I was involved in an accident on November 23rd and chose ABS Collision based on the expectation of professionalism and communication. Unfortunately, that expectation was far from reality. My truck was in their possession for four months, and during that entire time, communication was practically nonexistent. I was told I would receive updates throughout the process, yet I never once got a proactive call. Every update I received was because I had to reach out first which is unacceptable for a repair taking this long. Toward the end of the process, things got even worse. ABS continued giving me finish dates, then suddenly claimed they needed a supplement from my insurance. I later found out from my insurance that ABS had ordered the wrong bumper, and State Farm refused to cover their mistake. Instead of taking accountability, ABS tried to pass that cost onto me. Not only was the bumper wrong, but it was also not the original type I brought my truck in with. They replaced it with a different bumper that included a flare--something my vehicle did not originally have. I was explicitly told that if any custom or different part was needed, they would call me to confirm before moving forward. That call never happened. They made that decision on their own, and I was left dealing with the consequences. I was told I needed to pay an extra $200 out of pocket. I made it very clear that I would only be paying my $500 deductible--especially since, at the beginning of the process, Idillios son explicitly told me I would not have to pay anything beyond that and that it would be illegal for them to charge me otherwise. They refused to budge, then suddenly lowered it to $130. When I arrived to pick up my truck, the amount changed again to $190 this time .When I questioned this, (David) asked me who told me $130 ironically, it was him. That level of disorganization and lack of accountability is beyond unprofessional. At that point, I felt completely backed into a corner. I ended up paying the $130 just to get my truck released, because the owner (Idillio) who I requested to speak with--was conveniently "not available" and wouldn't be there for several more days. After already waiting four months, it felt like they were intentionally delaying things, leaving me with no choice but to pay out of pocket just to avoid further issues. To make matters worse, when I finally got my truck back and brought it home, I noticed the condition of the work didn't match what I was told. They claimed the bumper was OEM and that the repair was "good quality," yet the bumper filler looks poorly done and the surface is visibly scratched. After waiting months and being charged extra for their mistake, that level of workmanship is extremely disappointing. What makes this worse is that from the very beginning, I was reassured I wouldn't have to come out of pocket beyond my deductible. That clearly wasn't true! THEY ARE LIARS! Overall, this experience felt disorganized, misleading, and unprofessional from start to finish. A business that makes a mistake should take responsibility--not shift the cost onto the customer, change numbers depending on the day, make unauthorized decisions about parts, and then deliver subpar work. If this is their version of "quality" and "customer service," I'd hate to see what they consider poor. Save yourself the headache and do not even consider this shop an option. read more

Tried to deflect by blaming insurance or slow parts shipping or what have you every time I called. - Lied about the car being finished when it wasn't and had to delay again - Wanted to charge me more when it was finally time to pick up - Car was not maintained at all in those 3months leading to a dead battery (and another $200 down the drain). Tire pressure was way too high. - Did not fix some of the minor parts they said they would in their quote - Stuff was stolen from my car. They had clearly rummaged through my car. Horrible experience... I would defiantly not use this shop ever again nor recommend it. I was involved in a minor fender bender (other driver was at fault) and went through the insurance company to have the repairs done. Over a month passed, and over $4,000 later I was called to pick up my car because it was done and when I showed up the paint job was bad! I had to wait another week and a half to have it repainted, then went back to pick it up and it still wasn't correct. I was given a small container of touch up paint from them to fix the imperfection's my self. As I drove off I noticed that my fuel light was on and displaying 0 miles left of fuel! I am 100% sure I had 3/4 of a full tank when I dropped it off at ABS collusion... I am positive because I had just drove in from out of town and filled up 40 miles before dropping my car off. So shady and unprofessional! Again I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I was referring by a coworker so I was under the impression this establishment was great! I went in to grab an estimate for my bmw and as soon as I requested that the man who was helping me immediately tried to ask