I have had previous bad experiences with ABC Warehouse, but I decided to give them another shot. Last February, I ordered a washer and dryer from them (this being the "another shot"). I was scheduled for delivery, left work, and they never showed up. I called and they said I wasn't on the schedule at all. We rescheduled. I left work and waited. The driver called me from nearby to double-check that I actually wanted both an electric dryer and a gas dryer (which were the two items they had on the truck). Of course, that is not what I ordered, so they took both items back to the warehouse and rescheduled again. I left work and waited. I eventually called to ask where they were and they told me my appliances had already been delivered (on the day/time the driver called to ask if I wanted two dryers). Once I explained what happened (and they confirmed the situation as if I was just making it up to get another set), we rescheduled. Finally! I get my washer and dryer. It's been weeks, at this point. The washer didn't work from the moment it was plugged in. I called to let them know and they told me I had to go through the warranty company. I (very frustrated, already) called the warranty company. The agent I spoke to told me that is complete nonsense. They delivered a defective unit to me and I needed to call them back and demand a replacement. I did and they delivered a new one, with every person I spoke to along the way telling me how they were doing me a big favor...for replacing a defective unit they delivered to my house...RIDICULOUS! Well...here we are, just over a year later. The washer no longer locks or spins...and guess what? My warranty is up as well. I KNEW not to go back. I knew. Yet, I tried again. I am the queen of second (and third and fourth) chances. (That's why they didn't get a bad review a year ago.) Never again, though. I don't know how in the world they are still in business. I am very disappointed with ABC Warehouse and specifically one of their employees. I do not know his name, but he needs to be fired. He did not attempt to listen to a simple issue I was having and instead chose to bate me and make me seem like I was an idiot and upset me. Then he had the audacity to say to others at the store that he had dealt with me on a TV and that is why he treated me HORRIBLY. I have never had an issue with them in the past, and I have bought thousands of dollars' worth of items from them. Not just this, but I did not receive what I purchased. And they did not complete the installation as they stated they would. So, needless to say, my car started doesn't work correctly and they are unwilling to help!! read more

I highly recommend this ABC Warehouse, specifically Rodney. I shopped for so long for a refrigerator that fit my preferences and budget. Rodney listened and found me one within minutes. It was delivered in a day but ended up not working in our space. Rodney had it picked back up with a new one delivered the next day and price matched everything (zero extra charges!). We didn't even have to come back to the store. He was just so kind and helpful. Rodney is the man. read more

