My friends and I stopped by for an early lunch for a group of 10, and thankfully we were seated quickly. We only had to wait until the 8th person came in to get fully seated, which was nice. Our server was fantastic and made sure to check up on us frequently while also making sure to separate checks. Once everyone arrived and had time to look through our menus, she quickly took everybody's orders. Our food came out very fast, and it was so delicious! I had the patty melt, and the bread perfectly paired with the patty. The fries were also nice and crisp with a soft and warm inside. They were such a great match! Everyone else's meals looked great as well, and it seemed like everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. I'll definitely be back another time for breakfast to try more items on their menu!

This place was really good. It's a small place but it has plenty of seating. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast all day and entrees after 2pm. They're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and it was soooo good. The sauce was very tasty. The chicken was cooked well. I do wish there was some more tomato and broccoli to it tho. But all in all, I would definitely come back to try other food they have.

We were in town early Sunday morning for the off Road Swap Meet at Soboba Casino. Yepped the area for best Breakfast near our location. So we gave it a try. YES, 5 stars for the following. Greeted us at the door and asked booth or regular table. We sat dawn and a second employee gave us menus and our drinks. A few minutes later a 3rd employee took our order. All fast and very courteous. Food came out to our table in less than 5 minutes. ( See photos of our exceptional plates). Waitress stopped back to top off our drinks and how the breakfast was. Expect a very clean restaurant with plenty of staff to serve and maintain it. Eazy 5 star experience. Highly recommend.

Back at it for some more sandwiches. Staff is always pretty attentive and the food arrives pretty fast. Gets busy, so there's that. The food itself. I've had multiple different sandwiches there. And I might skip the Ortega sandwich that I had this past time, a bit salty and not flavored. The foods okay; your typical diner type food. about $16 bucks a sandwich.. I'd probably suggest going with the Philly that you can dip into sauce instead of this Ortega. The fries are your typical fries now. a lot of flavor. Make sure to pour some salt and pepper on them. Clientele definitely leans towards. the higher in age crowd.

Been a customer for the past couple years. Almost always great service and good food at a good price. Went tonight and what was 24 dollars last week is now 30.15. The portions are smaller, and the food quality was uncharacteristically bad for Abby's. The short waitress immediately presented a less than professional attitude, and was immediately frustrated with basic math. Price increases to stay in business are understandable. Unprofessional staff and a decrease in portion and quality are not. Before tonight, I'd have recommended Abby's to anybody.... Now not so much. read more

An average menu, nothing special. I used to frequently order takeout during the "reduced seating" (which never happened here). It was convenient & "support your local restaurants during this time..." right? Well, as soon as they moved into their much bigger place they started refusing ALL takeout orders. Like I said, nothing special; your average, run of the mill diner. Nice way to treat the people that supported you by patronizing your establishment.! read more

My family and I moved to San Jacinto a year ago and Abby's cafe is about 5 minutes away. We love having breakfast there. The staff is always friendly the servers are always coming around making sure we have everything we need and refilling our coffee. They are always busy but we never wait more than 15 minutes and even then it is worth the wait. read more

BUSY! Went last week, during mid week for B'fast. We're told 10 min. wait though there were empty tables. Waited less then 5mins, guess the '10' is the standard reply from the hostess. Good , clear menu. Wide variety selection of edibles. Pictures pretty much mirror what you get. Good attentive service for as busy as they are. Coffee could be better, too weak. Indoor dining was nice, service was awesome my coffee never got low very attentive. I got the banana walnut French toast and it was delicious best French toast for sure . My husband got the chilaquiles it was okay . Hash browns were cooked perfectly definitely going to make this our go to breakfast place in Hemet . read more

When I went yesterday walked in the lobby was very dirty no waitress to be found when I heard someone scream to sit down where ever I want it was the waitress there was also a guy with glasses with. Black shirt too loud busting jokes one of the cooks you can see coughing inside it took the waitress to give us a menu like 9 to 10 minutes very understaffed u should say I usually come here all the time an when I am here the people here are awsome but yesterday they lack on it specially the guy in the black shirt if he was a manager he needs to be retrain it is not right the young girl doing everything. read more

The food has never been the problem with Abby's, it's always great. My last 1 star review was because of the person answering the phone. We ordered our food over the phone, and who ever was working on Saturday evening, couldn't have been nicer. She got the order correct, and everything was yummy. My family's favorite meal hands down is Abby's Chicken Fried Steak! Made fresh to order. They had Chicken Noodle Soup that night, so we ordered that too, also delicious. Another thing that I was happy to see, is that they have NOT raised their prices like all the other Restaurants and Fast Food places have. So kudos to them. read more

