Going to a GreenHawks game is certainly different from any NBA game that I have been to. We paid the extra $5 and got court-side seats (seats are $10 for general admission and $15 for court-side). The players actually interact with the fans in the stands and on several occasion, we found them talking to fans when ready to inbound the ball. During timeouts and halftime, they have a GreenHawks dance team, t-shirt toss, burrito giveaway etc. They even have an autograph session and shoot around with the players after the game. I highly recommend checking them out! Why spend all of that money to see the Wizards, when you can come see the GreenHawks. You won't be disappointed!

The food is okay. The whole facility is well kept. Everything is in very good condition and well maintained. I didn't see one piece of trash on the floor and if there was trash on the floor it was cleaned up quickly. There is not a bad seat in the house. You can sit up close or in the upper seats and still have a great seat, unless you are near the outfield. The staff are very helpful. The only problem with the stadium is the heat that gets trapped in the walkway on hot days. We stood in the concession line and my nieces and nephews nearly exhausted themselves because of the heat.

I've passed the stadium many times as it's located just off Interstate 95 in northern Maryland and can be seen from the highway. It's one of the few minor league ballparks I've visited with free parking. Tickets are a bit more expensive than other minor league games I've been to, but still substantially cheaper than attending a MLB game, and you're much closer to the action on the field. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the ballpark, and the sightlines are great regardless of where you're sitting. There are picnic tables and a kids play area set up in left field. As is typical of sporting venues, concessions are overpriced and the hot dogs, nachos, ice cream, and other food items our group tried were pretty underwhelming in terms of quality. The team store had a decent variety of merchandise, but was similarly overpriced. Many of the concession stands were closed with low attendance for an April game against the Brooklyn Cyclones, but I'm sure they open up when the summer season ramps up and attendance rises. Overall, it was a fun and low maintenance day at the ballpark, but I'd rank the overall experience a 3.5/5 at best compared to other minor league ballparks I've been to.

Woah. WHAT WHAT? A couple things that have blown my mind…read more 1) There is a Major League Lacrosse team. Like, at all. and 2) ANNAPOLIS has a league. WHAAAAAAT? Right? I'm confused and blown too. My husband played lacrosse in high school and loved it. He had always played football and was a football jock (ugh, I know, I hate them too...fortunately, he's lovable enough to overcome this unfortunate flaw), but when his best friend in HS introduced him to lacrosse, he found what really made him happy. So one day, we're out, and having dinner when the bartender turns the TV to a lacrosse game. My husband immediately is rivited and starts explaining why I should be utterly fascinated by this. As he's talking, the guy sitting next to him, starts telling him about the Annapolis team...and how we're actually pretty good. WHAT WHAT? We have a *league*?!? So, clearly, tickets were immediately purchased and the next thing I know, I'm sitting on the first row, at the 50 yard line, watching incredibly adorably hot guys run past. Right. Best part about lacrosse: uber hot guys. Second best part about lacrosse: uber cheap tickets. We were sitting at the 50 yard line, front row...and tickets were something like $25 each. Third best part about lacrosse? Sitting 10 feet away, staring at uber hot guys. Seriously, why didn't anyone ever tell me about this???!!!??? Arguably, my new favorite sport in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD now. Um...I think we won. I really wasn't paying attention. But my husband had a blast, I had a surprisingly good time, and, again...uber hot guys. Right.

I also appreciate that the stairs aren't steep and the seating is pretty comfortable. The stadium boasts that it's cashless but some stands do accept cash. The new lighting is great. It cut down on the mayfly issue considerably! I'm loving the support for local businesses. This is the first large center I've gone to that offered Middlesworth chips as opposed to a national brand. Lots of adult beverage options if that's your thing All and all, just a really pleasant and comfortable experience. You should come out to support our local baseball team!! I don't think you'll be disappointed, they're pretty awesome.

Thought process on my review: Prior to arrival: 4 stars for…read morecelery bobblehead giveaway, -1 because there are only 500 Upon arrival: 5 stars because I got the celery bobblehead. Prior to the game: 3 stars because the netting goes all the way down both baselines and you can't walk around the stadium. During the game: 4 stars, a good number of promotions, good sightlines, plenty of foul balls to catch. After the game: It was an exciting comeback by the visiting Renegades (my own High A team as a Yankees fan) and the moose came to visit our section, so a grudging 5 stars. But the celery should also have come and visited us! Just saying for next time.

I absolutely refuse to return to this arena and play due to the lack of professionalism of the referees utilized at this arena. I am not certain who runs the referees, but it is not the local associaton of referees. I have been a referee for over 10 years and am embarassed by the lack of professionalism and effort put forth by the staff at this arena. After playing in several leagues, I refused to return due to the officiating staff doing the absolute minimum and not looking out for the safety of the players. There is one rule in officiating. Safety first. I watched numerous cheap shots by players that could do damage to other players with the officials leaning against the boards with the whistle in their mouth. For the rate they are receiving per game, they should be putting forth a much greater effort.

The park is nicer and easier to get into. Parking is cheaper. The lines are shorter, the food is better, the people seem to have more fun. The emphasis at a Revs game seems to be on fun. Seeing a Senators game seems like a way for the team and the stadium to extract money out of customers and do the least they can in the way of providing a fun experience. Tonight the Revs lost but it was still a pleasure to attend the game, eat ballpark food, and watch the outstanding fireworks afterward.

Food options were nice and not crazy expensive. They had all these freebies - baseball caps, pens, pencils, lanyards, ponchos, even candy! I don't know, though, if this was a special thing or is every game. There was a lot to hold an 8-year- old's interest- fun games and silliness between innings. The Saturday fireworks were canceled due to lateness of the game (rain delay) and the noise ordinance in the city, but all were given the opportunity to come back for free to another game. I mean can you ask for anything more? My daughter, not a baseball fan, said "this was a lot better than I imagined."
