Next, I met dental assistant Lucy who could not have been more awesome. Her knowledge, understanding of my anxiety, and respect made me feel more confident in a dental chair then I have in years. Her constant check ins to assure I was still ok was so kind and she made sure I knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. Next I was introduced to doctor Jas who yet again superseded my expectations. He set a treatment plan that worked at my pace and broke everything down without me feeling rushed or confused which is a lost art in dentistry. I left the office feeling confident and for once excited to continue my dental health and I can not praise the entire office enough. My husband was so impressed with my level of confidence he instantly booked himself an appointment and switched dentists. 5 stars is not enough!!

I called back and spoke to someone and they said they could reschedule at the same company, just the office across the parking lot. Great! They just called me at 3:50pm on July 11th to tell me that the dentist they scheduled me with had a family emergency, and the other dentist in the practice won't take my insurance. So they have to cancel again. When I got upset, the office manager said "life happens" and when I said "can you understand why I'm upset that you have had to cancel on me a second time?" She tried to tell me that the first time was actually a reschedule and not a cancellation. Like are you seriously arguing semantics with me? Negative stars!!!

I took hours off from work to make it in. Planned a nice meal before. Went in and was hit with $0 discount. Reason being, the manager that promised the discount wasn't in and the assistant manager didn't have the authority to give a discount. Ok, I understand. Although to get to that date, in that seat, it took me about a year to save. Not to mention I had my gums poked and every single tooth x rayed and checked already. 2 hours burned. For what? The part that did it for me, was that the "assistant manager" had no empathy or care to my scenario. She was pretty much like take it or leave it. I was upset. This was April 10th. So, I called back to get the manager on the phone. That same assistant would tell me she wasn't in. Finally after 4 days of calling, the manager was in. She told me she would give me a call back to see what could be done. She never called. Never emailed. I also got a notification right after I walked out that my email was changed. By who? Who authorized it? Very unprofessional and very shady of them to give me a car salesman experience and not even call back to try to make it right. I tried to make it right and were 16 calendar days in and nothing. Don't recommend this place if you're looking for honesty. I have had 5 crowns, and 1 more pending and he is quick and does excellent work. I felt compelled to leave this review as I had my first root canal/crown done yesterday and it was painless and not nearly as traumatic as some folks relay root canal experiences. And he has a cool new machine on premises that can make a crown in office as opposed to having a temp crown for 2-3 weeks and coming back in for yet another procedures (this also opens up more appointments btw). If I ever leave the area, I'll have to fly back to Vegas to get my dental work done. Dr. Trinh only has one draw back--there is only one of him--highly recommend Elite Dental.