Another yelp favorite for me never been here before had a fantastic time. I asked Katie our server which she recommended and I gave her some choices and she suggested the chicken fried steak. My friend had the turkey bacon with fruit salad both of us loved our meal. Love this place. My parents moved to Hemet and found this place. They are now locals here. My mom brought me for breakfast and now I'm hooked. This is a gem in Hemet. My mom says its packed on Sunday, so if you're going to check it our this day, get there early. The food is delicious and the prices great, The ambiance is that of your local neighbor hood diner, where everybody knows your name and there always glad you came. I not only love their breakfast the hamburgers are to die for, The meat is so fresh and melts in your mouth. I didn't even mention the pancakes, OMG. Can you tell I really love this place. To all the servers there keep up the good work, you guys For all you Liver and Onion kind of people, they serve it here and my Mom says its the best. So if you're ever in Hemet, Ca, and want a good breakfast, lunch or dinner I strongly suggest trying Abby Café. read more

Wow!, Amazed how great the food here and service. I've been here a couple times, then we just forget about it after a while. So we came back and like I said, just amazing. Anyways, so what I got was an Rachero Omelette and It was really good. The egg was perfectly cooked and it had a good balanced, but I didnt taste the chorizo?. It had more of an pork and ground beef taste to it. It also came with spinach, tomatoes, avocado on top, hash browns and Mexican sauce . Great quality food and very good. Ben and Kelly wanted to create a place that families and locals could come and enjoy breakfast. After finding a suitable location in the East end of town, they completely renovated the space to be clean, bright and inviting. Business slowly progressed and expanded hours and Dinner options were added after the first year. After 6 years in Hemet, an opportunity to create a second Abby's Cafe presented itself in Yucaipa. Ben and Kelly jumped at the opportunity to mirror the operation after the first restaurant, focusing on a clean and friendly place that people can visit several times a week.

Stop in the other day. I have been a few tines for dinner. I have always heard great things and have enjoyed the food always. The service has always been great. But for what ever reason when was there last I couldn't help but hear what I think was the owner yelling and putting down his staff. I went for breakfast the other day also and a waitress named Kelly was just very rude. Like was dirty from work and seemed like she wanted nothing to do with me. Thinking I was s bum of something idk. The dinner service has always been great. I try to not get the male server. Young kid. Kinda out of it. But the 3 girls/ women I have had are awesome. A Becky I think and a long haired gal. And can't remember the other one. But the owner guy just being able to hear him yell and out down his crew not cool. And the break fast lady I guess i will clean up better or try and avoid her all together. But food is great and great prices. To the owner if your reading this people can hear. That's the only reason I'm giving a one star was the breakfast lady and the owner guy. Other than that please try place. Super clean. Place. Great food good pricing. Just dress nice lol. read more

My husband and I eat at Abby's most Sunday mornings for breakfast. Most importantly, they open on time...you can not imagine the number of restaurants that do not take their business opening time seriously. If I arrive at 6am...coffee is hot and waiting! The staff is friendly and engaging and the restaurant is always clean! We have tried numerous breakfast menu items between the two of us and have never been disappointed. Living on the East end of town, we are limited in our local eateries but Abby's always has quite a crowd. We usually run into at least 15 others we know on a Sunday morning...that's a pretty good number. We looked at this location previously for our own business but thought it may have a location problem, but Abby's proves if you provide good food and a good atmosphere...you will be successful! read more

Not good at all, I was eating there for the first time today when I overheard the manager Kelly (the server said that was her name) the manager or owner of this establishment was extremely harsh on a disabled customer who had been waiting to be seated with his family, end result was she asked him to leave and that she was not going to serve him and his family this is unacceptable for someone who is disabled and this Kelly lady was extremely rude and to top it all off my food was barely warm and the biscuits and gravy were hard as rocks. Please do not give this restaurant your money. Especially after treating disabled people with no respect what so ever. read more

Making threats to us that she was going to call the sheriff as if we were doing something wrong when she was the ONLY one in the wrong.. What happened to customer service.. but only because we are hispanics!! Abby's Café in Hemet is a gem! It's a classic diner with really awesome food. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and the people who work there are super friendly and welcoming. You really feel at home when you dine here. The location is new, so everything is fresh, clean, and well-maintained. It has a cozy and inviting vibe, making it a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Abbys was amazingly delicious. I highly recommend it if your in town to stop by and try there corned beef hash, and walnut french toast. My brother in law that came back from a tour in Afghanistan was surprised that they had corned beef hash on the menu, he said you don't find this dish in country. Overall everything was amazing fresh clean atmosphere the waitress was on point and the cooks had our food out within minutes and served hot and fresh. read more

Not a good place to eat the hostesses are rude and rolling their eyes that's been twice that I've gone to this restaurant and food is so oily and very sloppy all around. Cold soup and you ask for the manager and some lady said to be the owner has a bad attitude towards complaints about her restaurant but it's the truth horrible place. Another one of my favorite spots to eat lunch! We have to go here at least once, probably twice, a week for lunch! They have a great menu and their honey mustard dressing is the best! (They changed it one week and we were sad, so they changed it back). The owner and all the waiters are friendly and always accommodating! Even when we have a large group and they are real busy!
