My mom has been happy with the treatment but the front office staff has always been very rude.

I just called for the first time right now and the receptionist was so rude, short and very unprofessional! I just read the other reviews, and I can see this is not the place I want to invest my time in. Due to my first impression of the first phone call, I immediately called my insurance and asked to refer me to a different location. Im not going to waste my time here. Been taking my 80 year old grandfather here for the past month, and he loves it. The staff is so kind, they're quick on their feet, they let him take his time. My grandpa looks forward to coming every week. The therapist that massages his lower back is an absolute angel, she speaks Spanish and communicates directly to my grandpa. Overall 10/10. It's not fancy here, but it's cleans, it's straight to the point, it's cozy and humble, it's not intimidating. read more

I had a traumatic leg injury, and was recommended here by my insurance. I'm midway through my sessions and I feel my leg getting less tense and painful already! They make me do exercise here and at home, and do electric shock therapy for my muscles and nerves. It really helps! And then they finish with a massage that hurts good! Heard great things about this facility and the wonderful work they do and had to get in. I had to wait a couple weeks, but it was worth it. My shoulder has dramatically improved and the pain is almost gone. Most of my range of motion is back to normal. The people who work there are very professional and helpful. I came to Fema Pt for my shoulder pain. I had massage therapist Elena, when she walked over to me, she just yanked the heating pad from my shoulder. She asked me where my pain was and I told her its on my shoulder and she started massaging it. When she was massaging, I felt like she was stabbing me with her nails, I told her it was to hard and it was beginning to hurt. She scoffed at me and it sounded like she made a remark under her breath. It was a very painful experience, I understand massages can be painful, but this was beyond horrible, plus her attitude didn't help at all. I've been coming here for physical therapy twice a week for about a month now for my knee and am treated like I've been coming for years. Everyone here is wonderful. Also so happy and friendly. I was in Kaiser physical therapy for 8 months until I said ENOUGH! I changed my insurance and I was referred to Fema to continue physical therapy after my surgery. They communicate well, they do their job well, and they overall do their job well. The place is also very clean as well as the machines. They practice COVID safety protocols well, too. I went to the place and they didn't have my referral and when I told him I would get it the old guy that works there got a major attitude. He started yelling and we walked out. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I honestly think or suspect that they are trying to get out of giving us therapy. We are now going to a different place that's way better and very very wonderful. The new place we're going to is meeting our needs and helping us recover. I am never going back to this place again. I have been a patient of this therapy center for about 2 1/2 years now. I suffer from chronic back pain for many years. I currently have multiple herniated disks, sciatica, numbness, tingling in my legs. Plus other crap from just getting older. Since I have spent so much time here, I think can give a review of my experience. There are very few things that make my day better, pain wise, so I can try to get back to a better quality of life. FEMA Physical Therapy Center & their staff are something I have certainly grown to count on for help. I regularly have two appointments a week here at the center. With this schedule of mine, plus other weekly Dr appointments, I occasionally have scheduling issues. Other times, I've had to cancel an appointment with them, simply for personal issues. Such as my car didn't work, sick, etc. From my very first visit, to be evaluated, and treated, I've had the same level of care and great customer service, both on the phone & during my office visits. I have never had any issue at all with my last minute scheduling issues. Most places(I've been to many over the years) would charge cancellation fees, have limited rescheduling availability, etc. I've never had this problem here. As often as I've been a patient here & for the length of time, I regret it's happened more than I'd liked. I hate to have to miss. In addition to ease of scheduling & getting my therapy, my payment & Processing is always quick and easy. Even when it's a busy day. This brings up another thing with their customer service. I've been there when it's just me and someone else and I've been there when it is really busy. Like any place, the business fluctuates sometimes. I've grown to prefer my appointments on the same days & times as much as I can. But regardless of if it's busy or not, I always get great personal attention from everyone. They check on how I'm doing constantly. Every exercise,is it ok, do I need anything, etc. they all hustle around here to take care of every patient. I don't know how they do it sometimes. Having been in the customer service industry for decades, I appreciate all their work ethic and friendly personal touch. They seem to know everyone so well. How are you, conditions, family whatever. I always get hello & good bye from everyone as I'm coming & going. One thing that is rare, is the consistency that I have enjoyed & appreciated. Since I've been a patient for so long now, I am uniquely able to see how they perform this level of care & service for everyone. Some people are lucky...just had some surgery & need some therapy for weeks to heal up. Others may be like me...chronic conditions that my doctors have decided not to take any surgical route for my care. Another cool thing, is whenever I have a question about my care or condition, anyone will gladly answer or get me an answer. For example if I'm feeling good, I'll ask is I can try hiking for instance. Or, they may suggest stretches, or exercises I can do at home that can help me in dealing with pain, etc. now matter how bad I'm feeling, I know that when I leave my appointment I will be feeling better than I when I arrived! Over my life time, I have had both great care and care so lacking that I quite and went somewhere else. So, my life experience has taught me that when you have physical problems, therapy can always make it better. FEMA Physical Therapy Center helps so many people. I've seen so many people come & go in my time there. I've seen the smiling and thanking the staff all the time. I've never witnessed any of the issues, some of these older posts wrote about. I read all the reviews, before I even agreed to go here! Then, I listened and watched and learned this was a place for me. I ride through crazy traffic two times a week to go here. With my experience, I would recommend this place if you need any type PT. I know, I forgetting more things I'd like to mention. Oh, I LOVE how they decorate for all the holidays! It's so rare to see in medical places. I know it doesn't matter towards my care, but the happy, positive vibe is something I really enjoy. So for me, it's made this place special. I'm usually tense after my crazy morning trip to get there, but I get my friendly greeting & smile and right then, they are already fixing me. He he. I'm not going lie I was a little hesitant with the lack of reviews/pictures and location BUT place is a gem. Great physical therapist I believe it's husband/wife owned. The husband works with the larger and specializes ACL tears wife works with everyone else. First impression, wife is very straight forward so wasn't sure how to take it but that's kind of just their culture. If you can get past that let me tell you this place is a GEM. This is my second ACL Tear first one on left knee, went to PT at another place never came back after the first week. They kept me doing the same thing over and over so I was expecting that coming here. Nope, the husband (I apologize I'm forgetting their names) works on my ACL and he is awesome! Pushes me,but not too far Stretches my ACL and they give you a machine with electrodes and a warm blanket over area of need. I can say I look forward to my physical therapy. I make my appointments a week out and Fema PT never makes me wait! They are accommodating and so sweet I never feel like I'm not going to be taken care of each time I come. I'm 25 and I've had a wrist problem for a few years but was always scared to get it looked at. I received the worst care there. The actual Therapist herself physically hurt me by yanking the shoulder wheel while I was on it. up iI had a frozen shoulder. also when they put the therapy heat pad and tens unit on me they placed the heat pad directly on my skin. I saw the setting of the heating pad which read 150 and it started to burn my skin I removed the pad and was chastised. read more

