Best locksmith ever! I was locked out of my house one day, so I called these guys up. The locksmith showed up in 15 minutes. He was super full of energy and excited to help me out. When we realized that my old lock was unpickable and he would have to drill out the bolt and replace it (which would cost a lot more than just picking it), we went over other options. He even said that he wouldn't charge me if I ended up just going back to work to get my keys (which would have been difficult since it's locked and well... My keys to the office are in there...) I asked if he could watch me while I climbed a ladder to my second story window just in case I fell, and without a second thought to it he hopped onto the ladder and climbed it to the window! Mind you that the ladder, and my roof... Heck, my whole house is in disrepair, so climbing up that ladder and essentially risking his safety took major cajones! Then we realized that my window wouldn't open past 5 inches because I put a stick in its railing to prevent people from breaking in (DAMN it I hate that I am so safe). Then he said, I have just the thing. Went back to his truck, grabbed a wire, hauled it back up the ladder, fished out the stick, climbed through my bedroom window, and unlocked the door! I was back at the Portland airport with my family and my van, but my keys were still in Philadelphia. On the day I called, Jack had his vehicle in the shop and so referred me to another locksmith. I needed a locksmith fast as I had to kick my roommate out and was worried that he might try to get back into the house (I had some issues trying to get my key back). I called Jack at ABC Lock & Safe at 10:30am in the morning and he was able to come by at 4pm the same day at a time that was convenient for me. Not only did I need my locks changed but both of my outside doors have issues. One has two locks that are very difficult to turn and one has a bottom lock that is practically useless. Jack fixed EVERYTHING! So, now, not only do I have new locks but both of my doors lock like a dream. I was so impressed! Jack has 30 years of experience in the business and it really shows. He was in and out in and hour and I was extremely satisfied with his customer service and skills. I would definitely recommend his work. Also, you get a 10% discount if you find him on Yelp so that helped out with the final total. I have used Jack at ABC twice now and both times he was quick, professional and extremely knowledgeable. This last job required a savvy hand in fixing a 100 year old lock for our front door. I have had others look at it and they recommended we get a new system altogether. Jack, though, insisted on preserving the system and within 45 mins he had it working like a champ. I somehow managed to lock my valet key and my regular keys in my car. Yay for me! I was parked about two miles from my house and had to walk home, forgetting that I didn't have another spare. I ended up leaving the car there for the night, and called Jack the next morning. I told him my situation, and that it would take about 30-40 minutes for me to get there. Not only did he swing by and pick me up, he managed to unlock my car--which was really a pain in the butt to do, because Toyota's security systems work a little too well.
