My garage door opener unit finally gave up the ghost and needed to be replaced. I found this outfit with great reviews through the Next Door and Yelp apps. Clay, the owner, was phenomenal! Great response time, old school (for a young guy), personable, does not upsell, and firm believer in not fixing/replacing items that aren't broken. His prices are SUPER reasonable. I paid $540 for a brand new Chamberlain opener with install. His work comes with a 1 year labor warranty plus the 6 year manufacturer warranty that comes with unit which usually is an added cost with other outfits. Great quality work and was done in less than an hour. Clay, offers several pay options as well....even checks! Does anybody use checks, anymore?! Although, I will say this, if you run plastic, expect a 4% added charge for transaction fee which is still much cheaper with anybody else. To avoid, pay in cash, check, or possibly other apps through your bank. I did get quotes from two other places in which they both quoted me close to over $1,000 just to replace an opener with install which is just un-freaking-believeable in my opinion. I have Liberty Home Guard as my home warranty. Needless to say they SUCK! They dispatched my garage door opener to ABC Garage door and I was relieved as I have friends that used them before and were pleased. HOME WARRANTY company (LHG) never sent contact info to ABC so a week goes by and nothing. I called ABC myself and they had been ready to complete the job but LHG failed. Another week and a half go by and I finally get an opener sent to my home but they don't cover the installation (LHG). What?? I've never had a warranty company not cover installation but ok. All the while, over 2 weeks now ABC stayed in constant communication with me reminding me they were ready and sharing updates. Today, ABC came and installed the opener (which was wasn't even as good as the one being replaced, thanks LHG!) and I couldn't be happier. They close at 4pm but because Alicia, the awesome person that kept me sane through the process, has a heart and they know how the hell to run a business, made sure it was done today no matter what. It's 6pm and he just finished a little while ago. They didn't have to do this but because they are amazing, I have a working opener and didn't have to wait yet another week. I only wish I could give these people 100 stars. They are amazing. Sheila and Lloyd are the most wonderful people you can ever hope to meet. I told Sheila I was frantic because I'm having cancer surgery in 4 days and missed my pre-op appointment. It is critical that I did it today to get cleared for this very serious surgery. I called ABC when a spring broke on our garage door. The quoted me a price of 2 springs for $177.20 which after being quoted over $400 by another company was unbelievable. A tech named Loyde came by the following day and was extremely nice. I have 3 large dogs and he took it in stride which is a great first impression to me. He installed the springs (turns out we only had 1 when we should've had 2) efficently and came to get me to show me what he had done. The opener on the wall didn't work so he fixed that at no extra charge and explained how to reprogram my car remotes if they didn't work. He was incredible! From now on I won't bother calling anyone else to fix my garage. I can't imagine any better service with such resonable prices. Thank you ABC! You're awesome! read more

At our new house, I was in a hurry and ..... clipped the bottom of the door with the van! (Geez!) Being a fixer ;) I grabbed my vice grips and bent out the crinkle. The tiny trim wouldn't fit under the corner bracket so I loosened it a bit. If you don't know why the bracket bolts are painted red I'll tell you. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO REMOVE! I now know this. Luckily we didn't get hurt (whew, dodged a trip to the ER!). I called and talked to the owner who sent his son out that day. Same nice, young man who repaired our other door last year. Same great service! Fast, quick, professional and out the (garage) door for just over $50. My garage door broke about a week ago when I was not home. My wife called this company and the owner came out. The owner said we needed a new door that my door springs were shot. The owner notice that we had insulated doors and said we can do that. My wife said okay. So she ordered the doors by word of mouth, no paperwork! Well, he came and installed the doors and they are not insulated and they are the level 1 doors the manufacturer sells. Cheap! I asked to upgrade these doors and they said they would NOT give me a credit for these 1 day old doors. The doors I was able to look up, since they didn't show us anything we had to order blind, I asked for a quote and they came back with over 4600 dollars. Just so happens I had another top garage door company come out and they can do the same exact doors for under 3400! What a RIP OFF COMPANY! And they know I'm a 100 percent disabled veteran. read more

I've used this company twice and both times Clay came to the rescue! The first time I used this company, it was through a home warranty program. What really stood out to me was Clay's honesty in getting my garage door fixed. Other companies I've used through my home warranty program charge a flat rate of $75, even if they didn't do anything! But Clay said that fixing the wiring for my garage door didn't cost $75 and charged me appropriately. He also programmed my keypad for me and taught me how to do simple maintenance. The second incident, one of the garage door's coils broke. Clay came to fix it that afternoon. He took the time to answer my questions and was very polite. I appreciated that when he came through my front gate and front door to get to my garage, he would close it and lock it behind him. He serviced the rollers and replaced a hinge on the door. He answered my many questions and gave me hands on instructions on preventive maintenance and programming.
