We started with guacamole and empanadas before moving on to tacos. The Baja Style Fish Tacos were a favorite, with crisp fish, fresh slaw, and chipotle aioli. With the caramelized onion, guacamole, and salsa fresca, it had plenty of flavor without feeling overloaded. All 3 donuts were good and not too sweet. The Banana Pudding Donut was yummy. You can taste the banana that blends in well with the creamy pudding. The Roasted Sweet Corn was unique in taste. It was my favorite. Fresh Strawberry Milk Cream was also delicious. There's a hint of tanginess that balances the sweet taste of the donut. Hazelnut Latte and Caramel Latte went perfectly well with donuts and Chocolate Chip Cookie. Their Chocolate Chip Cookie is plentiful and contained lots of chocolate chips. I came in specifically for their biltong - a South African beef jerky that my cousin in law (who is from South Africa) swears by. He and my cousin actually come up from Newport Beach specifically to get the biltong here. I ordered about a half pound and had them do a 'thick cut' so it wouldn't dry out as fast and for a better chew. It was delicious and I can see why a lot of folks come here for it. I wasn't going home right away so I couldn't really order anything else, but definitely want to come back and get some different varieties of sausages here. Of the few times I've been here or tried to come here, there always seemed to have plenty of street parking (metered) available nearby. It's just a really busy street so parallel parking can get stressful for some.
