I had a great experience at the ABC Traffic School Anaheim office. When I first came in, I was honestly confused and overwhelmed by the process. There was a lot of information, paperwork, and requirements that I didn't fully understand. I had several questions and wasn't sure what I needed to do next. Monse was incredibly patient, professional, and helpful throughout the process. She took the time to explain things clearly and helped me understand what was required. Even when I was frustrated and confused, she remained kind and professional. What stood out to me the most was that she treated me with respect and understanding. I know the staff deal with many people and many different situations every day, and that can't be easy. Despite that, she was still able to help me get everything sorted out. I actually asked if I could bring a small gift to thank her, but she told me staff are not allowed to accept gifts. So instead, I wanted to leave this review because I truly appreciate her help. I was pressured into writing my first review, so I wish I could delete it. Not even sure why I did it, I was in a pretty vulnerable mental space. Rosa or Rosie at the front desk is extremely rude and harsh. She made me cry once in the office, I was feeling so guilty about missing a class. I was deep in addiction and trying to make things right, and she made me feel like the scum of the earth. The young man in the front is very kind and patient and deserves accolades. He was always patient while I sorted through my paperwork. I always made it my job to get all my emails from my AA classes and highlight the dates and times to make it easier for them to count them up. I spent a lot of money here, and I don't plan on ever having to do it again. I appreciate that they have online classes, but the rules are very strict. Some counselors make the classes more freeform than others. I definitely loved counselor Mario. He made the time fly by. We would discuss philosophy, and he was very introspective and helped us open up and see how there are other factors besides addiction that have led us to where we are, including unhealed trauma. Mario's classes many times felt more like an open format AA meeting, and it was especially helpful when others participated and contributed to the discussion. Sometimes we'd really get deep into one person's story, other times we would laugh, sometimes we would cry. Often we told cautionary tales. Lessons were learned and I'm better for it, even though I never want to do it again. Going in person is slightly more relaxed than online. I only went a few times but I'd always see people scrolling on their phones in person, meanwhile we'd get called out online immediately. Follow the rules and you'll get through it. DON'T MISS CLASS OR IT'S $30!! And if you go more than 21 days without a class, you have to go back to court. That's not ABC's fault, it's the law. Be careful if your class falls on a major holiday. Set alarms so you don't forget to go. And you can't be in a moving car or outside during class, this seemed to be the rule that people misunderstood the most. You can do AA online, or Recovery Road is right around the corner. Just be sure to get your card signed or email confirmation. Whatever you do, don't miss an appointment here, they don't make it easy for you. read more

To the "sassy" front‑desk employee -- it would be wise to work on your decorum. The rudeness and lack of professionalism are impossible to overlook. After reviewing other customer feedback, it appears this is not an isolated experience, and I can reasonably assume many of us are referring to the same individual. ABC -- is this truly the standard you're willing to uphold? How many complaints are required before meaningful action is taken? Overall: The communication practices are concerning. At times, information is provided with excessive specificity, yet in other instances, essential details are omitted entirely. This inconsistency forces unnecessary repeat visits and reflects poorly on the organization's operational competence. read more

I unfortunately got a DUI and the ABC Traffic School was highly recommended. They were absolutely wrong. They have horrible customer service; especially a girl named Monse. She was super rude and refused to let me reschedule my appointment because I was 1 minute late. Keep in mind I am 4 months pregnant and on disability due to Pregnancy Complications. I have to be on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. She told me I was terminated for being 1 minute late and I told her I am not even supposed to be walking. So I go to court and see a Judge and he says I am not terminated in their system but gave me a reinstatement notice just in case. Then I go back to the Anaheim office & the girl Monse locked the door and wouldn't let anyone in. read more

