We just recently moved here so Idk if this is just how dental care works here in the state of Nevada but the dental care my son and I received was very poor, rushed, and overlooked compared to our old dental office. -lack of communication and urgency from the front office. - i waited over an hr to be seen from from an appt I was on time to but made late due to the lack of communication ^ -had concerns about my gums and was automatically told i have gum disease and need a deep cleaning that is over 2k without going over size of pockets and my x rays or a basic cleaning done that I know my insurance covers. It just seemed shady to me and at that point I was over it because the visit was a total waste of time. However, The dental hygienist and person that checked me out were very nice. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but felt like I didn't get the most basic dental care because of the insurance I have (medicaid). I am disappointed that if you can't afford the extra treatment that isn't cover by your insurance they won't do a normal cleaning that is covered!!! I initially made a new patient appointment for a Saturday. I received a call Friday to confirm my appointment and verify insurance information and was told I was all set for the next day. Upon my arrival for the 1pm appointment on Saturday, I was asked to reschedule my appointment as they weren't able to verify insurance information. I was confused why I hadn't been notified over the phone prior to coming in, but I brushed it off and figured it was a simple mistake. Fast forward to my rescheduled appointment at 3pm today. They asked for my insurance card again as if they didn't already have it on file. After waiting for an hour and a half and about 5 or 6 people who arrived after me got called back, I walked out. I made an appointment after my last visit in October 2025. I told the front desk I want a cleaning sooner than the 6 months and will pay out of pocket. I asked for the price and was told it would be $75. I came in for a cleaning on 2/27 for that said appointment. Paid another $31 for fluoride service. Again I told the front desk I'm paying out of pocket for the cleaning. She said the insurance would pay for it. Your clinic proceeded with xrays and the hygienist came in to take measurements. Then I waited and had a sense no one was coming. I went to the front desk and was told there was no hygienist available for me. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at this Absolute Dental which I believe is the worst location. I was forced to switch offices due to the distance from my original location. One aspect that bothers me is being given conflicting information. My issues began with the orthodontic department, where I was scheduled to get my braces removed, but the orthodontist advised me to prioritize my general dental work instead, due to the fact I neeeded a bridge and my retainers would not for. I followed their instructions and scheduled an appointment with the general dental department. However, upon arrival, they informed me that I needed to get my braces off first. I explained that I was scheduled to have a tooth pulled and that getting braces off first would render my retainer unusable. They assured me that I should proceed with getting my braces removal , having them removed, and receiving a new retainer, which they claimed would be provided at no additional cost. However, after completing the procedures, I was informed that I would have to pay for the new retainer due to the changes in my teeth. I had previously paid for the initial retainer $600!, which no longer fit due to the missing tooth that required a bridge. I brought this to the attention of the manager on the general dental side, who assured me that the replacement retainer would be covered. After being rescheduled four times and waiting over 2 months for my crown to arrive, I was consistently told that I would not have to worry about paying for the retainer. However, when I arrived for my crown appointment and inquired about the retainer, I was suddenly told that I would have to pay $300 for the bottom retainer. I refused to pay, citing the manager's assurance that it would be covered. The orthodontic department then claimed that I did not need a new retainer, which I believe is incorrect based on my previous experiences with braces. As a result, I was left with a partially functional bottom retainer, (the assistant cut half off it off! Assuring me it would be replaced. ) The reason for this ordeal was the misinformation provided by the front desk staff, who advised me to prioritize my general dental work over my orthodontic treatment. I was never provided with the promised retainer due to the disagreement between the orthodontic and general dental departments. I strongly advise against visiting this location, as the poor communication, consistent rescheduling, and lack of follow-through on commitments will likely lead to disappointment. Terrible service by the front desk! Today my husband had a checkup/cleaning appt at 12pm. We arrived 11:45am and signed in. There was nobody at he front desk for 15 min. By 12:10pm they informed everyone waiting that the area we were at were only for braces and that the next door was for adults and kids. So we walked to other side and had to sign in again. The front desk people on that side were also terrible and rude. Prior to coming in, we had tried to fill out the online form that they texted us 30 min before the appt time. After spending 10 min filling out the form, we tried to submit several times but keeps erroring out. Finally we decided to fill it out at the reception. Anyways, we explained this issue with the ladies at the front desk but the one who was in charge of the form looked at us like she didn't believe us. So we tried again and towards the last part of the form it gave us that error we were experiencing the first time. We showed it to that lady in charge of the form. She took the phone from us and did it herself. And it had submitted when she did it. Instead