for the insurance check. I mentioned it was on the way and he immediately cut me off mid sentence and said "you're wasting your gas if you're not gonna drop it off now theres no point on coming if the checks on the way" which I can understand to a degree but the way his mannerism executed was extremely unprofessional and rude. He tried to run me an estimate right then & there after I explained I, myself have experience in the car industry and understand how much my car would really cost! He then estimated me an extra thousand based on what my insurance gave me. His reasoning was on how expensive parts are and "IF" parts break during the process.... yea I know my how much my bimmer is... cut the bs just for a check. I ran over a tire on the freeway and the cover under my car ripped. they helped take it off and order a new one. it took 2 days to arrive and it took them 4 hrs to install it. The drivers side of my Kia Forte had gotten a major dent. The dent was so severe I couldn't open my door. It was such a hassle to deal with, it wasn't the type of damage you could just deal with later, it had to be fixed right away. I read the great reviews on ABS and decided to call, mind you I live all the way in Long Beach. I called and spoke with Amelia, she was such a gem! Great customer service, talked me through the process and made it very simple, we all know the auto service industry can make things so complex but not at ABS. When I dropped off my car I met Idilio, he was also very nice and attentive, he looked at the dent of my car and reassured that I was in good hands and not to worry. Lastly, Octavious assisted me with my paperwork and insurance process, also something you would dread having to deal with but Octavious made it such a simple process. Another thing I really liked was the text messages I would receive throughout the week with updates on my car, I never felt the need to call and ask questions because I was already being updated without needing to worry or wonder! I was looking for a body shop to help me fix my 2018 Chevy Silverado as it had a hit on the suspension. When I first walked in there everything was great they were so nice , they let me know they were going to help me with everything but that didn't happen .. as time progressed they were super rude and tried to avoid me as soon as they received the insurance money it was a wrap . They are very shady I do believe they try to get as much money as they could. I was not happy with the results . They really do suck when it comes to body work .. I finally know what ABS stands for "A Bullshit ass Service" Collision Center. I implore incoming customers to not be fooled by the positive reviews and focus on the negative reviews on here as the situation seems pretty true and universal experience. I came here because of the 5 star reviews only to receive the most heinous service of my life. Only come here if you want a 5 star experience of being scammed out of services, time and money. My car was in for a small fender bender on the passenger side when I got hit by a driver. The car was still very much drivable but I figured since insurance will take care of it why not go and fix it? I had some small cosmetic damages such as back bumper and lock cylinder for the door that needed to be fixed, so I paid them to fix the cosmetics while insurance covers the damage from the accident. Boy was I in for a ride, I kept asking for updates on my car to follow up on status and they kept lying to me stating that "parts needed to be ordered or did not arrive time" which delayed my car for a 3 WHOLE MONTHS! 3 whole months for a cylinder and some scratches? As their customer I should have not suffered the consequences of their poor management. That's ridiculous, they lie, they cheat and try to steal money from incoming clients. They don't care about your livelihood, ONLY THE MONEY. Unacceptable. Also to add insult to injury when i finally got my car off the lot, my tire pressure over the psi limit , battery was almost dead cause it sat there for 3 months and now all of a sudden I need a new alternator. I didn't find out until I called AAA shortly after. I keep pretty good maintenance on my car, so I think it's a scheme for them to get more money from you because when you leave the lot. YOUR CAR WONT GO FAR FROM IT. I also believe stuff was stolen from my car because my seat cushion is gone, like really?? What kind of place does that? I don't know what kind of business they're running but run away and find another place. You were fairly warned! read more

