Everything could improve. 1st they call themselves a rehab facility. Ive been here 15…read moremonths without physical therapy or even a plan for therapy. 2nd they mess up doctor's orders for medication and get angry with you for asking about your medication. I was even told I would not get my morning meds until I was out of my room if it continued to be an issue for me to take my meds without question. I am a paraplegic it is not up to me when I get out of bed. Today it is 12:30 I've been asking to get up since 9 am. I currently need more dental work than I have needed in my entire 58 years. My first year here I would ask and my daughter would ask for supplies to brush my teeth I rarely was given them. Again as a paraplegic I needed those items brought to me. I had not been given a single bath/shower for my first year here. Not even a "bed bath". Right now I am in tremendous pain I have to take breaks while typing this. Generally I receive pain meds 3x per day. First they took me off of my pain meds without telling me. I was in pain for two days. This time they have decided the people who were passing meds were not to pass meds any longer. So I have only been given meds 2x per day My morning meds are given to me 2 hours past the normal time. By this time I have break through pain there is no recovery even if I get my afternoon meds ( which I don't). The food let's just say I lost 25 lbs.

Do not work here.Let's start with the management team the DON treats you as if your beneath anyone…read morewho is NOT a RN.She is very difficult to deal with and has no clue how to run a building. She allows the scheduler to do whatever she please with the schedule. If she don't like you she removes your shifts,if you call off she will either remove shifts or put you on a floor she no u don't like,She will take shifts from you and give it to someone else if your not apart of their click. If you call her she do no answer if you text her she leaves you on read.If you pick up on OnShift she leaves the request sitting waiting for approval for days if not weeks looking to give shifts to her friends and if they don't want the OT then she will approve your request at the last minute. She is the worst scheduler I have ever worked with and I have been in healthcare over 21 years.Moving on to the Unit manger she was a floor nurse and thought she was a super nurse before she got in this roll about 5/6 weeks ago,Now mind you the job was Never posted and she has only been working there about 4/5 months they passed up nurses who have been there for years to put her in that roll cause she's in there click and also a relative of another manager so it's all about who u know. She walks around with her nose in the air and let's not mention her husband works there as well as an STNA so she try's to throw her weight around and seem more important then she is.Moving on to the weekend supervisor however she works 6 if not 7 days a week on the second floor. She runs that building like she's the DON they don't do anything without asking her input first. All the hard people go on the 3rd floor so she don't have any treatments or anything like that. She tells them who to put on 2 when they come in.She give her friends the easy groups and do not make sure the changes are split fairly. If she doesn't like you then you might as well quit cause she will have the whole building bullying you.Moving on to the ADON there and honestly the one with the most since out of the team. She try's to stay out of most BS however I believe if you stand by and do nothing your apart of the problem as well. But she cool.Moving on to the Administrator he has no clue what he's doing at all.You call him with a question he has no idea the answer it's always let me ask whoever he think my know. You stop him with a complaint he looks at you like you have two heads and just say ok.I have never in my life worked anywhere like this. The turn over rate is so high for a reason.I wouldn't put my dog in this place. They do have a few good nurses and a few good aides however it's limited. The patients are always high and or drinking. They allow them to disrespect the staff.People leave and go do drugs and come back and ask for a pain pill no one ever holds the pain pill and contact the MD and let them no there under the influence. It's only 3 aides I ever seen give a shower in the whole time I've worked there.I can go on and on if your thinking about working here don't.

The focus of this campus is mental health treatment for adolescents. There are outpatient services and a brand new building that just opened for residential treatment. Our visit was something out of a horror movie( not exaggerating). I have been to many Children's locations for different reasons for many many years. I have always had good experiences. After dealing with this Children's and the staff, I can honestly say that I have never experienced anything so horrific. The staff were uneducated and unaware. A place that was supposed to help my child only caused his condition to worsen. The support was non existent. Even after expressing my sons needs and my concerns they were completely ignored. I honestly believe that my son was neglected. As a mother, you want to help and protect your child. I never thought that taking my son to this place would do just the opposite. I will never visit this campus again and I will never ever recommend them to anyone. In my opinion, the area and staff that we were in and working with should be shut down and investigated until something drastically changes. I can honestly say that there was NOTHING that was positive. IT WAS LITERALLY A NIGHTMARE.
