Decided to pick up some caviar from me and the wife on memorial Saturday and glad I did. I've had the best of the best and this place has it all. Had the pleasure of trying all of their selection and went with Siberian supreme. Smooth and creamy. No fishy smell and burst with flavor. The service here is what sets this place apart. Locally owned family business too and don't be afraid to ask them questions. They know their stuff. I'm low key scared now because this place is 2 blocks away from my house. What an amazing day and glad I found this hidden gem.

After a busy day we wanted to have a quiet seafood dinner. This was our first time at Absolute Caviar and it did not disappoint. Parking was a nightmare, but worth it. Upon entry to the store, the saleswoman showed us the various options and offered us a taste of each. She was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional. Based on the descriptions and characteristics of the various options I was pretty sure of what I wanted. However, after tasting the various options, we chose something completely different than we expected. The saleswoman aided us in choosing the perfect selection. I strongly recommend Absolute Caviar. You won't be disappointed. The whole experience was great. We also picked up crème fresh and blinis. The only thing missing was champagne. Apparently, the Sherman Oaks location has champagne too.

he opened 2 new tins for me to sample!

Very friendly staff, great caviar, cheap for caviar but expect to pay for quality caviar! I've been to the Sherman Oaks location twice before and met Alex, who was wonderful, and this is my first time at the new location! Alex's father (I cannot remember his name) was so kind, and although I had a bit of trouble understanding him, he was patient, very nice, and extremely welcoming. While the store looks beautifully clean, the service made me feel like family. I had some trouble deciding between 2 different caviars, and when I asked for his recommendation, he insisted I try both to decide which I liked better and did not hesitate to pop open two brand new tins to give me a sample of each. I walked away with 8oz of delicious Kaluga Amber and I will definitely be back!

Relatively good place, but the price-quality ratio is not satisfactory. I would not recommend this place for everyday shopping.

I ordered the Le Gourmand, and the entire time I kept thinking, this would be SO much better hot. I wanted that brie melted, the bread toasted, the whole thing pressed like a panini. Served cold, it had that slightly "premade and sitting in the refrigerator" vibe, even if that wasn't actually the case. The ingredients were good; I just wanted them brought together differently. My son had the La Zucca and actually really liked it, but even he kept saying, "I wish this was chicken." Basically, he wanted it to turn into a chicken Parmesan sandwich halfway through lunch. I think this is one of those places where social media visibility can set the expectations a little too high. Nothing was bad by any means, it just didn't have us thinking about the sandwiches afterward. Would I go back? Absolutely, but next time I'm going for the cheese. That gorgeous cheese counter is where this place really shines.

I got the Hailey Bieber one and she got the Sydney Sweeney. Both were around $20-$25 each, which is a lot, but they were genuinely good, thick, creamy, and just as pretty as they look online. They're basically a meal, not a drink, so come hungry. The one thing that surprised me was how few hot food options there are. If you're expecting a big prepared foods spread you might be let dow, it's much more grab-and-go and cold case. We did buy dates and nuts, which were really good quality. Expensive, but that's the whole store. Fun to walk around and browse even if you're not buying much. Worth doing once for the experience. Just know you're paying for the name as much as the smoothie.

The restaurant really does feel tucked away once you get inside the Rodeo Collection. The space has warm lighting, colorful details, and a playful Mexican-inspired look that makes dinner feel fun without becoming over-the-top. We started with guacamole and empanadas before moving on to tacos. The Baja Style Fish Tacos were a favorite, with crisp fish, fresh slaw, and chipotle aioli. I also had the Grilled Prime New York Taco, and the steak was cooked really well and stayed tender. With the caramelized onion, guacamole, and salsa fresca, it had plenty of flavor without feeling overloaded. Between those two, we were already very happy with our taco choices, and there wasn't much left on the table by the end. The cocktails were excellent. My friend's drink came served in this ceramic donkey, and we immediately became a little obsessed with it. We loved it enough that the donkey somehow ended up making an appearance in half our photos by the end of the night. Our server checked in throughout dinner and gave us plenty of time to enjoy everything without ever making us feel rushed. We finished with churros, which arrived with dipping sauces and were a very easy decision once dessert was mentioned. They also offer valet, which is especially convenient for a Rodeo Drive dinner. I went in because Instagram kept putting The Hideaway in front of me. For once, my feed was useful. I'd happily come back for the tacos, cocktails, and another round with that donkey making its inevitable cameo.

There were four of us, and the restaurant wasn't very busy, there were plenty of open tables and what seemed like a good amount of staff. When we were first seated, we were given the regular menu. Once we mentioned that we were there for the Girls Brunch, it honestly felt like the demeanor toward our table changed. The service was extremely slow. We waited around 30 minutes between some of the food items, our drinks were forgotten, and we were rarely checked on throughout the meal. I'm usually pretty understanding when restaurants are busy or short-staffed, but that didn't seem to be the case during our visit. Between the long waits, forgotten drinks, and lack of even a simple "How is everything?", the experience became frustrating, especially since we were there to celebrate birthdays. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were mediocre as well, so the overall experience just didn't feel worth the time. I really wanted to enjoy this place and the Girls Brunch seemed like such a fun idea, but based on our experience, I unfortunately won't be returning.

The fresh donut was the same texture and fragrant flavor which I liked, but the whipped cream was room temp since it was a hot day outside and the strawberries were thin slivers with barely any strawberry flavor. They should probably keep the donuts in a refrigerator if they are full of whipped cream. I was pretty sad that the fresh ones did not live up to my expectations. Guess I'll stick to the frozen ones from now on, they are cheaper, bigger, and better anyway.