I know this review is long, but take 5 minutes to read it and save yourself the trouble and problems that I had to go through with ABS. I wasn't going to write a review for them(despite having a bad experience) but I had to pay a dealer over $500 for work that ABS billed the insurance company but was never done. ABS did reimburse me for the amount, but as a business, for them to bill parts and work that they never did is inexcusable. I took my car here because I saw the positive reviews ABS has on Yelp. Big Mistake!This is easily the worst experience I've ever had at any business. They gave me an estimate of 4 weeks. Took them almost 2 months to finish. The insurance company notified me that ABS was quoting over $8,500 to repair the my car. It seemed like way too much for the amount of damage,given that my car is worth about $16,000. In the end they brought it down to $7,500. After 7 weeks in the shop, and another text message saying it would be delayed again, I called and asked what was needed on my car to be complete. They told me they just needed some clips for the lower valance. I told them I was going to go and see the state of my car. My stomach sank when I saw my car. It looked like it was cut in half. I wish I had taken a picture. The entire bumper and tail lights were missing, the trunk was exposed, they told me the entire rear of the car was going to be painted and they removed my quarter panel windows, front window moldings, and the roof strip molding. This was 2 days before the car was suppose to be completed. When I asked them why they had removed the quarter panel windows and roof molding, they told me it was so they wouldn't get paint on them when the rear was painted. Guess these guys have never heard of covering them. Idilio kept blaming the insurance company for the delays, saying they didn't approve his outrageous supplements on time. I asked him if this meant the car had just been sitting in his shop for 6 weeks while they were misleading me with their text messages pushing the date of completion back. He said the work had to be paused while the supplements were reviewed and that "he'd rather have me be upset at him for taking too long, than him doing the work without approval and then them(insurance) go after me for the money". How considerate. Thanks Idilio! I went the day before Thanksgiving and waited more than 1 hour to get my car. Idilio told me they were staying late just for me. Again, Thanks Idilio! Finally! My car was done. Or so I thought. When I was driving off, I noticed the check engine light was still on (something ABS said they'd check), I honestly just wanted to go home, prepare for the holidays and put this all behind me, so I left and figured I'd have the dealer check it since the car is still under warranty and I had to take it in for the oil change in a couple of weeks anyways. I took my car to the dealer and had them check the light. They called me and told me the car had been rear ended and the evap canister was damaged. Since this was caused by the accident, it wouldn't be covered under warranty and would cost $508 to fix. I figured I'd pay it and then talk to the insurance company. Since I had evidence that it was caused by the accident, they had to reimburse me. So I paid and called the insurance company. The insurance told me they had ALREADY PAID ABS for the part and the labor to repair it when my car was in the shop. They suggested I'd speak with them, because they were not going to pay for the same repair twice. When I called ABS and explained them the situation, the lady on the phone still tells me "Instead of paying, Why didn't you just bring the car so we could take a look at it?"- Why didn't you guys just repair it like you said you would and charged for! I had to leave work early to go talk to them. They came up with some excuse that the wrong part was ordered and then returned. They again told me I should have taken the car to them when the dealer wanted to charge me. The car was already at the dealer, and I had NO idea they had billed for the repair. They wrote me a check and I was on my way. I know it sounds like just went on a rant, but I have to wonder why they had so many bad thing contributing to my bad experience despite their reviews . I am not one to ask for special services. I was willing to not write a review and overlook the fact my car took almost 2 months to be repaired. But them charging for work that was never done seems unacceptable to me and I feel like I have to warn others. Makes me wonder what else they charged for but didn't repair/replace. They lied to me constantly and I had to take time off from work to get my car back "on time" and have them fix their mistakes. I'm probably voiding my "Lifetime Guarantee" on their work by writing this review, but If something ever goes wrong with their work, I'd rather pay another shop out of pocket to fix it than to ever deal with these guys again. read more

Got my GMC Sierra 1500 repaired at this shop, and the service was outstanding. They made sure to pay very close attention to detail and gave the truck back to me better than I got it from the dealer. Idilio the owner made sure to call and give us frequent updates on the repairs, and was a very nice man. He came out and went over the entire truck with us. He made sure that we were completely satisfied before releasing the truck to us. He had the truck washed and detailed inside and out before we picked it up. Over great experience, they used OEM parts, not aftermarket parts. 10/10 would recommend this business to anyone in the area, or even out of the area.