Should have zero star option Came in to sign up for a 3 month first time dui program. I paid in full prior to even filling out any of their ridiculous paperwork. Once I finished filling out the paperwork, I went to the counter and handed it to the older Hispanic woman. She immediately begins looking through it... and starts asking me questions about my drinking right in front of a lobby full of people. I told her I felt uncomfortable and she was being unprofessional... to which she replied "that's your opinion". I had my money refunded and will never be back. From the moment I walked in their door... I was the only person waiting, and neither of their 2 employees greeted or even acknowledged me coming in. I waited for 5 minutes to even be greeted and asked what I was in for. Just rude people and extremely unprofessional. This place is being kept in business by California's dui and drug laws. Aside from that, they would never make it on their own as a private business. Update review. The manager is amazing here, she did my counselor meetings and was the sweetest woman I've ever met. Unfortunately, her team sucks, Vice President of the company Amelia treats everyone like shit even her own employees. Front desk guy gives attitude and to be honest, they all just seem like they hate their lives working there. If it wasn't for the manager and counselors, this place would fall apart. I'm not sure who the owner is because when I asked for the owners info I was turned down by Amelia (which is illegal btw). Thankfully I finished my 3 month program and never have to look back but holy shit this place makes it hard. Amelia stands in the way of people trying to grow from consequences, she needs some self reflection because to work in a place like this, you need a lot of LOVE and PATIENCE (which she doesn't have). Once again, phenomenal job from the manager and counselors, literally have zero complaints about them. But whoever the owner is, you need to pick a new VP and front desk guy because ur reviews suck about them. I have spoken on Andre as being a wonderful counselor to me in the beginning of my journey, but by the end of my journey I had Rosa as my main counselor. She was the most kind-hearted and understanding counselor who helped us all get through two hours together. We all gained a lot more from those two hours with Rosa than we had before we came in. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews.. probably because people are pissed off that they have to do this class and I get it. Or people can't simply follow the rules during class and get upset when they get kicked out and have to pay. That's life. We are adults and should follow the rules and learn that our actions have consequences. Everyone has been friendly and helpful during this experience. The only thing I'd say is a negative is that you have to drive to the office to reschedule. The lady at the front (I can't remember her name but she is so nice!) explained to me it's because she has to do all the necessary paperwork to change your session. It is a lot and I totally get it now. It makes sense. I've taken a few counselors and the only one I truly recommend is Mario. Everyone else talks at you for two hours and it is honestly dreadful. No offense. Mario truly cares about everyone in his class and creates a positive and meaningful environment to learn and listen to your peers. We have discussions and learn from each others' experiences, not just listen to someone talk for two hours. Highly recommend you ask for Mario as your counselor for your group sessions AND educational sessions. read more

Terrible customer service. I hate giving my money to companies that treat you unfairly. Unnecessarily strict. I was 2 minutes late to a virtual class and they treated me terribly. You get on the phone with them and they have an awful attitude. I've dealt with a couple of their employees and you can hear the satisfaction in their voice when they deny your requests for help. They'll go as far as telling you it's your fault for getting arrested in the first place. Kicking you while you're already down. I can't wait to have ABC traffic out of my life. I hope those individuals who don't know how to speak to paying customers get a taste of their own medicine one day. read more

Hope I never have to go back here and hope no one has to go do this . It is a good program and they are dmv approved but staff there sucks they need a whole new rehire! The front desk guy is just rude for no reason just because we can't say anything back because we need to do this and he will not allow me to take the class. The counselor Jocelyn doesn't even k ow how to do her job, I need paperwork when I went to see her for court and she gives the wrong information and now I gotta waste time going for the said paperwork she didn't "think " I needed . They need to do better especially since it is a first offenders class so OBVIOUSLY no one really knows what they gotta do and it doesn't help when they do t do what they are supposed to .they need to bring Rosa back she was amazing and a great communicator and she explained everything thoroughly and answered my questions and made sure I understood everything. Abc traffic staff and management is amazing. Treated me with respect, encouragement and always they always make me feel welcomed. That being said I wanted to reschedule my eight meeting and met with Emilia. She came off the wrong way not only did she try to lecture me but she belittled me. This is the first time her and I met. I don't agree with the way she came off, which is the reason why I'm voicing this out. I'm sure it wasn't intended but definitely made me feel some type of way. read more

I give it 5 stars because the counselor Rosa is very kind and explains things very clearly. She leaves you with no doubts, but I want to give 1 star to the receptionist because I arrived for my appointment and he assumed I was someone else and was rejecting my appointment for things that he said I needed. But when I asked him if he knew my name, he just said, "Oh! I thought you were someone else," and I felt he's voice rude with attitude. read more
