The Dentist awkwardly greeted me at a 95° angle then asked me a question by directly facing a wall behind me. He takes a look at my teeth, and has his assistant write it down to begin billing. After, he suggests not getting a root canal and to get a filling instead. I explained to him that the previously dentists I've seen said to get root canals and crowns. The receptionist came over and repeated what I said to him. Then the conversation progressed in Spanish. On my out, I was given a little cleaning by the dentist I guess? But the assistant did not do a good job at the dental polisher. At the front desk there were free expired coupons for mouthwash. I was given a printed copy of the bill. It was not for a root canal. It was for whatever the dentist suggested but I thought we already went over this, on top of it I told him that his plan wasn't going to work, him and his receptionist said that there could be possible problems after. While he explained about root canals, he says he can't do it and that I would have to be sent to another clinic. So I'm wondering why I wasn't reffered? Wasn't perscribed antibiotics? And why was I given an estimate price for root canals here when he can't even do it.. My theory from reading other people's reviews may sound (esp cause I saw one very specific to my situation only I didn't go through with his treatment plan) ....Is that, They charge low prices for dental work but are not that qualified. Warning, may lead to infections and pain which leads to getting more work done and so on. At least I got a toothbrush on the way out.

Before my husband's situation, I had a couple of silver fillings replaced with tooth-colored composite fillings at this office. Since then, I've had nothing but problems. I've returned multiple times because I can't get floss between two of the teeth where the fillings were placed, and another filling causes pain whenever I eat certain foods. Looking back, I wish I had never replaced my silver fillings. The composite fillings may look nicer, but my experience has been disappointing. Another concern is the constant staff turnover. Aside from a few long-term employees and one of the dentists in the back, it seems like there's always a new team. Because of these experiences, we are in the process of finding a new dentist.

By around 5:20 PM, after all that waiting and confusion, we were then asked to complete paperwork that should have been addressed before or upon arrival. The entire process felt very disorganized and unprofessional. I understand offices can get busy, but communication and check-in procedures should be handled much more efficiently, especially when patients arrive early and follow instructions.

After calling a few options, I found that most nearby offices had no appointments available for six months, except for one (Dr. Tan Q, Tran). This very open schedule should have been my first clue. When I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that the office had a broken side window. It didn't look recent, which wasn't a good sign. The reception area was neat, but the place looked rundown. After providing my information, the receptionist asked me to take a seat while they verified my details and confirmed Dr. Tran as my primary provider. While waiting, I could hear the staff's conversations clearly. They were loudly passing a phone around, exclaiming, "Can you believe this, brah?" "Oh my god, brah, that is crazy!" "I know brah, can you believe it?" Not the most professional environment. The person who brought me back was pleasant and took me for a single panoramic X-ray, followed by 4 standard bitewing X-rays. However, they charged my insurance for an additional panoramic X-ray that did not occur, and the bitewing machine was shaking the entire time, making me question the quality of the X-rays. The dentist came in within less than five minutes of the X-rays being complete, which surprised me, and he charged my insurance for a comprehensive oral review, not sure how he even had time to look at my X-rays let alone a comprehensive review. He introduced himself quickly and said we would do a simple cleaning today and I should come back for a deep cleaning. When I asked for an explanation, he mentioned I had minor bone loss and needed the deep cleaning for thorough care. I asked if a hygienist would clean my teeth, but he said they had no hygienist, and he would do the basic cleaning. The cleaning was rushed, lasting literally five minutes, and he was not gentle despite me telling him of my sensitivity. He instructed his assistant to polish my teeth afterward. Throughout this brief interaction he mentioned the deep cleaning 3 times. I've never been told by any previous dentist that I had minor bone loss and I had never heard of deep cleaning up until this point, as I take extremely good care of my teeth. The assistant was very nice and did a good job, but when I asked about the bone loss, she couldn't give me a clear answer and seemed uncertain when looking at the blurry x-rays she pulled up. At checkout, I chose to stand rather than sit on the filthy stained chairs. The office was rundown, with a stained and ruined waterfall wall with no water. The receptionist asked when I would like to schedule the deep cleaning, and I just looked at her, then she said, "Well, it's optional" and I said no thank you. She said, "ok we're done," so I left. I have never had such an unprofessional experience at a dentist's office. This dentist seems to be pushing deep cleanings to make more money from insurance companies and charge for extra X-rays that did not happen, additionally they have no website seems shady. I would stay far away from this place, and I will be reporting them, as I'm not confident they have the appropriate licensing to work in my mouth. Just WOW. So mad at myself for not doing better upfront research. Lesson learned.

I also appreciate the fact that he stayed Beyond his closing time all the way till 8 p.m. to help me in my situation. I would like to extend great appreciation for the staff of this dental office. They're quickness to respond to my request and the doctors generosity and seeing me after hours. I was in Las Vegas for a week and having to think about going through that pain for the rest of the time during my vacation I think I would have just not have been happy at all. Dr. Bui looked through the X-rays with me, and explained in details on what my options are regarding on my dental treatments. He was very patience in answering all my questions/concerns. I am usually very skeptical with dentists because of my past experiences, but I can tell that Dr. Bui truly care about his patients and will offer the best care for his patients. All the staffs were super nice and friendly here in this office. Everyone follows the CDC guidelines in the office by wearing masks, gown, gloves, and face shields for the doctors. I recommended a few friends here, and they all love it here. They not only love the care that was provided by Dr. Bui, but also how convenient it is to not have to travel to another office when they needed to see a specialist.
