The main dishes didn't stand out as much, but the vibes were great and leaned casual. I'd definitely come back for more frosé and that charcuterie board alone. The food here is always great. We love to go for their 3-6pm happy hour when you can enjoy amazing deals on select wines and beer. The small plates are so affordable that you don't feel guilty ordering a few. The sidewalk seating is lovely but can be hard to snag a table. If you arrive before 5 you might get lucky. Had this place on my list forever and finally went with my parents when they visited and it was beyond expectations. Inside is a little bit small so we sat outside which was lovely, but still loved the aesthetic of the inside. Our waitress was SUPER knowledgable about everything on the menu and overall very nice and funny. She helped us pick the best possible wines we wanted, bringing out samples and all, and even got a couple of us out of our comfort zones trying new things. We only got a couple things for the board and it still came out larger than expected, so the serving sizes are definitely substantial. The delice was divine, of course, and I think the other one we got was a cheddar. Can't go wrong with prosciutto and I think the other meat was the applewood smoked salame, also a classic. The toppings/sides they provide with the boards complemented everything gloriously. (I'm obsessed with pickled veggies and am kind of a jam snob and was impressed!) Lastly I can't let the PERFECTLY toasted baguette slices go unnoticed! Next time I went I split the happy hour special board with a friend and there was plenty of sweet salty goodness for both of us. We sat outside and we all split a massive charcuterie board, and then I ordered their French country salad (roasted asparagus, beets, arugula, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, lemon-dijon vinaigrette) and added smoked salmon. All the flavors together were perfect and I really loved my salad. An adorable French inspired bistro. I highly recommend trying the cheese and salami. I ordered the compte (a hard cheese from France) and salami rustica (from Italy). Very good quality, especially the cheese. It came on a little wooden board adorned with an edible orchid and pickles, jam, olives, banana peppers, almonds and other nuts. Wanted to include some price transparency on this review.... Definitely a more expensive night for two but totally worth it for a nice night out! First off, the staff alone was AMAZING! From the host to our waiter, they were so so kind and accommodating. We went here on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and wasn't aware of how packed it'd be. I'd definitely recommend securing one before you go. The staff allowed us to order drinks outside while we waited for a table. They provided thoughtful menu recommendations making sure we got all of the favorites. You really can't go wrong with anything from here, we loved everything we tried. For two, I'd recommend two cheeses and three meats. All of the extras (the pickles, nuts, jams, rosemary, olives, strawberries, and bread) are included in your board. I noticed that they have an AMAZING happy hour deal everyday 3PM - 6PM with wine less than $5 a glass. Definitely have to come back to try that. I live sooo close to Bacchus but made the mistake of never visiting until today. (Or maybe it wasn't a mistake, because now that I know how wonderful it is, I'm in trouble...) My husband and I sat outside with our dog, who got lots of pets and felt very comfortable in their outdoor seating. The inside also looked like it had a great ambiance, which we want to try next time. We were promptly greeted by our excellent server, who offered great wine and food recommendations, but wasn't pushy about it, just helpful. He even let me try two of the wines when I couldn't decide, which I very much appreciated. AMAZING charcuterie board, which you can build yourself. We went there just for this. The truffle cheese, aged gouda, duck prosciutto, and wild boar salami (plus accoutrements- fresh fruit, pickled veggies, jams, nuts, bread, etc.!) were incredible, and the red wines paired perfectly. To balance the meat and cheeses, we got an arugula, goat cheese (balance cheese with more cheese, right?), and asparagus salad, which was so fresh and bright. They pre-split it for us and out the dressing on the side. We both inhaled it, and my husband isn't one to priotize salad in a meal, so this speaks to the fantastic quality. We decided to stay for dinner. How could we not?! I guess it's hyperbole to say I died from the deliciousness of the parchment-wrapped grilled seabass, but until you come visit, you can't prove otherwise. I can't recommend it more, especially as someone who loves seafood. Oh, my husband's flatbread was also insane. In a very, very good way. (It's a flatbread, not a pizza, and should be judged as such. Trust me, you won't be craving pizza after trying this.) I wish we could fit dessert, but we have to come back to try more dishes, anyway! Don't hesitate.
