Then this is my special occasion garden of worship temple to plants nursery. It's where I go to celebrate major life events ...with plants and garden furniture purchases. I still also go to sit in the garden if I need a quiet place to think. There isn't a Ritual Coffee there anymore, but they don't seem to mind if you a being a drink (All Good is around the corner.) As I age, and my janked up knee worsens, and the City puts up barriers for people with mobility issues, I can't always get to my preferred thinking spots in the City's lovely parks. This is a very good substitute with easy parking. We had our wedding reception in Golden Gate Park when we were young and broke. If you have money you could have it here as they rent it out for just such occasions. It would be a lovely venue.

It's on 24th street across from the Noe Valley town square, next to the J line. The owner, Santiago, who studied interior design, provides many unique and beautiful planters and plants that you won't usually see at other plant shops. Planters are priced fair for being quality, unique pieces on their own. Many are designed and painted by artists. Other things they sell include lighting, ceramics, candles, blankets, and plant care. It's always a pleasure to browse their rotating selection! The staff are awesome (shout out to Jonathan and Madeline!). They're super nice and helpful in finding the perfect plants and planters in a range of sizes to fit your space and needs, and how to take care of them. Just ask!

He runs group and individual workshops as well as maintaining the development of bonsai and pre-bonsai material for the San Francisco Bay Area. Bonsify is the most authoritative nursery for both plants and service in the local area. They are open by appointment only and much of the sales are done via mail order. Eric is down to earth, caring and an utmost professional for anything bonsai related. He is patient with beginners and experienced enough to have owners of magnificent trees use his services for ongoing consultation and management. Bonsify also has what is probably the most educational and grower advocacy based YouTube channel. If you are looking for trees and shrubs to grow bonsai with there is simply no better outfit to work with than Bonsify. Eric will get you set up with trees, lessons and get you introduced into the local bonsai community like no one else. His prices are fair considering the quality of plants he sells not to mention the enormous amount of support and help he offers personally and through his YouTube channel. I was desperate and needed to get into an apartment vacated by our tenant right away. I believed…read morethat I had the right key, but wasn't 100% sure bc it wasn't unlocking the deadbolt. (Turned out I had the right key, but the ancient lock was broken). I got a recommendation to use Cole and called them. I had to leave a message and Marc called me back, as promised on the greeting, within the hour. He was wonderful and patiently listened to my sad tale of desperation and woe. Just the calming response I needed. I won't detail all of the back and forth I subjected him to. I will just say he was extremely responsive and helpful and scheduled an appt for me that worked with my schedule. It turns out that I didn't need to use Marc's services - I was able to get in and replace the deadbolt without the need for a locksmith. HOWEVER - if I ever need the services of a locksmith, Marc with Cole Hardware will be my first call.... without hesitation.
