Referred by home warranty company for broken AC. They damaged the control system, then installed a used pump that lasted 2 weeks. We decided to replace 2 ac/furnace systems as original 19 yo. Installed the wrong AC on one system (5 ton 1 stage, but ordered/quoted/priced a 5 ton 2 stage). They eventually came back and replaced with the correct ac. Gave us a bill for 18K, paid, then multiple abusive calls from office demanding an additional 1K, and they did not provide any of the paperwork for warranty. That took several weeks, and then we paid the added 1K. Now they refuse to provide the annual maintenance specified in the contract. Budget work indeed! Beware! read more

Our air conditioner went out on one of the hottest days of the year. AHS set us up with Absolute. The office manager was so nice and helpful and gave me a time for the very next day. She said they would call before they came out, which they did, twice, but unfortunately my phone was not working, so I didn't get the calls. Short version, I called and she immediately called Guy and his crew, and they came out that day and had it working within an hour. He was very nice and cordial even after me missing their calls. I was pleasantly surprised when I was assigned to Absolute by AHS Home Warranty. The scheduling was quick with the office and they got Guy's team out to my house 5 days earlier than the first contractor I was assigned. They quickly diagnosed and remedied the problem and had our A/C unit back running in no time. Guy was patient and answered all the questions I had about our current system and explained the common issues I may experience and the costs associated with repairs vs. a new system. Well, where to start off. Juanita bellew, the manager, (owners spouse so don't think she'll ever be removed) wonderful lady, such a winner that one, horrible customer services skills but from her words "just a button pusher". I called ahs for two ac not working, they came out, fixed one, said they needed parts for the other then closed out my case as completed but clearly it wasn't. Then juanita gives a call a WEEK later saying "I don't know why they needed to order the parts we already have those" and sends another tech out. This other technician says "oh did "guy" (another tech) come out? We confirmed and he knew exactly what was going on. He took apart the machine again said we needed a fuse and a motherboard now which would take months to get. Proceeded to leave with our whole machine still apart and his tools left behind. So we call good ol juanita next day to see what's actually going on and of course the manager knows nothing "call my technician aka SON idk anything" well your technicians have told me multiple stories and I was hoping you can provide clarification on the situation but nope, jauanita hung up in anger after telling me I can go to another company. The second picture is the unprofessional text from the manager after her tech aka son comes out and still can't fix my ac. She figured let's just cancel the whole work order and tell ahs she was verbally abusing us. Lol never once cussed or was out of line. This company was assigned to me by my home warranty. Called scheduled an appointment and everything went smoothly. I get a call two weeks after the job and payment was completed. The receptionist lady Juanita called and emailed me stating payment was declining and to call back, called back and said payment already processed so I was confused as to what she was talking about. She is sooooo rude she started going off about how she's gone through her statements and that there is no payment, I told her not to talk to me like that and that I would happily provide my statement that reflects payment. Anyway she found my payment and said that it was short $23 because of a fee to use credit/debit, told her that is what the gentleman charged me & she went off saying ohhhhh thanks now I'm gonna take it out of his paycheck goodbye!! I was seriously confused and shocked as to how rude she is. And a $23 fee to pay with credit/debit?! Wow. Even with the home warranty I had to pay $455 out of pocket. read more

Very difficult to work with this company. They were assigned through the home warranty, however they take multiple days to schedule the appointment and require many games of phone tag. When you do eventually reach them, the customer service representative is incredibly rude and abrupt. The service technician that they assigned had to come out on three separate instances and the issue has still not been resolved. I am working with my home warranty now to ensure that they are not assigned as my contractor again. 1/4 Edit For your safety and well-being, I cannot urge highly enough to stay away from this company. After working with another company that scheduled immediately and came out in less than 24 hours, within 15 minutes the technician recognized that there was a leak in the heat exchange (spewing carbon monoxide and gas) and that the unit could have easily caught fire and ignited leaking gas. Absolute replaced the safety part that was triggering the shut-down mechanism due to the leaking gas without noticing a large and obvious leak in the unit. I am amazed that this company is certified as I am lucky to still have my home and my life after this issue. Please seek assistance from any other company in the Tucson area. read more

Where do I even start? These folks were assigned to me by my home warranty company and after THREE visits to my house over the course of a week they "replaced" a bunch of parts but didn't actually fix the issue. They had to then hand my case off to another company because they weren't staffed to handle the business of a hot AZ summer. So I was without AC in the desert for 18 days thanks to their incompetence. Also, the tech left empty water bottles (trash) next to my house for me to clean up. Absolute was assigned to me via my home warranty company. Not sure who the lady is answering the phone, but she needs some lessons in customer service or just even manners. The first time I talked to her, she was decent- not over friendly but okay. She gave me some appointment options and I told her I would have been check with my bro in law to see if he could be there to let he guys in to fix the ac. I called back around lunch, got no answer but I left a voicemail. Around 3:30 pm I decided to call back because I hadn't received a call back from them. When the lady answered the phone I said " hi my name is Samantha and I spoke with you earlier about possible appointment time for your guys to come check out my ac." Then she rudely says "well you didn't give me your last name, or your home address so I have no idea who you are." She basically yelled at me for not giving her information that she DID NOT ask me for. She even let out a "OH MY GOD" when I told her that she was about she was about to lose my business. She calmed down and finally made an appointment. My bro in law waited from 10-2, and low and behold they finally show up at 1:45. Turns out that my roof is too tall and they didn't have a ladder that would reach my roof. Let me add that they serviced my ac Feb 2016. And now they don't have the tools to get onto my roof? What kind of company is this? So basically they did nothing for me, and I got yelled at by a very unprofessional phone lady. Wish I could give them "zero" stars. read more

This company came out to run some tests on our AC unit that took 2 days to run. They were assigned to us from our home warranty company. We were not informed when they would be returning to complete the work until the night before and even then the time we were given was off. The work was subpar resulting in the problem never being fixed as three weeks later our AC is still broken. We needed to replace a 20 year old 3 ton HVAC system in May. Bill Engle, president of company and the primary installer gave us a bid for the repair. Came out the same day we called. Quoted us a price for a Trane model XR17 that included full installation, removal of the old unit, permits, sales tax, and scheduled maintenance (2 visits). The quote was very reasonable. Installation occurred several days later. It was done as specified. He was careful in the installation process and fully explained how the unit operated and the new internet/smart phone connected electronic thermostat. We also had the duct work cleaned after installation and that process was excellent as well. 100 % recommend Absolute Heating Cooling. read more

Following several days of record high temps, we experienced a 4+ hour power outage. When power returned, one of our a/c units was no longer putting out cold air. We called Absolute and were pleasantly surprised to be able to schedule a service call the next day. Bill from Absolute called when he was enroute and arrived shortly thereafter. He had our unit repaired and running 30 minutes later. It appeared the power surge had blown out the capacitor. Even though he had to be overwhelmed with so many service calls and was working in extreme heat, Bill was not only professional but also friendly with a 'can do' attitude. The company is incompetent. We had to wait a whole week due to their business hours falling on our work schedule for a service. Once the service worker came out, he didn't have a ladder longer enough to get on the roof to perform a service.
