He said yes, but then immediately proceeded to serve the next customer. As I stood there holding my melting ice cream, I had to ask the other server to remind him about the topping. I had to wait until he finished helping the next person before he finally added it--mostly dumping it onto one side so it started dripping over, without offering a napkin or anything to clean it up. The ice cream itself was okay, but the service definitely left a lot to be desired.
