Wow, great service, fast and efficient! I stopped in to replace a battery on my Polar Heart Rate Monitor. Normally I would have to mail my wrist band to LA to have a Polar Tech replace the battery but i took a chance with About Time. I'm glad I did!! I have an old Tag Heuer watch that needed service. I found Mo on Yelp and decided to take it in to him. In the mean time, I managed to break something inside the watch trying to reset the time. I also have an Armani watch that needed a battery. Last time it was done, I sent it to the Armani service service center, who apparently, managed to strip the screws. Mo fixed the Armani watch while I waited and charged me less than the Armani Service center. As for the Tag, I had to leave it there for a few days. He had it done way quicker than promised, and cleaned it really well. It looks and functions like a brand new watch. I didn't compare prices on the repair to the Tag, but I felt what he charged was fair, and when I got the watch back and saw it shining like it was brand new, I was really happy. My experience at About Time ended almost before I knew it started. I stopped in after work to get the battery in my watch replaced. Since it was only ten minutes before closing I fully expected to leave it overnight, which was fine by me. I brought in 5 different watches with various adjustments (3 battery replacements, new band replacement, gyro tightened, and band adjustments, taking out links for the right fit) and it only took him 15 mins! He was very meticulous, professional and personable. I appreciate the details, and so does he, as he even matched the pins and closure that best matched the aesthetic of the band I had selected with my watch. All of this was very reasonably priced as I have been overcharged from those fast fix kiosks usually located in malls (ironically not fast either). I recently brought my watch here for a second estimate on repair. The crown had fallen out and it stopped working. I had received an estimate that stated I needed a new crown and movement for a total of $98, plus if I wanted a battery it would be $37. The owner Mo opened up my watch when I arrived, looked it over and replaced the battery, and it started working. It took less than 30 minutes and cost less than $15. My alarm was not working, but I never use it and it could have been broken anytime. He told me not to waste my money on repair unless I really needed it. I definitely recommend About Time. After almost getting ripped off when all I needed was a battery, I am happy to find businesses with integrity like this one. Came in to pick up a new battery for my digital watch and to fix the clasp of my seiko analog watch. Shop owner saw that the clasp only required bending back into place and fixed clasp for no charge! I went here about 6 months ago dressed in scrubby clothes, and only intending to ask questions about a watch to get for my girlfriend's birthday. The guys who were working there were extraordinarily helpful and answered all of my questions, and showed me 10 or 15 watches. I didn't buy anything though because her birthday was still a ways off. I went in a few months later to shop for myself. I received the same great service. I walked out with nice watches for both myself and the misses. The guys were great, and also did some great repairs on other watches I had. Fast forward to today, I got a nice watch as a birthday gift, but needed it sized.
