalo Brothers on Lake Boone Trail, so we were looking forward to trying the one on Kildaire Farm. We sat at the bar, our preference when it's just the two of us. The service was great and the food (wings and chips) were very good. All was great until two very loud and apparently very drunk men entered the bar. It was apparent that they were regulars and the staff did nothing but encourage them as they dropped numerous F-bombs and were just generally obnoxious. As we left, my husband asked (very calmly) to speak with a manager. The young man (who had been very nice to us earlier in our visit) listened to our concerns and replied that that was what we should expect sitting at the bar. Memphis Mac: definitely appreciate the amount of pork in the dish, needs more cheese flavor to balance the pasta. Grilled wings: While "grilled" is technically correct, they are just fried traditional wings with grill marks. It seriously looks and tastes like they took a blowtorch to some normal wings. So basically, it's good for bar food but when you want good grilled wings look elsewhere. Except B dubs, that place is terrible. read more

My husband and I stopped in here while in town and had a wonderful experience. Late lunch, pimiento cheese app was delicious and we split the buffalo chicken pizza. The blue cheese base was to die for on the pizza, and they let us sub the mild sauce on the pizza for hot which was perfect. Meehi (sp?) The bartender was great... Good service and conversation! Definitely more of a beer joint as I am a wine drinker, but their house Pinot grigio was just right. Prices are very reasonable. Great non-chain restaurant experience!
