Passing through Oregon and we kept seeing the Abby's Legendary Pizza places, so we decided to try one. Thankfully the info online is all wrong and they were open til 10pm as we got in across the street around 9:30. Cody (W? I think his last name started with) was super friendly and helpful. He got our order going quick and was offering up info about the surrounding area for us. I felt super bad I didn't have more tip money as he is a great friendly employee. Pizza seemed a bit pricey at first, but upon seeing it and tasting it, definitely worth it. The dough is almost like a focaccia it seems, different from other pizza joints. Coming home form last year's Oregon Sectional pistol match, we stopped by a gas station in Medford to fill up and saw Abby's Legendary Pizza nearby. I showed it to my daughter who's name is Also Abby and said: "Abby, next year you come with me so we can eat at your legendary pizza place". Well its 2021. Oregon Sectional just passed I did fulfill my promise and ate at Abby's Legendary Pizza. This time around, in Klamath Falls, as this year's match is held here. The whole family including my shooting buddies tagged along for a feast after a grueling match. ALP feels like an old school pizza parlor which I liked. Kids will always be kids: they ordered their usual cheese pizza. For the adults though, we tried half of Abby's Special and half of Roasted Garlic Chicken. I added a side of Spinach Salad for good measure. Boy, that salad was indeed satisfying! Huge chucks of bacon and tomatoes accompanied my greens, setting up for what seems to be and good meal ahead. The Abby's Special was very good! A perfect harmony of multiple meats with olives and mushrooms. The Roasted Garlic Chicken did not disappoint as well. What really sets this pizza up is its wonderful crust. It seems that your are served with a thick crust pizza when seeing the edges but in fact it is much closer to a thin crust, which really is where its at. And despite a behemoth of toppings, the crust remained crispy underneath, kudos Abby's Legendary Pizza! Well what an amazing surprise after driving 12 hours! Told my husband I wanted pizza and he looked online and found this great place! Bustling with locals so you know it will be good! Normal pizza atmosphere, arcades, circular fire, families, pitchers of beer and a salad bar. Super efficient staff, organized, friendly and courteous. The pizza was the best I think I have ever had! We ordered the Ultimate Meat. Perfectly done! Loaded with toppings! Perfect crust! I had never heard of Abby's but then I see they are in many locations. Usually abbeys food is pretty good but tonight it wasnt the best. We ordered a large pizza 8 piece chicken n spuds. I opened the chicken but only saw spuds. Now i know why...the chicken was hidden underneath...burnt, raw n extra greasy...yuck. called abbys n young girl apologized and said she would take the chicken off our ticket.i took pictures and explained we lived 30 miles away..it was nice to apologize and take it iof our ticket..but i would've liked to eat it. Best Abby's pizza in Oregon, hands down. I called ahead to let them know our baseball team of 35 was coming after the game, giving them about 20 to prepare for that amount of people. When we arrived, it was a well-oiled machine. Orders were taken quickly and courteously, the pizzas came out perfectly and fast, the salad bar was well-stocked and replenished, and the adult beverages were varied and delicious. We ordered a Hawaiian with gluten free crust, and it was really good. It did not get soggy or chewy at all. The other pizzas the team ordered were beautiful as well, not a burned crust or undercooked pizza In site. Most of all, with 17 children among us it gets a bit loud, but no employee gave them a dirty look; they seemed genuinely happy that we were there. Well done Abby's staff. Family stayed at the Shilo Inn across the street. Went here for dinner after a 6 hour drive from California. Reminded me of a local pizzeria from home, similar restaurant set up, décor and even pizza style! We ordered a large thin crust pizza - half pepperoni, half BBQ chicken with pineapple. A lot of toppings, could have used a little more cheese to help hold it together. All in all it was delicious. Nothing gourmet, but hit the spot.
