Then the summer visit came yesterday and don't know where the communication breakdown came but when i talked to the scheduler a couple of months ago and made the appointment, I immediately documented it in my Google calendar. Well, yesterday's appointment was to be between 8 and 10 AM. Then 10 AM came and went, and so did 10:30 and 11:00 AM. I called at 11:30 and was told that my appointment was late afternoon. I said no thanks cancel my appt and hung up. Within about 20 minutes or so I get a call from technician David, whom was told to call and report to my home. Very nice guy, we talked about the system, do's and dont's. He went outside and checked things, hosed out the inside of Condensor fan housing and the coils. The air flow from the registers read 80. I had a very positive experience with Todd from Rincon. When I showed him the figures, he speculated my AC was low on refrigerant. He gave me a price estimate assuming refrigerant had to be added to the AC unit. After checking pressure readings on my AC unit, he added two pounds of refrigerant to the AC unit and the air flow temperature started coming down. He then checked for possible leaks and found one which he was able to repair. During the time he was working, Todd answered my questions which helped me better understand what to expect regarding my AC unit. I am delighted to report that the inside temperature eventually dropped down to the thermostat setting and the air flow coming from the registers was 20 degrees cooler than the inside temperature. Todd indicated that is what I should expect. The next day everything is working as expected. The Inside temperature matches the thermostat setting and the air flow from the registers is 20 degrees cooler than the inside temperature. Todd was easy to communicate. He was able to repair the leak and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. I will be requesting him for any future servicing my AC might need.

My husband had ti take off work and I had to leave work early because my husband had an appointment. A technician came out with an apprentice. The AC never actually turned on and they had to come out the next day because things outside weren't properly installed. The following Monday (exactly 1 week later), we woke up and the AC wasn't working again. Monday was also Labor Day so naturally, it took my husband 9 calls to get in contact with someone even though this company claims to be 24/7. The issue was, the thermostat wasn't properly installed which turned the whole system off. They didn't have another thermostat to give us, so they took reinstalled our old ones which temporarily fixed the issues. Next day, AC wasn't working again. This time it was a draining issue in the attic -my husband went up in the attic and drained it manically. Technician came out, actually broke it more (which we found out the next day) and left. This technician was at my house till 7-8 at night. Next day, AC wasn't working again. Still a drowning issue. My husband continued to manually drain it himself and took a video of the broke piping that wasn't previously broken. No technicians can come out till the following day. Thursday now, I leave work early for the technicians that are supposed to come 12-2... guess what, no one does. 2:15, I call for an update, 3:30 I call for an update. Technician finally shows up at about 530 -so again, I had to take off of work for no reason. Technician comes out, my husband shows him the video and guess what? THEY DONT HAVE THE PARTS TO FIX IT. So I waited all day for absolutely nothing. Technicians are supposed to come back out today so we'll see if this finally gets resolved. I'm not hopeful. Update: Company never called me to notify me when someone was going to come out like they said they would which annoying. When the technician came out, he had the correct fittings for the piping but he forgot a thermostat so he had to go get one at their store so that added another hour. All the technicians that have come out have been very nice. But that doesn't actually fix my AC. I feel completely ripped off. They replaced my whole system, just for it to take like 4-5 other visits to work . It feels like they're stealing our money. They never even give us the courtesy of calling to let us know when someone will be at the house if they're running late -they just expect us to be able to wait all day. Terrible customer service. Me and my husband are both active duty military so luckily we don't lose any money when we need to leave work early for these things but guess what? A lot of people do lose their income when they aren't actually at work.
