The salad bar is delicious! They have real Ranch dressing. We go in quite often to eat the salad bar for lunch. It's a very fair price at $5.50 for a one-time- through salad. We have done dine-in 2 times and carryout 2 times. First 2 times was great. 1st takeout order had Toppings i asked to leave off, still was okay but not what we ordered. This last Sat we ordered a Large sausage and pepperoni, should be easy. Got half way home and my bf wanted a slice, I open the box... its Def not our pizza order. It was maybe a medium, pepperoni only, crust was raw dough on the inside (at first we thought it was cheese stuffed but figured it out when we got home that it was under cooked). I think the sad part is it tasted like frozen dough that was freezer burned and it also tasted oddly similar to a Costco pizza. We paid 30$+tip. Waste of time and money. A Gem in the Rough! Don't let the outside fill you. We came in here and the salad bar is small, but it is absolutely delicious and there's a lot of it for $5.50. My wife and I shared a small 8 inch pizza which is very unusual for us. But it was loaded. The pepperonis were large and plentiful. And the taste was delicious. The food was cooked perfectly. The service was fast and efficientand it's a it's a nice home atmosphere. So I recommend all star pizza ID here frequently if I lived in this town. read more

Local pizza parlor that is not a chain restaurant, there is a plethora of options to choose from here. With the ability to order your pizza on a thin crust or regular or for those who need it a gluten free option as well, you can get several different options here. You also have an option for an all you can eat salad bar and calzones. There are a few local brews on tap the you can choose as well as a few bottle selections, and of course sodas as well. The interior of the establishment is a sports bar/pizza joint kind of place. With jerseys on the wall and local sponsorships of different sporting events you get a real local flavor. Plenty of parking is available behind the store. With some street parking in the front as well. They do have a secondary side room which can be rented out for larger gatherings or birthday parties if you wish. Of course for any place these days you have your hidden lottery spending place where you can play the video slots and poker machines to your hearts content. To begin with, it took three times to get through over the phone. Busy. Busy. Busy. When I finally got through I was able to place my order. They said it would be about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I arrived. I went up to the counter and no one acknowledged me. No one said hello. Can I help you? Hi!. We'll be right with you. After awhile I sat down on the edge of a booth, looking towards the counter. Still no recognition. I was like a ghost. There was just one guy in the dining area, having a beer. The guy making the pizzas was wearing a sleeveless"wife beater" shirt. Not very hygienic or sanitary. GREAT PIZZA!!! GREAT SERVICE!!! HONEST PERSONELL!!! We were up gold mining the Quartsville corridor and just BEAT!!! Decided we'd take our chances on a pizza in town, rather than cook anything... Which proved to be a GREAT CHOICE!!! We ordered an XL meat lovers pizza (for 3 guys). When it got to the table, it was LOADED with meat!!! The crust was CRISP, and the edges rolled to contain the abundance of protein stuffed on top... The fact the crust was crisp showed they use QUALITY MEATS rather than cheap GREASY products... Tucked in a little store front so it's a little short on ambiance, but the staff is friendly and the pies are tasty, reasonably priced and made it to the table quickly. Small town pizza parlor and surprise, it wasn't bad at all. Each if the pizzas that I sampled was good; my favorite that I tried being a pie with bacon, green pepper, and pepperoni. Me and the wife went for the first time and we just wanted All You Can Eat Salad Bar and some Soda's. Good friendly service and the salad bar was fair. Everything seemed fresh and tasty. Crunchy crisp salad as well as the veggies. Went back 3 times. There selection of dressing was around 5 different types of flavors. The raspberry vinaigrette was very good and the blue cheese was awesome. Chunks of blue cheese, just how I like it. Next time we will try the Pizza. read more

Went in based on a word of mouth recommendation, guy said he lived in New York and knows pizza... he sure didn't know what flavor or quality meat is. Got a meat lovers and was immediately bummed when I saw they used the frozen mystery meat sausage and beef, gross! Why not fresh? Why not real beef? Probably pink slime in that stuff they are using! Then the country bacon they apparently are very proud (what stayed on the pizza) as it is on all the specialty pizzas didn't even taste like bacon, and here is the kicker and why I'm even wasting time to review them is when we asked for our money back and they can keep the pizza the answer was no I'm sorry how bout a coupon? After living in Sweet Home for eighteen years, I have had the chance to try all of three places that serve pizza in Sweet Home. These three consist of Figaro's, Spoleto's, and All-Star Pizza. Being a small town, and not having very many options, Sweet Home has pretty good pizza all around. Each one of the pizza places has their own style and taste. Although I like them all, I would have to say my favorite of the three is All-Star Pizza. PRICE: Now let's talk numbers, since that is a big factor for most people. This is the down fall for All-Star; being it that it is the most expensive pizza place in town. The prices of course vary for the type of pizza you get, but a giant 18" pizza is anywhere from $19-$26. This is slightly more than both Spoleto's, which is around $18-$24 for an x-large, and Figaro's x-large priced at anywhere from $17-$22. At All-Star you can get a refillable fountain drink for $2 and there beer But I think you will find it is well worth it paying a little extra for good pizza. SERVICE: The service here is great. The employees are very friendly, however, they are usual busy. Even though they are usually busy, that does not affect the speed of their service. They also offer take-out, drop-in, and delivery, which is fast. On delivery they charge an additional fee of $2. I would say the overall service here is great, far better than Figaro's, though you don't interact with the employees very much; they just take your order, and then get anything additional you ask for. But this is okay, some people prefer it that way! ATMOSPHERE: This is one of the best aspects of this place. The dark interior gives it a cool industrial, comfy, den type look. It is a sporty place with labels/logos on the tables, jerseys on the walls, and TV's constantly playing various sports channels. The restaurant itself isn't huge but, not to small either. There are many places to sit with booths against the walls and tables on the inner part of the dining area. The restaurant provides, a private dining area; which is a little smaller than the main area so, large groups can gather there. It also provides play areas for the kids and for the adults. By this I mean there are arcade games for the kids, and in the back a closed off section for slot machines and video poker for adults. Among this, the place is very clean, update, and professional. It has a far better facility than any other pizza place in town because, Figaro's doesn't facilitate and Spoleto's is a little old and rundown. I would highly recommend staying and eating at All-Star. It is a cool atmosphere and great for the whole family. FOOD: All-Star offers many things besides pizza. You can have your choice of wings, rib tips, chicken bites, bread sticks, calzones, a salad bar and many other things if you don't prefer pizza. As far as drinks, they have Pepsi product fountain drinks and four beers on tap with many craft beers in a bottle. On their menu, they offer fifteen different pizzas along with a weekly special. I recommend the Vig, BBQ chicken, and the Valley Girls pizzas. Their pizzas have plenty of pizza sauce on them and are always loaded with toppings. The dough and crust are pretty good but nothing special. Despite the overall great taste of the pizza, most of the toppings are from a can and not fresh produce. This is the big advantage Spoleto's pizza has over All-Star's; being it that it is fresh, handmade, and locally grown ingredients. All the same, I would still say the taste of All-Star's pizza is better. LOCATION: Location is a big part of business. With Spoleto's being far away from the epicenter of town, it hurts their business. Figaro's, being located on main street, there are not very many places to park. This makes All-Star have the best location out of the three. Although, it does not get as noticed as Figaro's, it is on the second busiest street in Sweet Home. Furthermore, it has parking spaces out front along the curb and a lot behind the building. I think you will find that All-Star is easy to access read more
