I have used Fernando's service several times over the years. He has always shown up when promised. Very honest, professional, experienced and efficient. He'll tell you if an appliance is or is not worth repairing (this has happened to me where he stated that the appliance just wasn't worth repairing). The last time we used his service, he arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and repaired the next day! Very reliable and competitively priced. He does charge a nominal fee to come out for diagnostic and is very upfront about that, but in this economic uncertainty, the fee is money well spent. Set up a repair appointment for a refrigerator. Upon their request, I texted specific model number. The repairman shows up and says, "I'm here to repair the washing machine". Lol. I should've known it'd go downhill from there. He didn't even take a multimeter out to check components, Just said, "It's time for a new fridge, my friend". We called the gas company, and their rep show up, declared our oven the culprit, put on a giant Red Tag'ed on it that said it was illegal to turn our stove back on and just left. We chose to work with Fernando. He charged us to come out and look at what our appliance needed. That's not unusual. But after we signed the work authorization, Fernando disappeared. At first he told us he was waiting on the part. Then, the part had arrived but he was busy. After another month, he just stopped responding to our requests for updates. Avoid. Very rude and entitled. First of all, they would not provide a time window until the night prior to the appointment (no consideration for our schedules) and once they provided a window, it was "take it or leave it". When Fernando did show up, he took one look and said there's an unexpected missing part and the appointment would have to be reschedule and that he wouldn't come back if we didn't have a parking pass available and then told us to call someone else.
