I didn't write a review. last week, after the deluge, our new carpet in the basement was damp in a couple of places. after dry vacuuming, it was better and we left strong fans going. stil, this week, it was damp. I called our contact at the store, Lisa, and she encouraged me to call Mike. she gave me his cell phone number at 620 pm tonight, he came over and showed us the reason it was still a little damp. we had very good padding that insured that the carpet would not get ruined-but beneath the padding the floor remained wet. He cut out several feet of padding and said he would get back to us to replace it in a couple of days. When people tell you to support small family businesses, do it. Evans did their job in July. They sold good carpet and installed it. They had no responsibility to provide additional service--but they did!!! I cannot say enough about this store, their team and their work ethic.
