We had a suspected slow leak in the pipe in the laundry room behind panels where our main water shutoff valve is located and I called ABC Plumbing to schedule an appt and they came out the next day. The woman on the phone scheduling was very pleasant and accommodating and they came the next day and called before they arrived with ETA. Steven was our plumber and he was wonderful. He found and repaired 5 pipes that had burst. The damage is immense but he climbed ladders and methodically found each burst pipe. The wet Sheetrock and insulation was a huge mess but he kept working through each leak. He tried to get a restoration company to come help with the mess. Skyler was very professional and explained everything so that it made sense to me! We had a couple small leaks. He went to 2 different stores to look for a part that was needed. When they didn't have it Darrell stepped in and hunted it down. In the meantime I had some flooding happen and called them back. Our main water pipe had an extremely costly leak. We had several plumbers come take a look, provide estimates and some plainly did not want to deal with our large job. However, when Jason arrived, he was able quickly to identify the issue, provide a same day quote and get us on the schedule. I'd recommend ABC plumbing for large jobs to save yourself costs. They were able to saw cut the driveway, lay new concrete and replace the old pipe. The gentleman provided excellent customer service and the company gave a wonderful warranty. My hot water heater had a large leak in the middle of the night on a Friday night. I called ABC Plumbing first thing Saturday morning and was relieved that they were able to come out later that day. Steven and Hunter did a great job! They quickly diagnosed my issue and realized that I would need a new water heater due to rusting within the old tank likely due to age (it was over 10 years old). They made recommendations on the cheapest and best hot water heater option for me (including information about warranties and different brands), and they had a new water heater installed later that day. I appreciated their honesty with pricing, they were very nice and efficient, and most of all I was happy to have my hot water heater problem fixed on a weekend day. Snowmagedon 2021 was not kind to the pipes on our garage apartment. In anticipation of that I had prescheduled several days in advance for ABC Plumbing to come out the day that temps were forecast to be above freezing. I tried calling earlier in the day to confirm but couldn't reach anyone. My appointment time came and went with no plumber. Sure enough a pipe burst. I was finally able to get hold of someone at about 5PM and they explained that they had so many emergency calls that they were way behind. Understandable, but I had scheduled my appointment. They called me back about 15 mins later and said they would definitely get someone out that night. Within an hour Skyler and Clayton showed and fixed it up. Unfortunately too many breaks and they had to cap the line into the apartment so the main house would have water. I'll have to reschedule more work but they were very fair with me on the price. Very disappointed in this company. The communication between the office and the contractors actually doing the work is not clear. I had to call numerous times to see when someone was actually going to come do work, then again to finish the work, and again to fill the hole back in. It took them 3+ weeks for them to complete a 3 day job just because no one was showing up to finish the job. Very frustrating and not happy with the finished work. read more

This is the second time that we've needed ABC Pumbing (Watauga). They made our lives better in less than an hour! We had a meter leak unfortunately on our side, not the city's. Our home warranty company wouldn't fix it and the plumbing company that they sent out was not equipped to fix it. I called ABC Plumbing and they came out THE NEXT DAY. Yes, I said THE NEXT DAY. Called before 8:00am to replace bib on outside faucet. They set up an appointment for that day, Friday, between 12-3. For this simple project, it was possibly going to cost me up to $250.00. My husband passed so I needed help with this replacement. At 1:15pm, she called and stated they did not have time to come for the work to be done. I told her this was important. She said if I wanted to, they could come after five and pay the $80.00, past hours fee. $250 plus $80, just to replace a connection so I could attach my garden hose. I told her I would rather buy a 200 ft. hose and post my situation on Yelp. Beware. read more
