I don't drink as much as I did in my younger days, but I do occasionally have a sip, i still cook with wine and I do still buy alcohol as gifts for friends. I picked up a bottle of wine for myself and 2 bottles for a friend, as well as some whiskey for another friend. I didn't have to ask for help, someone approached and offered. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She was busy doing other stuff but went out of her way to help me, and she saved me time. It didn't surprise me at all as I've had so many pleasurable experiences at ABC. There were delays at the register though. One customer had left something on the counter and the one cashier seemed to be waiting for her. Eventually I just set my bottles down and did some more shopping around. When I came back with another bottle there was another brief delay. It wasn't crowded, so I understand them having only one cashier at the time but it was noticeable since I purchased several bottles. It didn't take away from the total experience but it was something. Im sure I'll be back. ABC is my favorite place to purchase wine and liquor because of the service. There's another place around that "totally" has good service also, but they don't top ABC, in my opinion. Oh, and I finally got a nice reward with my purchase. I think I've been a member of the rewards program for almost 10 years, but they seem a little stingy with the rewards. LOL I'll be back soon to take advantage. read more

I am always so appreciative of the employees here who help me find the best selection of whatever I'm looking for. They truly are knowledgeable on their alcohol and if it's not a spirit or wine they personally consume, they will find another employee who is super familiar with what you are looking for to speak to the flavor profiles or the brand. I was looking for a bourbon and I do not drink bourbon so I'm shopping blind here. The employee asked me what types of bourbon the consumer typically drinks and I was able to point to a few bottles and based on that they were able to recommend a bottle in my price range. I've shopped at a lot of Liquor stores and ABC stores (not that I drink a lot) and out of all of them - this store ranks among the top. I felt that way even before attending a tasting event last night. The store has an incredible variety of wines of all colors, qualities and price points. There's a craft beer section which features Florida brewers and many from outside the state. The cigar and liquor sections go on for days! Their prices are the same or better than most supermarket sale prices. ... and now to the tasting. I was pleasantly surprised to see samples of so many bottles of bubbly as well as reds and whites, and a humble cheese and cracker plate ... but, the best part was the employees. I am a local. Very disinterested staff. The Check out system is not user friendly. Last time, yesterday, there I was charged twice for one bottle. The clerk was gone before I could review my receipt. Small selection of everything even fresh limes oranges and lemons. They offer a small selection of meats and cheeses. Appalling customer service. No response to calls and e-mails about a failed delivery. We have used them twice before and they "could not find our hotel." We gave them one last shot and the delivery was never made. We suggest you never ever ever patronize this establishment. They have zero understanding of customer service. Okay, so maybe I was a little excited because the building is two stories. (Don't judge, I'm still getting used to being 21!) Unfortunately, the store is only one floor, but it is a HUGE selection! It's the only place I've found (so far) that sells the Blue Kinky Vodka that I lalaLOVE! The store itself is always very clean. The wine selection is intimidating, with one bottle on display work $1500. (My College student budget fainted at the price, but in sure to a wine connoisseur it's about average). The beers are fun to browse, since a lot of them are locally brewed. The rum selection is top notch. You can even get cigars here? Dope. (Not actual dope. Please don't think you can buy drugs here.) They always have little gift sets too. Like a bucket (literally) of Fireball. Why someone would subject themselves to that is beyond me, but it's fun! Overall, great liquor store. Helpful staff. Every time I've ever come in they ask me during checkout if I'm a member of the rewards program. Funny though.. NOT ONE TIME when I said no.. did they ask me to sign up. Being in sales.. That's a bad move... not asking... if they say yes I will... But I shouldn't have to ask myself... so I've been going there maybe every few months since they opened a few years back and not until I went in last month and got a huge liquor stock pile for a party did I finally say... After the renovations this ABC is now S-W-E-E-T! I am not sure if they made it bigger on the inside or not, but it definitely feels like it. The store has a great selection and wide variety of wine, beer and liquor. They fill growlers now from a variety of craft beer that they have on tap. They even have a wine "tasting" machine where you can try the (cheaper) wine before you buy it. We have never had any issues with the staff here. They seem to be efficient and friendly enough. While Total Wine and More is still my favorite, this ABC is now a close 2nd. We will be back. TIP: With an ABC card, you can mix and match your 6 pack of 12oz beers and save 10% off the total. read more

It's 5PM on Thursday (today) with one cashier and two other employees - Fatboy with flat-top kind of hair and one short blondish female both pretending to do paperwork - this is while nine (9) people are in line with one cashier. I am blown away. About month ago, I stopped in and asked about a gluten free beer I had been looking for. Louis - the store's beer buyer - took down my name and the name of the product I was after. I got a call from Louis a few days later saying he couldn't get it. But ... several weeks later, Louis called again and said that he got the beer and put aside a case for me. This store always has everything that I am looking for and more. If they dont have the product on hand all I have to do is ask and they call me when it comes in and they usually try to carry it fully stocked. What more could you ask for? The customer service is always great there usually never a line so I'm in and out no problem. The store is not far from my place which also great. They also sell my brand of cigarettes so they have everything I need all in one store! I seriously recommend this store to anyone and everyone. This is one store I will never visit again. I went in with a print out from their online store of liquors I wanted to purchase for the holidays. I found some of the items but not all. So when I was ready to check out the prices were different. I explained the situation and even showed them the printout from their online store. They became very rude & nasty. And didn't want to honor the prices. They price match with other stores but won't honor their own prices that are online. I received discount on 2 bottles out of 6.
