Bob is considerate and thorough-he gos the extra distance. With my Vermont Castings Woodstove, after a year of 24 /7 burn I get creosote build up in the stove itself. He works to get every bit off, my chimney is sparkling and I feel safe for another year as my primary heating system. 7 cords of wood each winter season. I trust Bob. Had to wait a few weeks for an appointment when I called in October to book, so I'll probably try to schedule them for an annual chimney sweep outside of the busy season. Chimney sweeper was so friendly and cleaned up after. They also called the day before to remind me about the upcoming appointment. Reasonable price, too. Totally dropped the ball and were so negligent. Kept promising to come replace a chimney cap (even picked out the chimney cap). I would call they would promise to call me back. Then one day we lit a fire and a squirrel dropped from the chimney! It was terrifying especially for the kids! Called them one more time and even told them about the squirrel in hopes they would be more responsive. Didn't help. read more

Used this company for many years until the technician failed to remove soot from furnace chimney, leaving boiler flue blocked. When weather turned cold, boiler could not work and had to call oil company repair service to find out cause was obstructed flue. Fumes backing up in house hazardous to family, but Mad Hatter owner refused to take responsibility for proper job or cost of oil service visit. When I complained to County Consumer Protection office, owner denied clearing the flue was his responsibility. I won't EVER use them again. read more
