Went through their drive thru, I've given it a try multiple times and never satisfied. They can't hear you in their speaker and get your order wrong because they can't hear. I called while in the drive through to correct my order, lady was really rude saying she "already told me my order" when I'm asking to correct it lol. Waiting still for my food in the drive through for more than 15 mins. Maybe new speaker/microphone is needed and better customer service? ‍ read more

Not a fan. Wanted tamales. ...but they didnt have..ended up with carne asada torta. Couldn't eat mine too much lettuce and dried out carne asada. This seems like a failed food truck with carved up tables, decorative plaques by our table were falling apart. And we had remnants of a street light or sign laying against the window. I drive up I-5 from South Salem at least 3 times a week to get the carne asade burrito along with there awesome salsa bar fixings. The owner and employees are so friendly its like going home every time you go there. The place is clean and the food is priced right and you can even find coupons in the local paper. All and all its the best place in Salem for Mexican food I believe, try it and you be the judge. read more

Came here the other day (after having an awful experience at taco del mar). Picked up a carne asada torta. It was pretty tasty, not the best I've had but good. Not bad, not great, lots of food for the money. Salsas weren't hot enough, any of them. Chips were super oily. The chili rellano was a classic, nice egg batter on the outside stuffed with melting cheese inside. Beans were OK, rice was bland and easy to hate. The chicken taco was OK, not the worst, not the best, just ok. Prices were reasonable, higher than AZ for an equivalent place (Filibertos) but low for the PacNW. read more

The food is generally good, wait times for the drive-through are sometimes long (but not bad for a two-man cook crew), and the staff has always been friendly. The biggest complaint I have is about reciprocating orders...I can never seem to get the same thing twice. I've thrown away mis-made burritoes from Aiberto's in the past. My GF likes nachos with the condiments on the side...they can't seem to figure out how to make those the same way twice (sometimes she gets very little cheese for some reason?) and the condiments come in different-sized cups, etc, etc. Once I was approached by drunk homeless guys demanding money while waiting in the drive-through at night! The abandoned, dilapidated old Chelsea's building across from Aiberto's doesn't help with the seedy look of the location. Altogether not a bad place to eat, but make sure you pronounce your desires clearly and make sure the staff understands it and check your order before leaving the drive-through! read more

I think this place is fantastic. Good food, some of it delicious, reasonably priced, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The mini fish tacos for 99 cents are fabulous! Could happily eat ten of them, haven't, but they are that good. The shredded chicken burrito is my favorite thing so far, they have a nice burrito combo with rice and beans and a drink for $5.50 between 11am & 7pm. The chimichanga is pretty good. I really want to try the carnitas and chili relleno. I have had a mini carne asada taco, which was delightful, so much so that I thought to try the carne asada chips. Like nachos with carne asada. OMG, so salty! I couldn't eat them but I know they're popular, so gave them away. Plus, the night I ordered them, I didn't find out that they didn't have my favorite salsa for some reason? Their standard red salsa is wonderful. Nachos suck without salsa imo. Their salsa verde is really good too. I also enjoy the pickled carrots, onions and peppers at the salsa bar. Such an interesting crunchy snack. I would like to try some of the specialty drinks sometime, especially the pina and the horchata. I have also had the bacon breakfast burrito, which was huge. The food was alright. The chef must smoke alot or something though because the food was pretty salty. But it was still tolerable.

My friend and traveling buddy found this on yelp while we were driving home from SeattIe. I had the shrimp burrito. It was pretty tasty and had plenty of shrimp. Service was good and we got to witness someone get roses for her birthday. A nice little place and I will definitely stop again the next time I'm passing through. read more

This place was fantastic. I had the combo plate with a chili relleno, a taco and a cheese enchilada. Hubby had the rolled tacos ( I call them flautas). Including two iced teas, our tab was right under $12. The sauces were delicious (and that sign that says the Habanero is spicy...take notice!) and the food was fresh and tasty. The chili relleno was equal parts pepper and cheese (versus an anemic pepper). You can't beat the food for the price but I would have paid more for the quality (but don't raise prices!). The service was great - the fellow working there was as friendly as they come and he was busily cleaning the place in between customers. most of the time the food is really great. beans are sometimes really salty and sometimes the food is just thrown together. But watching how quickly they can throw together a burrito is amazing. everyone who works there is really nice but sometimes there are communication problems. It seems as if the employees don't care anymore. Sending people home with the wrong orders multiple times. They need to slow down before they lose more customers. I used to love this place but 4 of the last 5 times we've got food for here they have gotten the orders wrong. Whether it be the meat or today they put a quesadilla instead of French fry nachos! I have been eating here at least once a week for a couple of years. We always do the drive-thru and the employees and owner are always very friendly and nice. We always have changes to our order such as no cheese or meat because of diet restrictions and 98% of the time it is correct. The couple of times, it wasn't we just went back and it was fixed immediately in a friendly manner. The food has always been excellent and the employees and owner are always willing to work with you. If you have an issue, I would bring it up at the time and they will work it out. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. I was raised in Southern California with my siblings and last time they visited I turned them on to Aiberto's and they raved about it also. I highly recommend. Just ate here for the first time and it was delicious! Ordered the pollo asado burrito and I think it was the best I've ever had! Service was also super friendly and fast. Their burritos are good when the meat is not burnt and it doesn't really matter what time you go they NEVER have churros!
