I had planned on doing 4 procedures, which totaled $37,300 in 2 weeks. Initially, I was assured, even prior to booking the first consult that there would be no problem in filling out short term leave for work and that I could have more consults if I had any questions. The first consult went well, but after I did have initial questions, so I scheduled a second - about a couple weeks later, which also went well. I felt like she understood what I was looking for and we were completely aligned. I was excited and looking forward to getting the paperwork done. Fast forward to today, I went into complete pre-op paperwork and was specifically asked to come in the AM and come earlier then original time, I agreed. I was there exactly at my appointment time and brought my family with me. As I sat there, time went by and I asked the ladies in the front how much longer as I needed to get back to work, I was called 40 minutes after my appointment. I wasn't happy about this and did express it to the staff but needed to get the paperwork done and ask a few more questions to Dr. Hustak. The medical assistants were nice and said the Dr. wanted to talk to me prior to signing, so I said ok. Dr. Hustak came in like a storm, sat down and started to share how concerned she was regarding what had happened. It felt like a mom scolding a child. I listened and shared my perspective, she was very emotional and upset, went on to gaslight me by saying I created a "toxic work environment" by expressing upset about the wait. She then started to revisit items, that before - we discussed and she was fine, but now she suddenly had concerns. We went over everything and had a decent conversation, but it almost felt like I was testifying and being attacked at the same time. The previous bubbly and friendly doctor turned into this angry person and showed her true colors. She may be a board-certified plastic surgeon, but she has a temper, low emotional intelligence and a fragile ego that was easily broken by a patient expressing discontentment about the 40 min wait. She offered a refund of the deposit, if I changed my mind even after signing the paperwork. Even after she left, I did not feel good about the situation and did not sign the paperwork, I let the assistants know I would have to think it over. We were about to leave, when the CEO Karen came in and asked, "how can I help you?" We didn't ask for her nor were expecting her, but her tone came across like we had done something wrong. Amy her Healthcare Coordinator was completely different too, she went from friendly, to like we had committed some crime and avoided eye contact. I ended up paying for the consult and getting a refund for the deposit in full as it felt like this was not a good fit for a mutual collaborative exchange. I left there shocked, completely in awe of the extreme change, and counted my blessings to God because the last thing I need is a doctor with a huge EGO and ANGER MGT issues operating on me. So, in a nutshell, if you stand up and advocate for yourself, ask questions/share concerns, they take it personal and WILL GANG UP ON YOU. They will GASLIGHT YOU, they will completely CHANGE. It is one thing to research a surgeon who may have the skills, certification, memberships, etc... but always remember the bedside manner and how they treat you when something goes wrong is the true character of the person under all the degrees.

I was told this was something I was "born with" and that it was swelling, but this was not discussed with me prior to surgery. I was sent articles after the surgery to educate me instead of before. Six months later, I proceeded with a paid revision. During that procedure, I experienced significant pain and expressed that multiple times. The procedure continued, and the final result was not reviewed with me as previously discussed. Fat was also taken from my inner thighs during the revision. I was told this would not leave visible marks, but I now have noticeable indentations in those areas. At this point, my arms are still uneven in size, with my left arm significantly smaller than my right. My right arm looks like I have a deformed elbow. I also continue to have a visible pink scar along my tummy tuck incision nearly two years later. I still experience swelling in my right hand more than a year after the revision, which I raised concerns about and didn't hear anything back. I attempted to follow up multiple times regarding these concerns, including sending messages that did not receive a response. I was later formally dismissed as a patient and was unable to complete previously discussed follow-up care, including scar treatment and minor corrections. I received a certified letter stating I was no longer her patient after I told her that I didn't feel emotionally or physically safe. The revision hurt more than it should, verbally being told different of many things took an emotional toll on me. After requesting my medical records, it took several months and multiple follow-ups to receive them. This experience took a significant toll on me during the healing process. I also found myself unable to leave feedback on some platforms after being blocked. If I could do it again, I would take more time researching and ensuring all expectations, risks, and follow-up care are clearly documented in advance.

