If I could give NO STARS it would be accurate!!! This company is totally incompetent!! I took 2 small lock assembles into then Sunset store. I handed the 2 identical plastic bags to the counter rep foe ABC Locksmith, assuming that they were competent enough to figure out if they could make a key for the lock assemblies. The lock assemblies were in two identical small plastic bags, marked Glove Box and Trunk lock.. They are not replaceable as they were for the glove box lock assembly and one for the trunk lock assembly, they go to a 1956 Mercedes 190SL, NOT REPLACABLE. After one week Gerald (The INCOMPEDENT COUNTER REP) told me that they could not find a key to fit those locks. I advised him that that was ok and that I would pick up the lock assemblies. Friday February 26, 2021 I returned to the store to pick up my locks and that is when this company's employee showed his total incompetence. Gerald tried to give me 2 small plastic bags with my locks in them. The problem was that only one of those small bags with the lock assemblies was NOT mine. When I looked at the bag with the unknown lock assembly in it, I handed it back to Gerald and told him that was not my lock, as it does not match the other small bag marked Glove Box lock. He proceeded to tell me that the unknown lock assembly was mine and that I gave him that lock assembly when I came in originally a week earlier. This is where it went off the chart. He insisted that he does not make mistakes and that the unknown lock assembly was mine and that I was wrong and he was right. After about 15 minutes of arguing with this incompetent idiot telling me that I was a LAIR and he was right, I then spoke with the "manager" Junior at that point after telling the idiot Gerald the unknown lock assembly was not mine. Junior stated he does not know anything about it, he is the one that does the keys for cars and that is what Gerald gave him. They made little to NO effort to find my correct lock assembly for the trunk of my car. The incompetent Gerald continued calling me a Liar and that the unknown lock assembly given to me by him was indeed my lock assembly and that I was mistaken. Again he stated "THAT HE DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES AN I WAS WRONG!' Update Monday morning March 1,2021. I received a call from a Lady by the name of LEE from ABC Locksmith main office wherever that may be?. She gave me the pitch on the history of the company and then proceeded to tell me that they DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES and the lock that Gerald tried to give me was infect my lock assembly and that I was wrong. So I replied "SO YOU ARE CALLING ME A LAIR and I do not know the lock assemblies given to the employee Gerald Her answer was, " NO, YOU ARE JUST MISTAKEN, BECAUSE WE DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES." This company takes no responsibility for the employees incompetents or the employees actions. PS: The idiots name is Gerald or Gerund, I really don't care He is as incompetent as it gets. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY Are TOTALLY INCOMPEDENT AND IT GOES FOR THE OWNER AND THE MANAGEMENT AS WELL. AWFUL! Recommended to them by Cannon Safes. Made an appointment, between 3-5pm. I left work to be there! 5 o'clock comes around, they're a NO SHOW. Called them. Seems the Dispatcher loused up and called their locksmith who arrived 1 hour later! Was here for 2 hours, for what Cannon Safes said should take just over 30 minutes. Anyway, they left, with the safe UNOPENED, after 2 hours! He couldn't get into it and would call me the following day to confirm a rescheduled date. He called me the following day that he was on his way. Now remember, I had to leave work the day before to meet him. Without him calling me earlier, I was unable to leave work that time. He said he'd call me tomorrow. Guess what, he didn't! I called him 3-4 times on his cell. Never heard back. I called the Company to leave a message, he never called back! I called and left messages for the Owner 3-4 times! No call from the Owner. This is the Company Cannon Safe recommends. I THINK THEY SHOULD RECONSIDER! I'm wondering if the drill point he made was wrong. In any event it's now a week , no call, no show. I find my experience with this Company to be very unprofessional and inept! If the drill point is wrong, this guy would be making my safe look like Swiss Cheese with the holes he's drilling, thus making any repairs to the safe useless, as there would be many easy accesses for a robber to make, because of this Locksmiths inability to perform something he should have been able to, and when a Company like Cannon puts their reputation behind it. For an Owner to have dispatchers who can't perform, locksmiths who are unqualified, and an Owner who can not follow up on his personal calls for business, I would Never, Ever, recommend or use this Company!! This is by far the worst Company I have ever done business with in Las Vegas, and by the way, it's now a week since trying to contact this inept Company and a week since this inept locksmith was at my house. I will now call a professional. Obviously ABC Locksmith is NOT the Company anyone should do business with! Don't go through what I did, find a professional!!! It is too bad you have to give them any stars in order to write a review! This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my over 50 years on this earth. I don't know if "Vince" or the other guy (couldn't ever see his name) are owners or employees, but they should either be out of business or fired. I went in this afternoon while waiting for my wife in the smoke shop to ask a simple question about rekeying the lock on my car door. These two jerks were sitting at a work desk behind the counter stumped about fixing a lock (based on their conversation) and watching tv leaving me waiting with not so much as an acknowledgment for at least 15 minutes despite looking right