Where do I start....Irene is the best!! I had an emergency with a birds nest in my flue and that was discovered while my furnace was being maintained. I wasn't able to turn the heat back on without the chimney being cleaned out - she kept in touch and followed up throughout the day on when someone could get to me. Great job! I was able to schedule an appointment within a week. Had a wonderful contact with Irene who took care of scheduling and adjusting our schedule because of an illness in our family. Three professionals arrived at the designated time, assessed the chimney and wood burning stove, were able to access the chimney from the roof and from the wood burning stove. Needs to be better organized and have a better concept of time. Had an appt Friday morning and no one showed up so I called the main number and it ended up that they had to cancel my appt but they forgot to call and let me know no one was coming. They were good bc they gave me another appt for the next Monday. Monday came and I was waiting for them and again no one showed up. I called the main number no one answered. Finally I got a call saying they were on their way and would maybe be there in 10 minutes.. that would have made them 35 minutes late. This is the company to use for chimney cleaning. 80 year old house with an unusual flue configuration. another company never looked where absolute did and stated I needed a reline @ $3500. my flue was very dirty after many years of neglect. cost was a tenth of the other co. friendly on the phone - friendly, professional and clean on the job. will never use any one else. the bad guys were rec by my oil co, Absolute rec by a friend. that's the only measure to go by. also- don't do what I did - get your flue cleaned once a year, every year. dangers lurk - i was lucky - only had a "puff back". fires and carbon monoxide are waiting if you don't read more

I almost never post online reviews, but felt compelled after the awful experience I had today. I would give zero stars if possible. The woman who answers the phones at this company needs a lesson in customer service. She was completely rude, talking over me repeatedly and then calling me condescending when I called her out on it! Wow, what a great way to win customers and referral business! As an added bonus, this was after I was told they wouldn't be able to arrive by the end of the 3 hour window I was given.
