We were able to schedule a couple of drive lessons with the same instructor, as well as with other instructors for how different people teach. The drive test refresher was also a welcome lesson. John H. was amazing! We had arranged he would pick up our son from the house and then we would meet them at the DMV for the scheduled drive test. We had a little paperwork issue which was my fault, but John was there and got me the right contact to be able to remedy the issue quickly and still be able to take the drive test. He was very patient and easy to talk to and always showed up to my house early or on time. Starting out, if you just follow EVERYTHING he tells you to do, then things will start to make sense and driving becomes sort of second nature. I love their car because it's fun, comfortable, and easy to use. My 2 problems with them is after 10 hours of driving lessons, I still didn't know how to park and be a safe driver. After them, I can drive but not well. And last thing, my instructor always interfered with my steering wheel. I totally appreciate it starting off because I sucked but by the last few lessons, I felt like I got the hang of it and just needed practice but I didn't learn when he was always taking over the wheel. Overall my experience was good and I do recommend them for any type of driver including first time drivers. But if you're a first time driver, don't expect to be great by the end of it. A tiny little funny Mexican guy who started the lesson with the most disgusting story about another driving student but I don't believe it was even true just his attempt at taking a passive jab at me. I had to get in defense mode all while doing a lesson and had to smile and play nice with him because I didnt want to ruin my experience getting on his level. I can't imagine a child going through this with him or maybe the child would not catch his drift seeing how he does it with these little made up stories as if he wanted to be a comedian but missed his calling. It was very odd experience and I chalked it up to the fact he may have been intimidated by me because he is like a tiny little circus man and I'm a woman who is way taller and bigger than him so he may have been trying to passively establish some type of dominance, but that was just weird his language he uses everything was weird. It felt like going to a late night bar with a drunken clown who thinks he's funny in the audience. Like why am I'm paying to go through this.