of being understanding and kind, she looked at us in a very condescending way like why couldn't we have figured it out. After today's appt we will no longer come to this location. When I got there, I was supposed to see Dr. Britney Cortez however instead I got a male dentist which I was OK with I was told I was goodnight g to get an extraction by the assistant of the dentist two separate women I was told that the doctor signed that he would do the extraction all I needed to do was pay $100 bill that was left over from my old insurance. After I paid the hundred dollar bill the assistants informed me that the doctor changed his mind. He's no longer going to do my extraction because he thinks it's too complicated. I did not appreciate being tricked into paying $100 knowing that they were never going to do my extraction in the first place, it's unprofessional to tell someone two different things just to get money. This is our 6th year going to Absolute Dental, Liany not only has super natural skills when cleaning your teeth and using those instruments , she keeps your mind at easy like for me I always look forward for my 6 months because of the great service I always get, her assistant Perla, has super natural skills too when taking your x-rays , she makes sure she patiently guides you thru the whole uncomfortable process. The sound of the cavitron relaxes me. The whole team are super professional and very kind, not only with dental cleanings but overall, crowns , root canals, wisdom teeth surgery and fillings , my family had all of those tx done with Absolute Dental for these reasons I highly recommend them. Absolute Dental should be called ABSOLUTE JOKE! They will do anything they can to get you to spend out of pocket money. I waited for over 2 1/2 hours. The only thing they got done were my X-rays. The guy who did my X-rays was either new or not very good at his job because he had to take every X-ray at least 5 times. I'm pretty sure they forgot about me because I heard several staff members say my name and then say "I thought she was your patient." Whatever. The dentist finally comes in. She looks in my mouth and says everything looks great. They will do my cleaning and send me on my way. At this point, I told her I needed to reschedule and she said that wouldn't be an issue. This is where my problem happened. I go to the front desk and say I need to reschedule. I asked if there is a specific time and day that's less busy because I waited 2 1/2 hours and that's not OK. The receptionist doesn't apologize or even acknowledge that. She schedules me and asks when the last time I had a cleaning done was. I tell her three months ago. She asks if I've been REGULARLY going every three months. I say yes. Apparently, when I was at Absolute Dental a few years back, they put me down as a periodontal patient. That's fine, but that means a basic cleaning isn't covered. At this point, she tells me she doesn't know what kind of cleaning they will do and I can take a chance on what it will be the day of. I ask if she can talk to the hygienist and dentist to figure it out because I'm not going to waste time driving here. She says after talking to the hygienist, he refuses to do a regular cleaning on me. Listen. Did I get a deep cleaning in the past? Yep. Did I take it seriously? I sure as hell did. I use an oral b electric tooth brush to brush twice a day with Paradontax. I floss and use a water pik daily. My mouth is in great condition. There is absolutely no reason they won't do a regular cleaning. Oh wait, yeah there is. They want me to pay $200 out of pocket!! I'm so mad because I wasted my exam benefits here. I don't know what to do, but I know I won't be coming to Absolute joke of a Dental Office - Aliante. read more

This is my favorite location for Absolute Dental. This location is NO WHERE near my house anymore but I make the drive because the service and staff are excellent. The Dentist has a soft touch and gets the job done without the pain. The staff is incredible and always so helpful. Today when I showed up for our appointments, the front desk told me that my appointment was booked at another location. What!! No idea how it got messed up but they told me they could squeeze my son and I in today at this location. Love that! They got us back within ten minutes! Schedule appointment for a tooth filing that fell out a bit. They first started by taking alot of of X-rays before speaking to me about any issues. Then once I saw the dentist she was more concerned about pulling all my wisdom teeth out instead of issue with 1 tooth. I never had any issues with wisdom teeth since I was born without a tooth and I have a larger mouth that supported the teeth. Their plan was 7k for everything they wanted to do. I went to another dentist and there plan was only 2k. I also called for them to transfer my x-rays and they said it could take up to 48 hours. They ended up never sending the xrays so I had to pay $60 to redo them at the other dentist. And I had to pay $60 office visit at the new dentist since my insurance only does 1 dentist appointment a year. Dont waste your time or money and do not go here. read more