So disappointed in my surgical results…read more I lost a LOT of weight and went to Dr. Rednam to remove the excess skin on my arms and extending down my sides. This was my first post-weight loss surgery and I had an extended brachioplasty in July 2019 with Dr. Rednam. Her office is incredibly clean, professional, and the staff is all kind and responsive. I had surgery at the facility next door. Surgery went fine. The doctor was responsive when I had questions and my appointments were always on time. Too much skin was removed on my left arm and not enough on my right. I had a tight band of skin on my left arm and it was limiting range of motion. Dr. Rednam advised that I wait at least 6 months to allow healing and the skin to adjust. I agreed and at 6 months, the skin was still far too tight on the left arm and too loose on the right. I went in for an additional procedure on each arm with her to loosen the skin on one arm and tighten the other. This cost ME an additional fee. It was done in office. The too loose arm is much better and the too tight arm is still a little too tight. Once you take away too much skin, you can't put it back. She made an attempt to loosen the skin by doing a zig zag incision and that certainly helped but it's not "fix". In addition, from the moment I unwrapped by arms from the original procedure, I was surprised at the crudeness and coarseness of the sutures and skin puckering. I had puckering skin and an uneven appearance. I had hoped that over time it would smooth out. It did a bit but it still looks bad. I have shown my arms to several other surgeons and of course, no doctor wants to say anything negative about another doctor, but I have had it confirmed to me that the appearance is result are not what should be expected from the surgery. I had lost a lot of weight and my arms had no extra fat on them. Therefore, it was just skin removed and no liposuction to remove additional fat. I am left with skin that is too tight on my arm near the elbow and an elbow with little to no padding because of the removal of too much skin and tissue. It has been over 2 years since the surgery and the skin and scar still look bad but more importantly it is not as functional as I had hoped or expected. I cannot rest on the elbow back of the lack of tissue. There is still a tightness to the skin and a slight band on too tight skin when I flex my arm. I know all surgeries come with inherent risks and I was prepared for that. I had previously had 5 required orthopedic surgeries, so I wasn't a novice to surgery. Unfortunately, this is (in my opinion) doctor error during surgery. I am also disappointed that I was charged for a corrective procedure.

I initially purchased a Groupon for Restylane filler because the advertisement specifically indicated it could be used for lines around the mouth. However, once I arrived for my appointment, I was told that the filler included in the Groupon was not appropriate for that area and was encouraged to purchase a different, more expensive filler instead, which immediately felt misleading. I was told I needed three syringes to achieve the desired result. Yet after the second syringe and part of the third had been used, the doctor began asking me where I wanted the remaining filler injected. If three syringes were truly necessary to address my concerns, it was confusing that there was product left over. Unfortunately, eight months later, I still have visible bumps and small lumps on the left side of my chin from the filler placement (see photo). The clinic offered to dissolve the filler, but that would have meant losing the money I had already spent, and after the outcome I experienced, I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with additional corrective treatment. To make matters worse, the original lines I wanted treated remain visible, and I was told I would need to purchase another syringe if I wanted further improvement. My experience with the weight-loss program was equally disappointing. Before visiting the clinic, I was told the injections started at $499 per month (see photo). What was not disclosed beforehand was the additional physician consultation fee and the strong push to purchase "muscle mass" injections. Rather than being presented as an optional add-on, these injections were insistently recommended, with emphasis placed on the muscle loss that could occur if I did not purchase them. As someone seeking help with weight loss, this felt less like a medical recommendation and more like fear-based sales pressure. By the time all the additional charges were added, I had spent nearly $900. Despite the expense, I experienced absolutely no reduction in appetite, cravings, portion sizes, or feelings of fullness. I also did not lose weight. When I contacted the clinic to explain that the medication appeared to be having no effect whatsoever, I was surprised by the response. What concerned me most was that I was offered Phentermine (see photo), an appetite suppressant with a long list of potential side effects, including cardiovascular risks. My medical records clearly indicate that I have a history of irregular heartbeats, yet this medication was still recommended. Thankfully, I always research medications before taking them and decided not to proceed. This raised serious concerns for me about whether patient medical histories and safety considerations were being adequately reviewed before treatment recommendations were made. Throughout my interactions with the clinic, I repeatedly felt that transparency took a back seat to upselling. The Groupon led to a more expensive filler. The advertised weight-loss price grew substantially once I was in the office. Additional injections were strongly encouraged. When treatments failed to produce results, the solution seemed to be purchasing more products or services. I understand that not every treatment works the same way for every patient, and I recognize that medical outcomes cannot be guaranteed. However, patients deserve clear pricing, honest expectations, individualized medical care, and treatment recommendations that prioritize their well-being over additional sales. Between the filler complications that remain visible months later, the lack of results from the weight-loss program, the unexpected costs, and the recommendation of a medication that appeared inappropriate given my medical history, I cannot recommend this clinic. I hope my experience helps others ask the right questions and carefully research their options before committing to treatment.