at me several times and ignoring my attempts to get their attention. I was talking to another customer, who came in long after I did, about the lousy service when "Vince" finally came to the counter. I remarked that I had been waiting quite awhile and asked about my lock situation. It shouldn't have come at such a surprise to find out they are incapable of fixing my lock. As I was leaving, I suggested they improve their customer service skills. Vince yelled at me to "get out and don't come back". I responded to this rude behavior which prompted "the other guy" to stand up from behind the television and threaten me. Excellent service and fair pricing! My deadbolt leading from the garage into the house wasn't locking properly (at least I thought it was the deadbolt) so after researching Yelp for qualified locksmiths I found ABC Locksmiths with the positive reviews they had. I called them and they dispatched Ryan over. Ryan was professional and friendly and very knowledgeable as well. To my surprise he informed me that it was not a deadbolt issue but rather a simple adjustment of the strike plate on the door frame. Ryan gave me a couple of options which were very affordable and I opted for replacing the lock with a deadbolt that was harder to bump open. Ryan told me the following: 1. I didn't have to replace my existing lock if I didn't want to since it was a simple strike plate adjustment. 2. I could upgrade to a lock that offered more security. I appreciated the 2 choices and I went for the better lock. Ryan and ABC Locksmiths were very easy to deal with and it was a great experience. Lightning does strike twice! I couldn't open the lock on my door and freaked out because it was Friday night. Then I remembered I had a trusty locksmith's contact info in my phone. Thank Goodness for my Hero Joel from ABC locksmiths! He had helped my client last year on a Friday night and saved the day! So, I called ABC and asked for Joel, and he was there within an hour (on a Friday night!) turns out someone tried to break into my place and used a "tryout key" which is what thieves do. (Part of the tryout key broke off in the lock, so Joel was able to remove it and let me in. Then, 2 days later the bottom lock had an issue, so I called Joel on a Sunday afternoon. I could not believe he was working, and again he was there within an hour and fixed quickly. I was able to change and race over to see my client on time. Without Joel and ABC locksmiths I would have had a terrible weekend. But they are reliable, trustworthy, excellent at his craft, and available when I needed them. How lucky am I? I lost one of the keys to my car's gas tank. I needed to get a copy of it and went to several places, including Lowe's and the Home Depot among others, but no one had the key or the equipment to make a copy, but everybody referred me to this place on west Sunset Rd. I live close to downtown so I didn't want to drive there, but after everyone told me about it I decided to go. Upon arrival these two gentlemen helped me out. They were fun and lively, so when you come, bring your good humor, you will be helped! They helped me out and at first, like everyone else, couldn't recognize the key, but they took it and looked around the vast selection of keys they have lining the back walls of their counter. Finally they found a key that looked like but not quit like my key. They cut it and sanded it a little to make it slimmer and with confidence gave it to me. I tried the key in my car and turned like the original key did. These guys are awesome! I will only come to this place from now on. The drive is worth it. Finally I found a trust worthy locksmith company. A few months back I was locked out of my home so I looked on google to find a locksmith. The locksmith showed up an hour later although he told me 20 minutes. He then drilled the lock without even informing me of what he was going to do. He said that he had to replace it after he drilled it and then he gave me a $275 bill. I was in shock and after a screaming match he reduced the bill down to $200. I really got cheated by him. A few months later the new lock broke so I called that locksmith back and found out this was a call center, not a real locksmith company. They sent another locksmith to my home and he tried to tell me it will cost over $400 so I threw him out of the house. So I used Yelp this time to find a good locksmith and I found ABC Locksmiths with very high ratings and very good reviews. I had Ryan show up and he was able to repair that broken lock and only charged me $88. ABC Locksmiths did a great job and I recommend them 100%. read more

So I used to use another locksmith that I found on Yelp but this time he didn't pick up the phone so I searched on Yelp for a reputable locksmith company and found ABC Locksmiths with excellent reviews. I called them up and Anthony answered and was very pleasant on the phone. My safe was not opening and I needed it fixed asap. The quote that was given to me over the phone sounded very reasonable and Anthony dispatched Scott right over. What impresses me most about ABC Locksmiths was how professional the company is and how knowledgeable their techs are!! Scott just like magic, was able to get the safe open and repaired the dial all on the same day. Scott also recommended that I add a deadbolt to my front door which I didn't even realize I did not have. To summarize I highly suggest that people use ABC Locksmiths not just because they are a reputable and professional company, but because they care and the way they run their business no wonder why they have been around so long. ABC LOCKSMITHS was extremely responsive they were more than happy to work around my schedule to do what needed to be done.They were the only locksmith to respond to my request.In my case it was installing a new lock that required making the deadbolt hole of the door cut larger. I'd have done it myself but cutting a straight hole in a