So I went to this orthodontist and dental facility for four years. I recently just got my braces removed because they decided to end my treatment early because of the fact they didn't think I was doing what I needed to. (Im going to have to go to another orthodontist to get checked all over again and probably going to have to get braces put back on.) Also while taking off the glue on my teeth with the grinder the orthodontist started shaving under my teeth claiming she didn't get them completely straight and trying to fix them in the othro side. Shes the one who let me go for treatment. During those four years they took out two of my teeth claiming one was a tooth that had a baby tooth under and the other claiming I needed to make space in my mouth. During these 3-4 years of treatment that happened in the first year. 3 years passed I didn't get bands, my brackets kept braking even when eating soft foods. Overall they blamed it on me when my treatment plan was 3-6 between changes. When I would call to try to reschedule an appointment sometimes they didnt even answer so I would have to call every week to reschedule an appointment. By then all the spots are full and I have to wait a couple more months.Not only that the times I had cavities I had to wait hours upon hours just to be even checked on and then to not even be treated for cavities that day and having to reschedule my appointment. Also If your a very anxious person especially in offices that requires the trust of the professional this is not the place to be. Their is a whole bunch of dental students who still don't know what their doing. On the orthodontist side as well as the dental side. I have to say this place is not a good orthodontist my treatment ended because they wanted it too i still have two gapes in my mouth from the two missing teeth they never fixed it. I ended up asking the orthodontist if I could get them fixed she began to say Im going to need fake teeth as a replacement. Moral of the story don't go here. They don't take care of you like they should. Also There is always a long wait up to 30 mins to 1hr on the orthodontist side. You need to reschedule your whole day because if you arrived at 8 am theres no telling if you'll get out before 11am. Also theres never enough chairs even, enough space in the lobby for how many patients they schedule. read more

Giving one star is very generous. We were going there for about two years. Everytime I went there I was mis quoted on how much I would have to pay out of pocket. They would reassure me that my insurance would cover thesurance would cover the procedures. And then a week later, I would recieve a bill from them. Last time I was in there, after I recieved a bill from them 6 mouths after any one in my family had saw them. They told me that there is no record of me paying, even though I had reciepts and when I asked for an automated bill on everything they were charging me for. Each time I've come here, I've waited AT LEAST 45 minutes past my appointment time to be taken back. Once you finally get back and into a chair, you wait another 15-30 minutes to be seen. They seriously do not answer the phone. I called 5 TIMES - no exaggeration - throughout the day to return a voicemail. I never got a call back. My first visit, I just thought it was a fluke. The second time was literally the longest I've ever been at a dental office - and for a basic cleaning! I'm talking over 2 hours here! And this last time was the straw that broke the camels back: I got new insurance and all the sudden I NEEDED a full set of x-rays? Mind you, I just had x-rays done with them 18 months ago. It was strange how adamant they were about not being able to do a basic cleaning without new x-rays. I let them know I'm moving so wanted to save my insurance for when I move and they just told me there was nothing they could do. In my opinion, they saw my new insurance and got excited to bill for a full set of x-rays. Anyway, I just got up and left. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the dentist is actually nice. I was worried when I saw some of the reviews for Absolute Dental, but I have received nothing short than the best care here. Everyone I have dealt with has been extremely professional and helpful. Every appointment they have made sure I knew what was going to happen step by step and ran my dental work through my insurance to fully educate me on the cost prior to doing any procedures. They fully involve you with every step of your dental procedures from making the appointment to options on what to have done and suggestions on how to prevent issues in the future. When my appointment is made, I always receive a conformation text about the appointment. Closer to the appointment I always receive a reminder text. This dental practice should have a higher rating for sure. They should also be given the opportunity to earn your business. read more

I recently moved to Las Vegas from New York and was very nervous about starting over in a in dental practice, 8 was going to the same dentist in New York for 15 years, I was pleasantly surprised with my first experience with Absolute Dental, not only did I get a prompt appointment, when I arrived at my appointment the front desk staff was very friendly, the dental assistant was awesome she was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions I asked when the practitioner entered the room she also made me feel very comfortable, the next step was for the admin staff to see what was covered and what my responsibility was before the completion of any work so there would be no surprises, this was very refreshing , last was the Hygienist, he was also very knowledgeable, he informed me of what I needed done and wh he was going to do, Thank You to the entire staff for making my visit a great experience. If I could give negative stars I would. I have had by far the WORST experience with this establishment. It has been 5 months since my exam which due to poor and missed communication by the office I was told per the manager I would be charged the lower cash price and then would not be charged after all as a courtesy so to not leave unsatisfied. I later received an EOB showing I was charged even higher than the quoted insurance rate. When I went back in to discuss I was told when the bill was finalized it would be updated. It was not. I have been visiting, calling and emailing the office and billing dept for the last 5 months and have never even received a call back and the manager is always unavailable. It is sickening to lie, go back on your word and then continuously dodge innocent patients. And this is exactly why I decided I would never return after the first visit. Not to mention they told me I may need extensive gum surgery and referred me to a specialist in Summerlin because they couldnt decipher their own X-rays which turned out to be separate medical claim and I was told I have absolutely no issues!