I took my parents there in Feb 2015 to look for TV and wash machine. This store has good choices of brands, and range of prices from the very affordable basic ones to the more expensive fancy ones. The customer service is fabulous. Not only was our sales rep "Sam" so helpful and knowledgeable, I also observed other customers having similar experiences. They do not try to sell you the most expensive model, but ask the right questions to determine what would work best for you, and then recommend matches for your needs. While prices may be comparable to Costco or Best Buy, ABC has more service component to their products, and offered to take care of delivery and set up - something we very much needed as my parents are elderly and I live far away. I will never buy anything from them again. I spent over $4,00.00 and in black and white it is clearly stated "What to Expect" Refrigerator Delivered, set in place and leveled.......... I called the General Mgr, Brandon Dean and told him the delivery men said they do not do anything but deliver because of liability purposes. This place is full of shit... Bought a car stereo system sold me the rong wire harness for my car... Went bac the next day they said the guy wasn't there to handle my situation... Came back nex day same shit... Hafta order my own harnesscoff line... Got it yesterday plugged it to the radio and my dash and the freaking radio don't even power on... Went bac to the store again with radio and receipt... Again the guy ain't there been almost two weeks now and my shit still ain't workin... Fk ABC warehouse.... I can honestly say I've never had such sh*tty customer service from anywhere except ABC Warehouse on Monroe Street (Sylvania, Ohio). The return policy for most stores is 30 days with receipt. There were no printings on the receipt that says YOU CANNOT RETURN. My cousin purchased a Television from Hussein Salami on Dec. 5th 2011. He brought it home and didn't like it. On Wed, Dec 7th (2 days later), my uncle talked to a Rodney Williams who said he absolutely cannot return it and that a NO is a NO. My uncle said he would call news media and Rodney said, "Go ahead." About an hour later, I called and spoke to Hussein who 'claims' he cannot make a return and he has nothing to do with returns, won't take this call but forwarded me to the returns desk (ask him who he transferred me to because I think 'Matt' might be a fake name for this man). Upon hearing that we wanted to return the television, "Matt" replies, "So you watched the tv for 2 days and now you don't like it? Why?" My reply was, "He doesn't like there, is there supposed to be another reason to return it?" He proceeds to ask again, "What made him change his mind that he would watch tv for 2 days and then return it?" FOR ASSUMING THAT WE WATCHED TV FOR 2 DAYS AUTOMATICALLY? Not that I owed any explanation but no, we did not watch tv for 2 days. It's called a job, and we didn't have time to return it right away. "Matt" claimed there was a 10% restocking fee. That was not on the receipt either. I didn't count how many times he asked me why we didn't want the tv but he CLEARLY was not wanting to accept it back. I told him I would take it to 13 Action News. He said, "Good for you." I ask, "Do you treat all your customers like this?" He tells me, "I DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER THAT." My sister then called the Heartline (something along the lines in the brochure said, "It is unlikely that you have problems resolving an issue but if you do, call this number). She also called regional manager and found a way to get in touch with Mr. Dave. Mr. Dave called back quickly to resolve the issue. I'm not sure what words were exchanged but was disappointed when he told my sister there was a lack of communication. Clearly there wasn't with my run in with unprofessional "Matt" and Rodney's words with my uncle. I wish I recorded the whole conversation to put on the internet to show the unprofessionalism. I'm wondering if they "record calls for quality purposes." I would love for the Regional/District manager to hear it. Mr. Dave still fixed the situation and gave the okay for a FULL refund. Thank you, Mr. Dave. Maybe it's the fact that both my uncle and my cousin have accents that they thought they would outsmart the situation and tell them "No returns." That's prejudice. I'm wondering who trained these associates to be so heartless/cold. I've worked in customer service for 5 years; therefore I know how everything works (Return policies/customer care). I'm also wondering why "Matt" thought it was okay to argue with a customer. I've always used this motto: "Put customers first! If they are not satisfied, work with them to satisfy them. DO NO agitate them even more. Even if they do come to you rudely, you always make their experience better and they then appreciate you, your service, and your company." With that said, I will NEVER recommend this store and NEVER make purchases from here. Why turn a simple transaction into something this unnecessary? read more

Went in to get a stereo and speakers for my old Jeep and "Chris" helped find the correct size of speaker (smallest ones). He showed the selection of stereos and explained the differences. They did not have the speakers I needed in stock so they ordered them from a different store to be delivered to that store within the next week. Chris had a speech impediment I think but it did not effect his outstanding knowledge of the audio industry. He applied deals to my ideas for buying the whole set. Also offered a good priced warranty. Very happy with my purchase. read more

