The first time we visited Abby's was in San Rafael, in 1974, hubby remembers that, I don't and I'm usually the one who remembers MORE than him. The long wooden benches have been replace with modern composite, but the benches are still there, meaning the tables. We didn't remember the pizza from back then. But the pizza we ordered today, was a 16" Hawaiian with Canadian Bacon have very thin crust. The pizza tasted good. Filled with pineapples and covered with bacon. The Greek salad, on the side that we ordered, with Italian Dressing was very very good, compared that with the Olive Garden, which was full of sliced olives and large sections of Artichokes & tomatoes slices even cherry tomatoes thrown into the salad, was a surprise. We did have to ask for plates, for and utensils for our food, though. The restroom could do some improvement. The fire by our bench, was warm, cozy & inviting. I only gave them 4 stars because their pizza is hit or miss. Sometimes the crust on the bottom of the pizza is burnt. The salad bar is hit or miss. The front register staff are professional and they almost always have great service. The lobby is quite packed sometimes. You can throw birthday parties there and they even has a few arcade games. They sell beer too. I do recommend Abby's pizzas read more

Good pizza. Great crust. But the price is insane. Should cost 50%-75% less. Just do it at home. Or buy Dominos for $10.

we stopped by a half hour before closing and were the only ones there...it was obvious they were getting ready to go home for the evening. I asked if it was too late to order a pie and was told " nope, not a problem". our pizza was delicious and didnt feel any pressure to hurry our meal as the staff prepared to close around us. no dirty looks or anything. all in all a great experience. Last time we go to Abbys pizza. Three times in a row pizza not what was ordered. Not very clean inside. Last pizza was no better than frozen pizza from the grocery store. Paid $50.00 for a pizza that's going in the trash. Definitely needs new management and a new cleaning crew. And they still want a tip. There are better places to go for pizza. read more

We have been to many Abby's pizza locations and have always been happy. Not this time; every table we looked at was dirty and we had to clean off our own table....despite at least 5 or 6 employees in the place. We ordered the Hawaiian ( ham and pineapple) and it was not cooked well. The pineapple seemed to have been added after it came out of the oven, it was not cooked into the pizza. The pizza was not well cooked, just warmed enough to make a crust. I would not go to this location again but will continue to visit other locations. I have been here before and it was good. Went there and ordered a pizza to go and waited almost an hour..there little or no crowd in the restuarant. I ordered a medium pizza 1/2 taco pizza and the other half a supreme ....when I got home the supreme side of the pizza was undercooked and not even edible...the other half raw....I live 30 minutes away and trusted they could make a consistent qualify pizza...very dissappointed ....We couldn't even eat it and thru it out. read more

With the only pizza place in town, we gave it a shot. We ordered a 16" Taco Pizza. Cheese, Ground Beef, Black Olives, a ton of lettuce and with quarter slices of tomato on top. Thin crust was very crispy. Overall it was missing something, taste was so-so. Maybe a light layer of salsa, something. Plenty of seating inside, they have a salad bar, but looked depleted. Abby's use to be our family's go to when I was younger. We absolutely loved the Taco Pizza and the Supreme. Now since I been back I noticed the prices went up and the quality went down. The last time my daughter and I went in to sit down and eat the lady manager and the guy making the pizza we're talking about the other patrons and how much their job sucked. "Ummm, excuse me can I just order my over priced burnt pizza?" The salad bar is always empty and not cleaned off and the quality of the chicken and Jo Jo's are very deep fried until they literally they feel like jerky. I am a regular customer at the Junction City Abbys - I live four blocks from it. Their prices are good, their food is terrific, and I have a regular online pizza order. When I went to pick it up, the manager, his name was Jake, determined that everything went through except the actual making of my pizza! He apologized for the error, snd while I waited for my pizza I was afforded a complementary beverage. Nice thing to do. And when my pizza was ready, as manager, he brought my pizza out and personally gave it to me. Abbys is a great place, they make really good food and they're all very nice there. They gave me the worst heart burn I've ever had in my entire life. I'm not prone to heart burn and had no idea what was happening at first. If I order again I'll ask for about 1/4 the pepperoni because they literally carpet the pizza with it, the pizza I got had a solid "floor" of pepperoni. I was new in town and had no idea that was their gig (I ordered by phone). I didn't have a lot of money since I just bought a house and was super happy to splurge on a pizza that I was going to have a few slices that night and was looking forward to the cold pizza lunch and dinner the next day. I had roughly 25% of a 16" pie over the course of the night and then stood around the house (hurt too much to sit or lay down) until around 3am when I was able to be okay enough to lay down and sleep. Hurt too much to drive the store for heart burn meds. Their pizza is good but if you are even remotely sensitive (I've had HB maybe half a dozen times in 41 years and eat everything) be careful with their pepperoni load. Went back in yesterday to see what's new and we were very satisfied! Looks like they have changed up the staff a bit. Everyone there was awesome. Very courteous, had our pizza done perfect. Salad bar was in disarray due to the evening rush, but one of the ladies was quick to restock the things it needed. Side note: Their white sauce is now made at the HQ in Eugene in packets and is nowhere near as good as the stuff they used to make in-house. This was very disappointing. We ordered pizza, chicken and Cuban sandwiches for delivery. The poor boy pizza did not have the tomatoes on it. The chicken and spuds were over cooked to the point the chicken was dry and the spuds were rock hard and empty in the middle. The Cuban sandwiches had the meat a little mustard and zero lettuce or tomato on them but they put the lettuce and tomato in another container. I guess if you want to order take out the you have to make and it to be over cooked it might be a great place. We will never order from them again. read more

I over heard Nick talking about inappropriate things to another co worker who I did not get the name of. She had told him to stop and he told her it was a joke. This shouldn't be taken lightly. So yesterday I went to Abby's for my lunch break and got a salad to go. Got back to work and when I opened the salad box there was a medium length straight black HAIR in my salad. I was so grossed out! I went to throw it away and then before I could close the box to toss it, I found an eyelash hair! Freaking SICK. I called them and the lady on the phone told me I could come back and get another salad! Eww. I told her I only had a 30 min lunch break and I wouldn't be able to come back, nor did I want another HAIR SALAD. She told me she would have a manager call me back which never happened. We were a party of 10. Pizza was good. We ordered 9 fountain drinks and found there was no carbonation in the soda. The employees were attempting to resolve the situation however our pizza was ready and we still had syrup for drinks. I finally suggested they give us the 2 liter bottles they sell for take out. I paid 22.05 for the 9 fountain drinks and got 3 bottles of soda. Not at all happy with their resolution of the soda issue. Most expensive ($7.35 each) 2 liter bottles I've ever purchased! read more

i have gone to abby's for years.... i met up with the family to have dinner and upon the pizza landing with the dinner plates a maggot was found crawling across the table as we bagan eating. we notified the first employee we could find and they cleaned the maggot and asked if we still wanted t eat and if we wanted a refund. we took the money and left due too lack of concern as to where the maggot came from. the table were clean when we sat down. the maggot appeared after items came from the kitchen. but abby's did not seem to care to lacate the rpoblem. never will i be able to eat abbys again... if i could upload images i would. read more

We are new to the area, and heard good things about this pizza place. But I guess I should have checked the Yelp! reviews first. The pizza was not that good at all, and super expensive. $30 for a large 16 piece pizza?? I don't care how many toppings you put on it. That is way too much money. And when we got there, their sign had a better looking pizza with more toppings for around $16. We weren't even offered that pizza over the phone. The sauce was meh, too many olives compared to the other toppings, and we all had bad gas and stomach issues the rest of the night. We will not be returning to Abby's again. No thanks! read more
