This is a fraudulent auction site. Same vehicle is offered on multiple auction sites in multiple states.

Total scam. Found the same car listed on another auction site for twice what their "buy it now" price is.

We had a very good experience at 605 Auto. I didn't know it's been there for decades. We took 3…read moretest drives with Eddie. He was patient, answered all our questions, and we felt we got a good deal. Prior to this we went to Cerritos Toyota and while I thought they were helpful, I felt like we were "little fish in a big ocean". So glad we went to 605 Auto. I would definitely recommend them to friends or family.

I purchased a vehicle from them in mid-March. The dealership claims its vehicles undergo an inspection before sale, but my vehicle had a leaking transmission bolt (which cost approximately $300 to repair), missing trim pieces, and a faulty radio. To their credit, they replaced the radio at no charge. I was told that my license plates would be delivered to the dealership rather than my home address. While unusual, I accepted that explanation and assumed the required paperwork would be handled properly. Unfortunately, that was not the case. About a month after purchasing the vehicle, I called to ask about the status of my plates. I was told they did not have them yet, but that someone would check with management and get back to me. No one ever did. Over the following weeks, I made several more calls and received the same response each time: someone would look into it and call me back. No one ever did. As my temporary registration approached expiration, I continued trying to get answers. At one point I was told their "plate guy" had the plates and they should arrive within a few days. When I followed up, I was told that was no longer the case. Again, I was promised a callback that never happened. With only a week remaining before my temporary tags expired, I contacted AAA for assistance. That is when I learned that the title had never been transferred into my name. I immediately contacted the dealership, but my calls went unanswered. I then sent an email explaining the situation and was told someone would follow up on Monday. Based on my previous experience, I am not optimistic that will happen. As a result, I am now dealing with registration issues and scrambling to resolve paperwork that should have been completed by the dealership months ago. The most frustrating part of this experience has been the complete lack of communication. Mistakes can happen, but repeatedly failing to return calls or provide updates is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

Price was really low and I wondered why but every thing seemed fine from my inspection. The guy there wasn't forthcoming with any issues on the car and in fact kept saying things to make it seem even better than it was. Typical sales pitch...no big deal. Took the car for a test drive; everything seemed good, car ran fine, drove fine, was in really great shape other than some slight damage to the rear bumper (scrapes and gouges) and I assumed the price was being dictated by that damage. I was fine with that. I bought the car..cash. On my way home I realized the speedometer was off by like 20 mph. My test drive was just on the street near their lot so I never got up to speed and did not notice the speedometer not working correctly. I now realize that is most likely the reason for the low price. It is a known issue with this model of car and not only is the speedo off but so is the tach. $1500 to fix. I would have appreciated a little honesty there. I would have bought the car anyway but I hear about how honest they are with telling customers the known issues. Is it possible they did not know? Maybe but doubtful. Used this car averages $1500-$2000 more than what they sold it for so there has to be a reason for that. I do appreciate they had the car priced fairly considering the issues I found. Anyways I bought the car. paid cash. Left. I'm more than satisfied with the car. I wait a few weeks for them to send me my plates and tags (which they claimed they would do) and after 3 weeks I received nothing. Called them up and spoke to a girl (the daughter of the owner I assume) and she said "They just came in. You can pick them up any time." I then told her that I was told they would ship the plates to my house. She got a little rude at this point and said they would and to give it a couple of business days to arrive. Fast forward 1 week. Nothing arrives. I call again and get the same girl. I tell her that I am waiting on the plates and ask where they are. She then says, "They just came in. You can pick them up today." I then say, "I called last week and that is EXACTLY what you said to me then. You told me you would mail them to me." Well now she is back to rude mode (not mean but I can hear the attitude in her voice.) She continues to tell me she will mail them out today and I should have them in two business days. I did receive the plates in two business days so all is well but I don't appreciate the run around and false information nor the slight attitude as if I'm putting her out. Anyways, Not impressed with that girl but the Mom was very cool and the father (I assume this is a family operation) was nice and friendly if not forthcoming with known issues with the car (which is what most of these reviews claim he is.) Would I buy from them again? Maybe. It wasn't a terrible experience but the daughter alone kinda annoyed me. So maybe I won't return in the future.

After nearly a month of negotiations, we agreed on a purchase price for my vehicle, and I drove over an hour to their dealership for what was supposed to be the final inspection. My vehicle is in excellent condition, exactly as represented throughout the process. After waiting for over 90 minutes, I was told they were reducing their offer by more than $3,000. There was no legitimate issue found with the vehicle that justified the reduction. It felt like the original offer was simply used to get me through the door. What made this even more concerning was that I wasn't the only one. While I was waiting, two other customers in the lobby were dealing with the exact same situation. One had driven nearly two hours, only to have their offer significantly reduced as well. When I got home, I read through more of their reviews and realized this appears to be a recurring pattern. I wish I had done that before making the trip. If you're considering doing business with STG, be extremely cautious. Be prepared for the possibility that the offer you've been negotiating may change dramatically once you've invested your time and driven to the dealership. In my opinion, this was a complete waste of time and an incredibly frustrating experience. I won't be doing business with STG again, and I would encourage others to look elsewhere.