This is a much needed review for a very bad experience. And we have shopped here for years! We spent two days going to many stores for the right furniture for our family. And at the end of day two we decided that ABC had the furniture and price that we wanted. We had the WORST salesman of the century. His name was Richard, an older gentleman with a sort of rude cocky type of personality, and that wasn't even the issue at that moment. The guy came off as knowing what he was doing, so the cockiness was fine. We had been to so many places I was at my wits end with the run around, we let him know we wanted the exact number with taxes if we bought the entire package of furniture. Richard came back with a number that made us so very happy! All was well. We went over what we wanted again and again with him. We talked about electronic versus manual furniture, we even agreed to one piece being manual if that meant we could get it all at the same time. Anyways, things went well. Next came the cash register. The other employees, all of them had to get on his case about everything. He didn't know what he was doing. He didn't know how to look up the stock correctly. He told us we could switch up our package and the other guy told us no that isn't something you can do. Fine. We didn't have a problem. Richard said it would cost $200 more, we said no problem. Good news was the furniture with the electronic buttons (to recline) was all coming in and we could have the furniture soon. We even threw in another recliner and used the free tv that we didn't want as a $300 credit we THOUGHT towards the chair we added. Richard continued to need help adjusting our package and begging another guy to not leave because he didn't know what he was doing. Meanwhile his phone is ringing and he is answering it and bickering with his wife about an alarm going off. He mutters this is why I drink and another employee lets him know he isn't happy about him answering the phone. (He's done it twice.) Richard doesn't even end up finishing our paperwork for the sale, the lady does. And off we go bought and paid for. It will be delivered in a couple of days. We are happy, we searched all over Toledo and Sylvania and found the furniture we wanted. Tuesday comes, the movers come around noon. They were wonderful. Shout out to them for being so polite and thorough about the whole process. They start bringing in my furniture and tell me um we don't have a loveseat. I say, no that can't be we had a couch, loveseat, recliner, tables and lamps. We brought one of the recliners home ourselves the day we paid for it all. He says no there isn't one. You will want to contact the store and talk to Richard the guy who sold it to you. I do that. I call, Richard comes to the phone he says he's been gone for three days he is not sure what is going on. Or why my loveseat isn't part of the delivery. He says maybe it wasn't in stock. He will look into it and call me back. He calls back and runs around in a circle and then says there are different packages. I told him no, we discussed all of this. We talked about what we wanted, we went over it time and time again. We even had conversation about the loveseat that we were told was part of the deal. He was in a hurry to get off the phone and see what the deal was with it and said he would call me back. He never did. And I even held off writing a review and gave him another day to call me and say anything. Moral of the story one should know how to do their job and know about the company they work for and what packages they offer. Richard should not have promised things that he knew nothing about to make a sale. Richard should also stay off his phone and do his job. Maybe if he wasn't doing other things he would have been able to catch these issues. We figured it out on our own. The loveseat wasn't part of the package we got and he said it was. If he would have known what he was doing he could have offered to add that loveseat to what we were buying or told us it wasn't possible. Telling customers they are getting something and then skirting out at the last minute when the crap hits the fan is not professional. The least he could have done was call and apologize for misleading us. The fact that he didn't, I will no longer be going to ABC warehouse anymore and dealing with that man. Bait and Switch is alive and well at this location. After spending 30 minutes for someone to find the price of a floor (in stock) item, I purchased it. It was "in stock", just not at this location so it would take a couple days to arrive. When it arrived, I asked them to open the box first to confirm my purchase. It was not the same item that the salesman and I were looking at 2 days earlier. So the salesman starts to back pedal and tells me, Oh.. you wanted that one" that's $400 more than this one. Again, the salesman and manager spent 30 minutes trying to find the price of the item I was buying so they knew very well which one I wanted and they ordered. After I rejected the wrong item that was ordered, he offered to sell me a completely different floor model for $200 more. I wont step foot in another ABC warehouse ever again. read more

the quality of their merchandise is GREAT. i got a black friday week tv from there and its running better than my girlfriend's tv which she paid alot more for. the not so great part is that they don't have any idea what they're selling to you. i bought a tv as a gift for someone and the sound was terrible......$600 worth of terrible. so i returned it for a different model and got another one...yea....giant overpriced tv with one set of AV jacks......do they think people dont own dvd players and cable boxes? the person assured me i "didnt know what i was talking about when it came to tv's" then the sales person who was saying how they were the person in charge etc etc....but why did they lie to me about the tv features knowing full well i looked all over and only saw one set of AV jacks? this is what you get when you walk into somewhere knowing your stuff about electronics. the run around, etc. read more
