The worst experience of my life. The owner Lusine, is fully aware that her business is involved in…read moreillegal activity. I was intrigued when I came across a injector on Instagram, who had beautiful work of lip injections, and face injections. I proceeded to message this person and they told me to meet them at Lakshmi Med & Spa. When I got there, she entered the room with the Trader Joe's bag and boxes of injections in that bag. That should've already been my first indicator that something is not right here.. she proceeded to inject my lips, which was the most painful experience of my life, & the results of my injections were bruising, swelling, uneven lips, bumps, burning, and serious injury. In a fit of rage & disbelief, I reached out to the BBB and the medical board of California along with filing police report reports on criminal activity. The owner herself, Lusine, reached out to me in regards to the situation claiming that she works independently from the person who injected me & then threatening to call police on me for tresspassing, because I went back the next day to get a REFUND! she confirmed that the woman who injected me illegally, is a sublease. Basically she is confirming that she has full knowledge of the woman injecting other people illegally and unlicensed in her place of business. When I posted about my experience on my Instagram platform, I had many people DM me saying that the Instagram I messaged, was actually an Instagram of a woman who got hacked recently. so now it's come to my attention that the woman who injected me, is using a fake alias and recruiting women to a place of business that does not provide the services and illegally injecting them unlicensed, causing damage to the face. I would not recommend this place at all even if she does good lymphatic massages or she has made a name for herself, she also willingly is allowing a woman to illegally inject individuals without a proper medical license. The instagram name is "BEAUTY_FACE_LA" the original owner of this Instagram's name is Seda.. they stole her page & are falsely getting clients to inject. Just look at my lips .. it's been 3 days! As an owner, to reach out to someone who was injured illegally at your establishment & threaten them instead of trying to find a common ground & solution, comes to show how incompetent and uneducated one is.. Stay away from this business they are not certified to inject anyone in the face !!!

When I arrived, I was greeted and since I was early, I lounged in their luxurious and plushy waiting room. I was then taken to a room with the comfiest heated bed. I got a microdermabrasion which was much needed. It really exfoliated all of the dead skin on my face and I found out my skin was even more congested than I thought. I left with more even looking smoother skin and noticed a difference in the absorption of my skincare products. I booked the appointment with ease through ClassPass and would highly recommend it!

No. But it's whatever. I had a Groupon, so what did I expect? My second appt. - My appt was at 10:30. The place was locked, but one of the staff heard me try the door and let me in. They let me know the nurse was running late. Which okay. Life happens. No big deal. About 30 minutes later, she came in, I got my treatment, and went to check out. My Groupon was for a bikini because it didn't list Brazilian as an option on the site, so I was paying additional for the Brazilian. Appt 1 it was $55, today it was $65. So I was like oh, it was $55 last time. The guy then says would I like to bundle it and pay for the next 5 up front, and he'd give me 20%? I was like, "Oh, that's so nice, thank you." So he said that'll be $320. Uhh, that math doesn't math. So I was like, "Oh, I'll go ahead and just pay each time because 55 x 5 is $275, so I'll just stick with that". My third appt. The nurse is close to 45 minutes late because of a flat tire. Which, again, things happen. But now it's getting fishy. She arrives and does my treatment. I walk out of the room afterward, and the two people who work there are very clearly talking about me, haha. I was like, cool, cool. Y'all can say what you want, but maybe don't be so obvious about it. My fourth appt. They cancelled what I had originally scheduled on the 14th and moved it to the 21st. But they at least did that a few days before, so that's a win! Come the 21st, my appt was once again at 10:30, why they do them at that time, I don't know. An hour beforehand, I got a new confirmation changing my appt to 10:45. I wasn't sure how accurate this was, so I got there at like 10:35 because they are always late anyways. Shocker, they aren't open. So I went back to my car. 3 minutes later, I see them in there, so I go to walk in, and as I do they are calling me and cancelling my appt because the machine wasn't working. My fourth/fifth appt. That brings me to today. I got there at 10:30, no one is there. I wait. Still no one. Doors locked. I waited some more. I try calling, I get their automated person, then it rings, then it says your call can't be connected. So I leave. It's now 47 minutes after my appt time, and I haven't heard a word. Working to get my money back. Should have heeded the warnings I'm seeing everywhere now.

The nurse was really kind, comforting and did not try to push too many units on me which is something I've had happen a few times at different medspas across LA. She was a great injector & I hardly felt any pain and I can tell already I won't have much bruising. Usual cost per unit $14 which is about standard these days. Only complaint is the option to tip at the end, which isn't something I've only noticed here. I see this happen lately at medspas and it makes no sense to me. You're paying for a service administered by a "nurse". When you go to the doctor, you're not asked to tip and you shouldn't be asked to tip at medspas either. That being said I still tipped a little because my injector was really great, I just don't agree with being asked of this at the end of service. They have monthly membership which I'm thinking about signing up for once my Botox settle, assuming I like the results but I'm confident I will. Overall, great experience and staff. I recommend Kalologie to anyone looking for Botox or Dysport.
