The food here is always great. We love to go for their 3-6pm happy hour when you can enjoy amazing deals on select wines and beer. The small plates are so affordable that you don't feel guilty ordering a few. The sidewalk seating is lovely but can be hard to snag a table. If you arrive before 5 you might get lucky. Seating inside is perfectly nice and casual. Service is friendly and they are forthcoming with getting a last call order before the hh deal is over.

Very affordable happy hour deal! Nice atmosphere to meet up with friends or go on a date. You can get charcuterie for one or for a huge group. The staff will help you pick a wine you'll like, there are lots of options for every taste.

Had this place on my list forever and finally went with my parents when they visited and it was beyond expectations. Inside is a little bit small so we sat outside which was lovely, but still loved the aesthetic of the inside. Our waitress was SUPER knowledgable about everything on the menu and overall very nice and funny. She helped us pick the best possible wines we wanted, bringing out samples and all, and even got a couple of us out of our comfort zones trying new things. We only got a couple things for the board and it still came out larger than expected, so the serving sizes are definitely substantial. The delice was divine, of course, and I think the other one we got was a cheddar. Can't go wrong with prosciutto and I think the other meat was the applewood smoked salame, also a classic. The toppings/sides they provide with the boards complemented everything gloriously. (I'm obsessed with pickled veggies and am kind of a jam snob and was impressed!) Lastly I can't let the PERFECTLY toasted baguette slices go unnoticed! Next time I went I split the happy hour special board with a friend and there was plenty of sweet salty goodness for both of us. I also wasn't in the mood for alcohol that night so I asked about mocktails and received a lovely summery sparking lemonade with raspberry sorbet? Sure? Impossible for that not to be delicious.

This is our go to when we are in downtown St. Petersburg!! The service is always outstanding and I love the ambiance. Popped in last night to escape the heat and enjoy some wine. Our server (Sunday) was magnificent in giving us her recommendations on wine choices. We wanted a light dinner so we went with a small board and I had the citrus salad. The salad was the perfect blend of greens, blood orange, pine nuts , and raspberries - delicious. Bacchus is always a romantic fun evening.

One of my favorite places to bring visitors! It is so fun to come here and get to choose what you want on your charcuterie board. Everyone I have brought here has raved about the food and experience. Do note they only sell wine- no liquor! Not too sure about beer. Will always keep coming here!!

I visited Bacchus Wine Bistro for happy hour on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I was so happy to find this place and it's happy hour with perfect outdoor seating for a nice day. We were seated immediately even though the place so slammed. Our server helped us order, making recommendations as we asked for assistance. We ordered wine and several happy hour dishes. This was a great value with great service and ambience.

Celebrated a friend's 30th at Bacchus and had the BEST experience from start to finish. We sat outside and we all split a massive charcuterie board, and then I ordered their French country salad (roasted asparagus, beets, arugula, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, lemon-dijon vinaigrette) and added smoked salmon. All the flavors together were perfect and I really loved my salad. As for the charcuterie -- not only was everything so delicious, but I couldn't stop talking about the orange marmalade our server went and grabbed an extra side of it to let me take it home. I even offered to buy a bottle of it if they sold! It was that good! Our server also killed an annoying bee for us, so I'm his biggest fan and I truly am so upset that I forgot his name :( Overall, an amazing first experience at Bacchus.

My good friends and I love Bacchus. Location food service quality. All excellent. We love their French onion soup so we all ordered it. And their trio of hummus is fresh and delish. They give you mounds of fresh bread too. Citrus salad was great and we split it. Philippe is the owner and his personal touch and staff makes this jewel a winner.

An adorable French inspired bistro. I highly recommend trying the cheese and salami. I ordered the compte (a hard cheese from France) and salami rustica (from Italy). Very good quality, especially the cheese. It came on a little wooden board adorned with an edible orchid and pickles, jam, olives, banana peppers, almonds and other nuts. With my cheese and salami came small slices of fresh baguette. Others in my party ordered the smoked salmon and it looked very good, and generous portions too.

They have an amazing Happy Hour from 3-6 everyday. Our server Sunday gave us a memorable experience! She was fast, prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back!

We came here for happy hour. I highly recommend doing that. They have great deals on wine, small plates and chef daily charcuterie specials. Everything here was great and it is the most adorable place. We did not have reservations. I will say that if you plan on coming for dinner or later at night you will need reservations it is definitely a popular spot.

Popped in while visiting Florida. First off, love the French theme in the place. It is a bit small to would say good for date nights or smaller groups. I started with a glass of wine (and our waiter was kind and attentive and answered all of our questions) and the pinot griggio was amazing. My friend and I got the French onion soup and it's the best I have had. I also got the ham sandwich with the side salad. Good and filling. These are the places I miss in dtsp since moving away. Highly recommend to visit.

Bacchus Wine Bistro on 2nd Ave N just a block off of Beach Dr is walking distance from all downtown hotels This is a lovely, French-inspired wine bar and bistro that offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere. A nice selection of wines from around the world, Bacchus provides a cozy space for dinner or just a drink in a relaxed setting.. The menu features French and Mediterranean dishes, including fresh cheeses made in house and charcuterie boards you can create with just the thing you like. Stopped in on the way home for a glass of wine and dessert. The chocolates were fine European chocolates and plated beautifully. Sat in one of the window seats which is perfect for some fun people watching! Service was excellent.

The fish meat tasted so fresh, and the chowder was also quite good. We bought four large stone crab claws, and a smoke mullet to take home. The stone crab meat was so fresh and sweet and the texture was perfect. Eating stone crab is my favorite thing to do living in Florida. The smoke mullet was impressive. The size was big and was cleaned properly. The meat was so fresh, juicy and soft with the special dry rub seasoning, it was so tasty! And the sweet mustard BBQ sauce added extra-bonus to the already winning smoke fish. The fresh fish plus the chef skills, made their food so irresistible. The employee and the pricing were both very friendly. The picnic area was clean and got this relaxing vibe. Couple parking spots were available. In the store, there were many fresh fish and shrimp options. I am glad that we have discovered this hidden seafood gem.
