I took a half day off work and brought my car in at 7:30 AM Saturday morning as promised. The kind person at the counter said they may not have the tires I need and the warehouse is closed on Saturdays. I said "Oh, don't worry, the tires are here. I called ahead and ordered them." Nope, tires weren't there, and I lost $150 in salary because I took time off. So I decided to give them one more chance, because I love this place. I called today and this time, the man told me the warehouse is closed Saturday so he'll need to order the tires for me. Now we're getting somewhere. So he put me on hold............30 minutes later, still on hold, I gave up. During my next break at work, I called again. A nice lady answered and took down the specifications of the tires I needed. Third time is a charm. Oh wait... the business closes in 10 minutes so instead of shutting down their computers at 5:00 PM when they close, they shut them down at about 4:50. Call back tomorrow. After only about 2 hours, they were done with the service and I was back on the road ready to take in Broadway street. Everyone at the shop was polite and helpful-they even took us into the bay to physcially show us the problem. I'm glad I was able to find this shop. I recently had some damage to the driver door of my Eruption Green Bronco and I took it to an actual collision center for an estimate. The collision center told me it would be in the neighborhood of $1500-$2000 and they would have to repaint both doors on the driver's side in order to match it as best they could. But the guy in the collision center also recommended Dent Machine and gave me Dale's business card. I texted Dale on a Friday with photos and he gave me a price estimate and said he could repair it on Monday at 11: 00 am. Well, Dale showed up at 11:00am and repaired the door for the price quoted. He was very friendly and patient enough to answer all my questions, I told him I was very skeptical of the technique. He said he understood the skepticism and then proceeded to repair the door to his standards, and it turned out beautifully! The service was exceptional. Dale was very professional and the quality of his work is second to none. The final bill was approximately $495.00, and I was so impressed with the results that I gave him a tip, which I normally would not do in this instance. This last time my husband was having work done on the truck (line-ex, lifts etc etc) and I went ahead and jack-knifed the trailer behind the truck causing a new dent, threatening to delay the scheduled work on his truck. To make a long story short, despite all the terrible things I've done to my poor husband's truck, Dale came right out in a day and spent hours in the hot sun ensuring that the dents were gone. Friendly people, fair pricing, updates via phone; however, once I saw my vehicle, I was utterly disappointed. Upon inspecting my car I found: 1- Thick layer of dust covering the inside dash, steering wheel, and floor mats 2- Trash inside the vehicle (wax pen, plastic floor mat covers) 3- Misaligned fender 4- Missing R and L hinge covers (they took the drivers side one off to match although drivers side was not worked on) 5- Hollow sounding door upon closure 6- Failed to inform me that the some paint protective film would need to be removed. Vehicle returned without it The tech who returned my vehicle to me had said he worked on nine cars in 7 hours, and was "sorry that the car had not been dried nor the plastic floor mat covers removed." I had taken the car back several weeks later to attempt to have these issues fixed. Some of the issues were fixed; however, the missing hinge covers and hollow sounding door remained. The owner himself even worked on my car and couldn't properly diagnose the door issue! When expressing my dissatisfaction with the work the owner said "there's nothing more I can do, cars are just big tin cans." I ended up taking the car to another auto body shop and they diagnosed and corrected the problem within MINUTES! Now my car is as good as new! To Walter Colson and employees: PLEASE treat your customers vehicles like your own. I take great pride in my vehicle and was SO SO SO disheartened to see it treated and returned in this state.