door from a smaller one without a jig is dangerous (for the door) and I didn't want to buy $70 in tools that I'd never use again.He did fine work and exactly per my request. He was able to finish the job quickly and even cleaned up the mess after being considerate not to make a mess of nearby belongings.It's the little things sometimes.He is a fine example of a business running it in a manner that reflects delivering the kind of service that he would want to get himself.He's also friendly, chatty, making it easy to discuss the work at hand. If I could give six stars, I would have. ABC Locksmiths rocks!!! My store got broken into. I guess they went through the back door and picked the lock open. When Ryan the locksmith showed up, the first thing he noticed was that the back door did not have a deadbolt . Ryan installed for me a high security deadbolt that has keys that cannot be copied as well. He also changed the front door lock to match the back one and also made the front door impossible to pick or bump open. Now I have high security locks in the back and the front of my store which are all under the same key and the keys can not be copied without my knowledge so I have complete key control. Way to go ABC!! From this point on I will always use Abc Locksmiths for my house or for my business. Ryan also told me that they do car keys as well which is great to know. I've been there a couple of times to make copies and I don't usually rate places but I gotta say I was there last week to make some copies and when I came in this young guy was making copies for customers while this other guy was smoking In the back of the store with 3 other people oh boy they didn't even go outside to smoke it was like going into a smoke shop the only thing left to do was to start selling cigarettes and that would make them extra income. Other times I've seen these two older guys smoking inside but back the now the place smells worse now that they have people smoking inside. I guess next time I gotta take my mask to make some copies. I don't understand some places the employees are supposed to smoke outside of the work place. Anyway I just thought this would make them rethink about the employees they have there. I have had key and lock needs twice recently, and Joey has met and exceeded my expectations both times. Most recently he was able to disassemble, clean, lubricate and make keys for my old truck. It would have been easier for him to say something like they don't make those anymore and get me out the door, but no, he went to work on the lock immediately and in a short period of time got it working, and made keys for it, using original key stock. His prices are very reasonable. I need to ad, while waiting, he has great reading material in the waiting area, as well as free water bottles for customers, and an assortment of key rings. Ever since we moved into our new home we've had issues with the locks. Only one out of the two locks in the front door would operate properly at the same time. Our back door deadbolt would stay unlocked and couldn't be secured. It was time for a permanent solution to fix all these issues so I called ABC locksmith and had them dispatch a locksmith out to my home. Russell the locksmith came over and like magic was able to repair the back door lock and had it working again. He told me it's simply a latch issue that he was able to fix it so quickly. In regards to the front door, he had to replace the bottom knob because it was completely broken. I would recommend ABC locksmith in a heartbeat. Wow WOW! I run a car service and recently one of my employees lost a customer key fob which has nevermore happened since, so imagine my predicament having to explain this to the customer. The dealership wanted us to tow it in and wait a couple days since there was no extra key to replicate, So this news made things worse. But my call to ABC Locksmiths solved everything. After calling different companies to get my lock fixed most of them would give me just minimum prices or estimated prices until they see it. They gave me a reasonable price and a quick response to get my front door lock replaced since I guess it was about time to change it to something that looks and works better.. Definitely calling back to upgrade my locks in the future since the technician before actually working on the locks gave me very good ideas on how I could improve a better security for my home and my family. SOOOOO GLAD I FOUND THIS company. my car key was totally worn out, to the point where it would take me 15-20 tries to start the ignition. I lost my spare so I called around to see how much it would cost to get a new key made, along with a battery replacement for my lock/unlock clicker thing. I kept getting quoted $170-200 for the key, and another $20+ for the battery. I drive an old Honda civic, there's no reason it should cost that much!!! This is the #1 locksmith in all of Vegas!! I called several Locksmiths about a quote to change the locks at my new house. What surprised me was that these locksmiths were giving me a weird price over the phone such as $15 and up. I asked them what do they mean by "up" but they refused to tell me the exact pricing over the phone. When I called ABC locksmith's the dispatcher was very clear of how much a service call would be and how much it would cost to re-key each of my new lock cylinders. When Ryan the locksmith came over he was able to rekey the locks right on the spot and did not overcharge me which made me very happy. I have a condo that had an old Schlage lock on the front door. The lock eventually broke so I took a pic of it and went to Home Depot. I was told that these types of locks by Schlage were discontinued and that I would have to contact a locksmith to handle the replacement of the lock. I went on Yelp and searched for a reputable locksmith company in Vegas. I decided to choose ABC Locksmiths because of their reputation and the high Yelp scores.