The Dr. didn't even touch my knee. Just watched me straighten it as far as I could and assumed my acl was attached. The therapy consisted of a hot pack/ E-stim then a vibrator. Pretty un inspired. That's what Medicare gets you I guess. To be fair I know there is only so much you can expect out of these places, this place seems good enough for non athletes and old people. read more

Very happy with the work the doctors and the staff does at this facility. My neck and arm was very stiff due to Cancer surgery. The staff here helped me to get a lot of the movement of my shoulder, arm and neck. The wait time is zero once you are in the system, then you do your therapy and your are out feeling great. I've been coming here weekly for awhile now & I'm extremely impressed with the level of care all Fema staff give. They go far & beyond & out of their way to make sure each patient is comfortable, relax & are getting the best out of the treatments offered. This isn't my first go at physical therapy. Previously it was painful & just horrible at another doctors office causing my symptoms to become worse. I was hesitant to try PT again but to my surprise it seems to be exactly what I need! At FEMA they hustle around the room making sure each & everyone one of their clients is comfortable, not over doing themselves & each staff member does so with such kindness & true care for all. I Love love love all the staff! They are some of the nicest most caring people! Dr.Fema & Dr.Mac are highly educated, efficient & truly seem to care about all their clients. Out of 20yrs of pain & suffering Fema has helped me in the short time I've been coming here better then any other doctors office for my pain & the benefits that I am receiving don't come with major risk that prescription medications that usually only mask symptoms do. My disease is incurable. However, with Fema's help my quality of life has become better because I'm not in as much of pain. Thank You Fema! I have been a patient at Fema Physical Therapy Center for over 3 years now. The office is very clean and the staff are attentive. They supervise and help with the exercise machines (of which they have a good selection) and try to avoid making you wait. In the room, I get massage, ultrasound, and electrodes for my chronic back pain- they are very organized and stay on top of things so you aren't left waiting in the room for very long, if at all. The therapists are very good at what they do and are very professional and friendly. Fema herself is always there supervising and checking in with patients. It's not too crowded and they are very good at getting you in and out in a timely manner. I have been to other physical therapy offices where I experienced long waits in crowded conditions, therapists didn't explain what they were doing, and it wasn't clean. At Fema's, they go above and beyond to make sure that your needs are met and you are comfortable. I highly recommend Fema Physical Therapy Center. read more

I'm shocked at the negative reviews.. Just shows some people are never happy. I had a hip replacement 16 years ago and it started really hurting. My Dr sent me here...I go three times a week. It's really helping! The staff is awesome.. The machines are great. They assessed me and showed me what to do. If you need your hand held and expect a Beverly Hills atmosphere.. Go to Beverly Hills.
