I was in town from across the country on an RV trip. I needed my RV trailer wheel bearings repacked…read moreand came to this business. HUGE mistake. Avoid Alaska trailer as they can leave you absolutely stranded due to incompetence and unprofessional work, they are lucky I didn't take them to small claims court, very lucky. The job was completed and I made it to the Yukon Territory about 2 weeks later, traveling no more than 65 mph and a wheel bearing burned up. I was in the middle of nowhere, 2hrs from any community. 8 hrs and $900 later I was towed into Whitehorse YT at a shop. 3 days later and $2500 I was back on the road. I tried to get Alaska Trailer to do the right thing and reimburse for the towing, that didn't happen. They did refund for my cost of the one bearing repair but not the towing. If they were a legit, ethical business in Anchorage they would have refunded the towing and their initial fees for doing the crappy, work to begin with. Their work should not be allowed in Alaska and they do not stand behind their work. Get stranded because of them and oh well, not willing to make it right. You have been warned!

After not having been in the new store, nor the other in almost a year, we walked in and Mike acknowledged us by name straight away! Thats worth the extra little bit we may pay for OEM materials when purchasing through them. Personally, when you spend the kind of money you do when buying a tractor, OEM is worth the cost and taking shortcuts tends to be problematic. When we originally purchased, we were both given a hat and while that didn't seem like much, it's appreciated and free advertising for them... can't say that for any of the car nor ATV dealerships in the area. I was even given a second, more feminine hat this past summer when my husband went to pick something up. The new location is great, very spacious with several items indoors, rather than out on the lot. If you're new to tractors and it's the middle of winter, it's nice to be indoors for the introduction, rather than walking the lot. The new lot is also huge and it appears they've really added a lot to their physical inventory on hand, so less waiting for things to arrive. While I can't speak for everyone, some are harder to please than others or have had poor experiences, we have not. We have recommended others to ESI numerous times, and will continue to do so!

Brought it in for service -- was told the window leak couldn't be found. However, found a heavy silicone patch applied on that window alone. Liars! The trailer came back with new damage on the interior panels -- screws and staple marks that weren't there before. No acknowledgment, no accountability. Months of emails followed. The owner, Vik, eventually responded in writing that everything is the manufacturer's responsibility and directed me to Keystone. Keystone then confirmed they have zero warranty claim history for my unit -- meaning the repairs performed here were apparently never filed with the manufacturer at all. I gave this dealership every opportunity to make this right. What I got was delay, deflection, and silence. If you're buying here, just know: the experience ends the moment you drive off the lot.

After doing a ton of research on prices, capabilities and such, we decided to head out to Bubba's to check them out. Their prices were great with what you get and from what I could tell, we got more for our money, going with them. We went out there planning on buying a specific trailer and then after seeing them, checking out all the bells and whistles, we actually went with a different model. Very casual, no pressure or haggling. What you see is what you get and we like that. We worked with Alex who is their mechanic, so he was able to answer all of our questions, along with pointing out some things we hadn't thought of. We received a military discount, which is always greatly appreciated! I highly recommend them for anyone in need of a workhorse of a trailer!!

It drove fine. There was no signs of any issues so we signed the papers and purchased it.. a couple weeks later if you problems arose, and the concern for safety was in question. I went back to the dealership spoke with the manager and expressed my concerns, and she immediately had me bring the vehicle in the next day for repairs. She told me that they have been through a few mechanics since the vehicle had its safety inspection done and apologized and didn't want me to think that they sold non-dependable vehicles and they want to back up their companies name so at no cost to me all the safety concerns I had were repaired.

Lee is who we dealt with. He came across friendly at first but that quickly changed. It seemed all he was interested in was us leaving a 5-star review. He mentioned it many, many times. We purchased the truck and drove it off the lot. The next day, I stop and fill up the tank before heading to work. After filling up, I was smelling gasoline in the cab. When I got to work I called Midas to see if they would look at it later in the day. I was suspecting a possible leak in the fuel line. I was NOT expecting what they found. They called me with an almost $4000 repair bill. There was a hole drilled in the gas tank, the back half of the exhaust system was removed.....AND THERE WERE NO BRAKES ON THE TRUCK! I immediately called Lee and requested the truck be taken back and everything repaired/replaced. Lee gave some excuse about the lead mechanic being away and that's why things were overlooked. If any mechanic overlooks the fact that breaks and an exhaust system are missing....are they really a mechanic? When I initially purchased the truck, the fog lights were missing and Lee had refused to fix them. With everything else that was just found on the truck, I told him the fog lights were also getting replaced or I wasn't keeping the truck. He begrudgingly accommodated. I picked the truck up a few weeks later. The fog lights were installed but they stopped working a few days later. I took the truck back in, and a mechanic took a look at them and electrical taped some wires together. They worked again for another few days and then stopped. I took it to another shop that said the wires were all loose and the lights weren't even bolted in. Fast forward 2 years. I'm having some engine issues and am trying to locate the extended warranty I purchased. I called and got Lee on the phone. The first time he answered the phone and then hung up before I even said anything. I called back and he couldn't have sounded more uninterested. He said he'd take my name and number and call me back. Obviously he never did. Thankfully, I was able to locate the warranty paperwork in the meantime. After the engine was replaced a month or so ago, I realized I was smelling gas again after filling up. I take a look near the tank only to find that the gas tank that had been "replaced" because of the hole that was drilled into it hadn't actually been replaced. All they did was patch it and it's now leaking again. I reached out several times trying to get in contact with the manager. Tim finally got back to me one day, said he'd look into it but that he wasn't the manager when this took place. He never called back. If you love supporting scumbag used car lots then this is the place to go. With all of the options out there, I'd highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Lee, Tim, and the others at Dependable Used Cars are clearly only interested in taking your money and not in providing quality work.

Actually, you get nothing once you make an offer. If I could give them negatvie stars I would. I purchased a used RV from them three months ago. Needed a little work (RV sat for a few years so the batteries were shot). It took several calls and days to get the batteries replaced with new ones. They changed them out but would not give us the receipt for the "New" batteries. Claimed they would handle any warrantee work for the batteries, no need for the receipt. Once we took delivery and did the walk through, they did not answer any questions or take any calls. We did have a charging problem that they took several days to troubleshoot and fix (in fairness - a few of the days was waiting on parts). But still took entirely too long. We never received the DMV paperwork. Crossing the border we found out the registration was not sent to us. (Valley RV did the DMV paperwork). We contacted Lex, our salesman, to see where the paperwork was. It's been two weeks and he still has not even responded. So if you imagine the worse used car salesman, that is him. Very nice and will work with you until he has your money. Then he will not respond. No texts, no calls. Nothing. Just disappears. Maybe ignoring us is more accurate because the texts are showing "READ" the day we sent it. Which might be even more troubling that he knows we needed immediate help and failed to respond. Just sad. Use me as the example or be the example. So many other businesses will treat you so much better. I will not spend another dollar or minute at this business. Please do not use this place.

"Sure," he said, "I can do that, but let me check it and see if it's something fixable." Found the problem, fixed it for next to nothing, and it's worked fine ever since. I broke my electrical inlet box and it was a very old type that isn't available anymore. No problem. He put in a replacement that he had handing around, and got me back on the road. I really can't say enough about this shop. It's not a fancy place, but they are very competent and honest.
