Ya know, as a former Oregonian, Abby's always held a special place in my heart. I mean, look at their name, it's right there, "Legendary." However, as we all know, legends are generally created with a lot of embellishing. They're usually bigger and better in our memories than they are in reality. Unfortunately, this was quite evident with their pizza too. We ordered the timeless classic Taco Pizza. It was delivered, and I'm going to assume (yes I know the risk in that), that it's presented differently when being delivered rather than in person. All the toppings were placed in a separate container to remain as fresh as possible. In theory, this is probably a good way of going about it. However, it was just off. Great Expectations, as Dickens superbly points out, only leads to great disappointments. It was your average run of the mill pizza. It paled in comparison to my memories, and frankly, it was extremely high priced. Two large pizzas should not cost you 60 bucks. That's with delivery fees, and a 2-liter soda, mind you, but 60 bucks? Really? Does Abbey's believe their own hype? Folks, decide for yourself, but Little Cesars can knock out a pizza nearly as good as Abby's at a fraction of the cost. This used to be a family staple!!! I have moved to where there is no Abby's, but 2 pizzas and some spuds for 70 bucks!!!! And then on top of it they wanted to CHARGE $.25 per packet of ranch!!!! I guess it's fine I don't have one where I live. I won't be back to Abby's it's just TOO expensive and the quality of the ranch still isn't what it once was. Ordered delivery. Came quickly. That's the best part. The wings were inedible- gummy fatty skin. Immediately lost my appetite. Salad was basic but had a rotten tomato that mushed mold into the adjacent lettuce. Pizza was overcooked, chewy, and bland. My kids (who love pizza) wouldn't eat more than a slice. Abbys was recommended by Klamath Falls natives we were visiting after another establishment I found on yelp was closed on Mondays!! Damn you Covid! After spending the day at Crater Lake it was 5pm and my family was HANGRY! My parents and I were totally surprised when we came here and ate their pizza! Ordered the Greek Vegetarian with Canadian Bacon pan style and Garlic Knots that Jimena are server said was a hit with their clientele. Because of Covid, there was special precautions in place to keep us safe: social distancing with tables, masks, and other protective measures were in place. For example, you could not pour your own drinks, an employee would pour you a drink from the soda fountain, or beer in either a plastic cup or a foam one. With refills, you had to get a new cup and straw,lid every time! No reusing anything! They were busy with phone orders and customers. I choose to sit on the other side of the resturant that was empty with my family and was really stoked with their pizza! The artichokes and feta cheese on our pizza were amazing!!! Win win! Now the not so good: Garlic Knots. It was bland, not cooked well, chewy, and had no taste. It could have been doused with garlic and cooked better. The marinara sauce is came with didn't help, what did help was adding ranch dressing dipping sauce to make it slightly edible. Next time I pass! The roasted garlic chicken pizza was fantastic! I really like the ranch dipping sauce and the generous amounts of parmesan cheese and red peppers on the side. The mushrooms are exactly the way I love them. Very fresh, sliced thin and piled high! This has happened 3 times for me and friends there. The people I go there with have been horrified to find your pizzamakers not wearing gloves, and they shed! The dang hair is under the cheese. Then, you remake the food. And we have to hover up on the kid'sstoop to make sure that your sickly staff does not cough or sneeze in your food! Put on some damn hairnets already!Put on some gloves! In recent years I have grown to NOT be an Abby's fan. I don't particularly care for their cracker-type crusts anymore, their sauce seems to have changed, etc, and it all has a sort of chain-style taste and vibe. That said, if you ARE an Abby's fan, this location is great (better than Campus, in my opinion). My son had his t-ball gathering here today, and we came right after their game ended, 10:45. They don't technically open until 11, but the manager let the kids in, got their pizzas going, and even gave each one a balloon while they waited. The service was great, and it has been every time we've been. (Which is every few months or so, depending on what birthday or family gathering someone chooses to hold there.) If I liked their pizza better I would've given 5 stars; I guess it's a matter of personal taste! The prices are very steep also, which keeps us from choosing to go there by choice. I bought the little guy a mini 7" Hawaiian pizza, which was under $6. He loved it. :) read more

Hubby and I werent feelin' so hot the first part of the day, so when our appetite came back strong, we decided to order over half the menu. 4 different pizzas, cheesy garlic breadsticks, a salad, the wings, the spuds, and a steak sandwich. 80 bucks on food... and Every single solitary last item was disgusting. I requested no olives on all the pizzas... they all had olives on them. (And A LOT). But despite that... just garbage food. Garbage quality. Disgusting. I ordered one small pizza and a large spud from the location 1.5 miles from my home st 3:15pm on a Wednesday. It took well over an hour to receive my delivery. I finally called the location to ensure that they had actually gotten my order and confirmed that I'd ordered it from the correct location. At 3:45 They said the driver was on their way with our delivery. So, it took them over a half hour to drive less than 2 miles in town? I don't think so. I gave Abby's a chance and they utterly failed. I'll be choosing my usual pizza delivery places from now on. I ordered the Abby's Special thick crust (sausage, salami, beef, and pepperoni, with mushroom and olives), and it was the perfect combination. The crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside; with a dip of ranch sauce even people who don't eat crust would enjoy it. The sauce was light and did not overwhelm other ingredients.
