got a best top camper shell. leaking in multiple locations after less that 24 hours. they Told me they were having trouble stretching the canvas, trying to say how every top is different . I doubt a company is selling a product that come different every single time .. or the Other excuse was " sometimes they come folded in the box differently making it harder to install " i was told one hour, it took nearly 8 hours. After calling and hearing your truck will be ready in 35 mins, I showered up 2 hours later only to wait in the lobby another 50 minutes. Now I have I to go get it uninstalled for a refund, wasting Even more of my time .. what a horrible experience. Pretty sure I see marks on my truck as well, near the install area that weren't there before . Sometimes the only way to see how really responsive and reliable a business is comes from their resolution of issues. In my case, they opened the problem and without being asked choose the best solution even though it was the most expensive for the business. Their communication was also excellent. After having my truck in Total Truck's shop for a total of four separate 8-hour days and spending over $8K, they still did not competently complete the installation of my light bar or rooftop tent. They would say they "ran out of time" each time I would pick up my truck. I dropped my truck off each day at 8AM and wouldn't get a notification on my app until close to noon that the door had been opened. They sold me an extremely warped rack, which after seeing the photographs Sherpa, the manufacturer, said there is no way Total Truck wouldn't have noticed the damaged when they installed it. Then it took over two months to get a replacement, and the communication throughout was non-existent. If I didn't harass them, I was completely ghosted. When I did speak with Taylor, Josh or the front desk lady, (I called weekly and stopped by the shop multiple times) I always got a different story/excuse of why the replacement wasn't ordered yet. The owner Craig didn't even know what was going on when I talked to him. Their customer service is an absolute disgrace, and their installations show a great deal of incompetence. The light bar I purchased from them, and specifically said I wanted wired to a switch, was wired to my lights and still does not work (after four 8-hour shop visits). The last excuse was because I brought the wrong switch in. I am still confused why I was responsible for providing a switch that I was told would be included when I bought the light bar! They had the audacity to ask if I wanted to reschedule again. HARD NO! After the last visit, I was so disgusted I drove straight to Kings Customs down the road. The owner lifted the hood and found the light bar wiring was hanging loose in the engine compartment, and the LIVE negative and positive wires had been taped together (which is a fire hazard). Kings fixed all of it on the spot. The tent still squeaked and slammed on the rack after the replacement installation (even though the installer, Josh, took the TWO rolls of camper tape I had in my truck, after saying they'd use their own.) Just like the other installs, it was shotty work. We have uninstalled everything Total Truck installed and have had it reinstalled properly. We are having Kings Customs finish our truck build. I gave Total Truck every opportunity to cure the issues, and they failed at every turn. I have never experienced this kind of horrible service. Never again will I recommend, or use Total Truck, they are a total disappointment. read more

There was good and not so good with our experience at Total Truck recently. Initially, the gentlemen that helped us when we went in was helpful and polite. He helped us with numerous quotes, ordered several items for our truck and scheduled us for the following week to get most of it installed. We ordered airbags with the compressor installed, mud flaps, floor mats and seat covers. They were great and installed the mud flaps and floor mats when we were going to install them ourselves and washed our truck. The seat covers are a special order and take time, no big deal. All great!! Now... the not so great. ..::cringe::. We picked up the truck and drove it home, 25ish miles. The following day, the husband went out to take a look at the install and thankful that he did did. On right side, there was a bolt chaffing a rigid brake line..... on left side, it was chafing against the sway bar..... he had to cut about an inch off the bolt and move the hard line to avoid further damage. The bolt already had chafing on the threads, where it rubbed with the single drive home. These are definitely practices that need to be addressed and squared away on their end. Edit... we dropped in to pick up the seat covers and they were super responsive to mentioning the install snafu. Upped them an additional star for being receptive. read more

I recently went to TTA while shopping around for nerf bars/steps for my Tundra. Loren helped me out. She's awesome. Gave me all the info I needed, showed me all the options available to me and even gave me some sites to check out at home before making a decision. I called her a week later to order the set I had decided on and she had them in shop within days. Jamie was upset helpful as well, giving me great advice on setting up my light bar. I'll be back. Very disappointed. After the wrong topper arrived (color, windows, latch system) Total Truck promised to order the correct one. WE SHOOK hands! After a LONG WAIT new management changed their mind on our original agreement and decided to fix the wrong one instead of replacing the topper as we had agreed. They did a bad paint job (promised to fix but still have not) and put the wrong window in AGAIN! After more than a year I am still waiting to hear from them. I would consider giving someone else your business. Ordered topper in Dec 2019. It is now Feb 2021 and the problem has not been fixed. Evidently a hand shake doesn't mean what it used to mean. read more

I had LED's purchased and installed here as a gift on my jeep. After bringing it back twice to have it looked at because my headlights didn't work, I was told they couldn't help me because they couldn't find an invoice number for the original purchase. So now I have no headlights in the middle of winter, out the money of the purchase and now have to go have this fixed elsewhere as another expense. Extremely poor work, follow up and customer service. Do NOT use this company. read more

Not as pleased as I thought with my experience at Total Truck. I went in to look at tonneau covers and get an estimate on bed liners a couple weeks ago. Got a call to schedule my install. Booked for today at 10 am. As I watch from my dash camera, my truck isn't worked ok until a little after 2 pm. They did it fast, for sure. I get a call at 4:58 pm saying it's done. They close at 5 expecting me to leave the truck over night. Great customer service would be calling ahead to give the customer time to head over and pick up their vehicle. read more

Came in to buy a camper shell, had money in my pocket, but after trying to get prices (which were higher then the competition by $700-900) and having the entire staff wander off leaving me alone with my questions unanswered and a feeling of resentment one should not experience when you're about to drop $3k at their shop I went up the street and bought one from Six Robblees. This is why I bought the rest of my accessories from Amazon! The woman working the front counter was at least somewhat helpful after the old dude was such an a-hole to me, telling me I needed to get online and fill out a bunch of paperwork wait for an email, print it off and bring it back to them just to get a price on a shell. Like it was some kind of family secret what the price would be, then the gal hands me a printed out price sheet that was under the counter. I've rarely seen such unprofessionalism outside of a fast food joint run entirely by high schoolers. Either this place has REALLY good and REALLY bad days or the five star reviews are friends and family. Hopefully the owner actually reads these, because people with $40-75k trucks can buy tool boxes and camper shells wherever they want, they go to dealers they like, and they can trust, and fella that ain't you! read more

Worked with Jamie to get a canopy for my truck, he had a lightly used one in stock that was rhino-lined and installed for me. It even came with a strip of LED lights inside! It was sprayed well and installed tight. Will be returning for more work and already sent a family member in! read more
