For years, many many years, I have tried the best salons ~ from Center City to New Hope ~ and never had that wonderful feeling of an amazing haircut. I dreaded going every time I needed a trim. Salon Anna Noelle is a beautiful, super clean shop with the most friendly staff. Immediately I felt at ease. The decor is lovely and welcoming. Anna is nothing short of incredible. I showed her a photograph, and Anna knew exactly how to make it work for me. It's not merely a hair style ~ it's a true cut so when recreating the style at home, it falls into place. There's no struggle, no over drying, no bad hair days. When I say Anna is a miracle worker it still doesn't give her justice. Her talents and skill are honestly unbelievable. Thank you Anna!!

REPLY TO OWNER…read more Anna, I need to clarify the facts since your reply misrepresents what happened. I actually came back to the salon about 20 minutes after my appointment because the haircut was uneven, and I told you in person that I hated it. It didn't look like any of the photos I showed you -- I asked for long, blended layers - the length to be 2" below my collarbone, and instead my hair was cut into a much shorter bob. The result is at least 5" shorter than what I requested, and the bottom 3" of my hair is very frizzy from the thinning shears. I never get the bottom of my hair layered nor did the pictures I showed you have that style. You also charged me $240 instead of the $160 I was quoted for root color, highlight touch-up, and a haircut -- a 50% upcharge that you said was for extra product. It doesn't make sense that all three services cost $160, but "extra product" alone cost $90 more. This is not blackmail. I waited months hoping you would make it right, but nothing was done. In the meantime, I've had to spend hundreds of dollars on products and tools trying to manage a haircut I didn't ask for -- one I will now be stuck with for a year while it grows out. My review reflects my honest experience so others know what to expect. I would have gladly refrained from posting a review or updated it if my concerns had been handled professionally.

She cut my hair so short I am unable to put a flat iron or curling iron to the sides and the lower back of my head. I mentioned to her before she started cutting, not extremely short. Each side of my head was different. I hardly have any hair left on the sides of my head. The left side is worse. Thankfully, I am a former hairdresser and can maybe fix this to some degree. The shop never offered me the 20% discount they offered. I did not even think about that at the time of paying my bill because I was so upset that they do not even style the hair after they cut the person's hair. Just horrible! I guess if you're not accustomed to the normal procedures of what is common - place for going to a beauty shop for a haircut and blow dry then the hairdresser takes advantage and does less work for the same price? I would never recommend this place to have your hair done besides not having upscaled hairdressers with knowledge of good styling. I might add the parking is also horrendous as well. In fact it's rather dangerous walking on uneven pavements in that area.

When I got there, Nikki was a delight - we talked again about my mangled (to me, at least) cut, and discussed what my goal was, sharing photos of the desired cut/style. I walked out of there feeling a thousand times better and happy with my cut/style for the first time in over 2 months. I had scheduled a follow up appointment for about 6 weeks out but a week or so before I got a call from Nikki saying she was leaving to pursue another opportunity, so they would have to book me with another stylist. I rescheduled my appointment with Maureen. Just like my initial appointment with Nikki, Maureen talked to me about my hair - what I liked, what I didn't like, what I wanted. She showed me several photos and made a few suggestions based on my hair type. When she asked if I had ever had a razor cut, my eyes lit up. I walked out of there once again delighted with my cut, and loved my color this time around too. The salon itself is fabulous. It's small, but it's warm and inviting. The music level is just right - not too loud. Gina and her staff are welcoming and make you feel like an old friend. It's priced just right - a little less expensive than the last salon I was going to and that was cheap compared to my previous salon in Jersey. They do take credit/debit cards, but tips are cash only.

First of all they were extremely accommodating about our last minute requests for appointments. Their salon and staff have personality! So much fun and terrific energy. Amber and Alex were amazing. Amber was so patient and did outstanding work with my high maintenance make up requests/preferences. She was happy to change things I didn't like and continued until I felt confident. Alex did terrific work with our hair and the entire process was painless and within the time we had requested to be completed by. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area!
